Good evening everyone! I will be on the NOV 3 cruise. i am doing a B2B but i am doing it with the Nov 6 cruise. May i join in with this thread?

I am ready for my trip! I was at walmart last night and saw pirate tattoos and held them up for my husband and he said "What?". I said we can get these for pirate night.... he said nothing... i put them back. I knew i would forget about them in the next 17 months.. LOL

We just transferred our 10/23/10 Magic reservation to the 10/30/11 Dream 4-night. Are we in the right spot?

Got a cat 6b, with main dining. Looking forward to the new ship, and having it all to ourselves when we stay on in Nassau.

Oh, and this will be our 3rd Halloween cruise. We were on the 7 night Magic Halloween cruises in 2007 and 2008. We were kind of bummed that we'd miss it this fall, as our original 2010 plans fell just shy of Halloween. We're very happy to be back on cycle for 2011.

Many of us here have cruised together a few times before and we love to make new friends. So jump right in.

We can be a bit crazy a ttimes but harmless for the most part accept for Mutt but he hasnt posted in awhile Guess i needt o get afer him again.

Ok, now for my late good morning.

I just got back from visiting my mom and we had a good visit. I actually got her outside to enjoy the sun for about 40 minutes. It is hard for her to walk that far so we had to stop and rest a bit which made for a nice cookie break before going outside.
It is 82 and sunny today.
EXCELLANT!!!!

Suppose to have a nice week. The first dry one in several months.

My name is Denise and traveling with Wally: altho I am one of the ones who may need to back out But going to keep posting and keep coming here until I know for sure. This will be my 3rd Disney cruise, however, I have traveled with some of these people once or twice before. they are a great group to travel with.

Looking forward to getting to know you better in the upcoming months.

Just a quick hello not much going on this weekend...just some cleaning and yard work and thats about it. And gee whiz tomorrow I get to go back to work and do it all over again.

Happy Monday and good morning all.

Welcome Sean and Christine and Stephieann.
We will only be sailing on the 10/30/2011 cruise so I won't get to meet Stephieann. It will be my DH Adam, my DD Aly, my DS Matthias, my MIL Linda and myself Morgan going.

Not much going on this week. DH is starting on his second of 2 whole weeks working nonstop. Kinda missing his usual 3 on 3 off schedule. Kids had a birthday party to go to yesterday and got most of it in before the storms hit. Kathy, you can have your wet weather back now! Been doing some hotel research this weekend though. I'm thinking we are going to stay at Cape Caribe the night before the cruise at least. They have a 2 bedroom that looks nice. DH and I think that might be the best way to go for us and his mother. Plus, we are right at the end of the harbor so we can watch any ships leaving Saturday night. Anyone ever stayed there?

Alright, off to do the usual dishes and Have a great day everyone!

Happy monday everyone,
just 4 more days until we go camping for a week

Our weather is cooler today but suppose to hit 70, then rain tomorrow afternoon but all warm and sunny again after that for the week.

No thanks on taking the rain back Morgan, you can have it all summer See how generous I am. A regular sweetheart


If we go we will probably stay at the Hyatt at the airport and then take the Cruise bus to the port next morning. That worked great last time. Our flights from Oregon always get in late at night or we may come in a couple days early and to go WDW and then take the Cruise bus from there to the port. We have done that before too and it worked out great.

Most of the past cruises with the Bananaheads they have stayed at the Radisson and had a mini meet the night before by the pool. They all went together and ordered pizza and of course gave a lot of business to the outside Tiki bar there
They also had live music there to set the mood. Some stayed close by and walked over to join the party as I understand it. I was there 2 cruises back for the mini meet and it was fun.
I may be one of the few who can actually remember the get together since I dont drink


Got to run, dishes to do, laundry to do, dogs to walk, and breakfast to eat.

We loved staying at the Radisson in 2008 but next year we will be staying in WDW. Actually, I planned this whole trip around WDW. Last year I went to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot and loved it. We will be flying in on Thursday night and spending Friday and Saturda in the parks. We'll drive to the port on Sunday morning.

There was no "Mini" in that meet, girlfriend! That was Nanas Take Over the Radisson.

Greetings Nanaheads!
I haven't been here in a while. Lots going on at our house. I now have a middle schooler and a first grader How did that happen? School's out. Kids are swimming, going to camp, and having fun. Mina and I are working and getting the house in order. Our pool is done and we love it. Now the landscaper is working to make it all pretty. I'll post pix once it is...

My sister is coming in from Montana at the end of the month for a visit so I know the girls will love that.

And we are heading to WDW on Wednesday for a short trip. Staying at the Boardwalk for the first 2 nights then the Grand Floridian for the last four. Lizzie really wanted to do this as a "fifth grade graduation" kind of thing so of course you had to twist my arm to plan it. I know it's hot hot hot down there but we aren't going to go park crazy this trip. Plan to enjoy the hotels, have some good meals, swim a lot, drive to Clearwater to hit the beach for a day and go to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time ever. Not sure how we are going to get everything done between now and when we leave since we have a swim meet tomorrow night but at least our flight leaves later in the day.

this trip, I promise to remember my camera!

HUH?! WHY?! And who are the others??

First off I think Kathy is one of them....not sure really who the "others" are.

The reason is my daughter Heather is getting married...New years eve-day
In Las Vegas....so my money that I have been saving for the cruise is going towards that....since its a holiday the airfare will run us about 1,000.00 and thats not including the hotel stay, plus all the other "wedding" things.

So we may have to back out...will see how things go after the first, I am not cancelling out yet....and hoping that I can still afford to go....


today was a horrible day at work....glad its over.....have to work again this weekend....so I get off early tomorrow.....dont know what I will do with my afternoon......I may go shopping........hmmm sounds like a plan to me!!!!

Plus I an anxious to see the pool when its all done. What size did you have put in? I miss our pool but in Oregon its too cold most of the year to have one unless you get one inside .

Denise your right we are still on the fence about this trip. Having to wait and see about the job situation when its closer. We will try our best to come along. We really want to see the Dream and of course a few old and new nanahead friends again

Happy tuesday everyone

Our clouds and showers have returned but its suppose to be gone by tomorrow and the sun and 70's will return

Caught a virus or something last night. I really dont want it so I am willing to share if anyone wants it. Just let me know.
Lots of achy muscles and bad headache but today is better, so hopefully this will be a short illness. After all we are leaving friday for vacation. Got to be 100% by then.

Well, we still haven't put the deposit on any cruise yet so we might not make it on to this cruise but we are really wanting on this one. Otherwise we will have to push it back to November or December for my MIL to be able to go.

DH has changed his mind about staying at Ron Jon's condos and now wants to stay at Days Inn Cocoa Beach, or Best Western Cocoa Beach. We stayed at the Days Inn last November when we went with Carnival. It worked out really well for us. It's a block away from Cocoa Pier and shopping and that's why he wants to stay there... We shall see how things go.

Another nasty storm last night, Kathy, I'm not really liking the weather you are sharing with us... We've had 3 days of nasty storms in the evening. They've all caused my best friend to freak out and beg me to come sit with her so she doesn't blow away. Today is supposed to be the last day for the really nasty storms though so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping like crazy that they really are done.
