Evening all:

Thank goodness today is just about over....crazy day at work, then I went and got my hair cut and just got home about 30 minutes ago....

Ok, so I get home, let the dog out....go upstairs and chaning clothes when the dog comes back in and comes upstairs......

Now mind you, Wally is sleeping, and the dog is on a tie out...behind a closed sliding door....

So of course I ask the "dog"....how did you get in here??? But he never answered me So I walk out of my room and my son is standing there....scared the hell out of me....I didnt even here him come in nor let the dog in.....pretty sad.....

Well thats my exciting news of the day!!

Hello all.

Today is my baby's last day of kindergarten and then we are free for the whole summer! Not quite sure I'm ready for her to grow up! We've been going to the pool every day after school because it's been so hot and humid here. Going to go have a party tonight at the pool to celebrate the kids' last day of school. Hope everyone has a great day and a great weekend!

Hi Morgan,
They do grow up too fast. I cant believe that i have a grandchild who is in her 2nd year of college
It seems like my kids were just babies and now their babies are grown up.
Of course I usually dont acknowlege the older 2 and stick to the younger 3 grandkids who are 12, 10 and 5 months I dont sound so old that way

Yes Kathy, but we know the truth about the "2 older" grandkids...
Your only as "old" as you feel.....and boy some days I must be 90....

Cut the lawn after work today...we cut it last thrusday, and it has grown so much, you would have thought we didnt cut it for 3 weeks... it was so long...but at least that is done...tomorrow we are finishing the garden!

Sunday to my dads and Monday.......NOTHING!!!!! Sleeping in and doing nothing but relaxing....

Hi all,
went to visit my mom today. Had a great visit, she knew who we were and was happy and teasing so it was a great visit. Had terrible traffic going both ways so got a terrible headache when I got home.

Denise, I would love to share updated photos of MaryAnne but I dont have any. I have only got to see her one time They live so far away.
I asked for photos and my DD said they would take some next month for her 6 month birthday.
She takes some on her cell but they arnt good quality. I will ask again for them to try. You have seen your GD more than I have seen mine, and you live states away.

I did see my oldest GS today for about 10 minutes. He just got accepted into some elite school band that is really hard to get into. He is also holding a 4.0 all of this year. He takes all advanced classes and they are still too easy for him. They have been trying to get him into a school for gifted kids for 3 years now but they are all filled up. There is only 1 school for this part of the state so it stays filled. So he is still on the waiting list. Now that he will graduate next year he wants to stay and graduate with his friends.

We cant figure out where he got his smarts?? It sure wasnt from me or his mom (my DD) of course his good looks he got from his grandma

Thats great about your grandson....

Glad your mom was doing welll yesterday...that always makes for a nice visit.

It was sooooo hot yesterday...they were talkikng in the high 70's but it ended up being 90 out and the smart people that Wally and I are...still decided to finish the garden.....thought I was gonna die from heatstroke. It was aweful....but the garden is finished....now hopefully the plants will survieve. Just got back from my dads and grocery shopping...going to throw some beef kabobs on the grill....yummy....

Greeting everyone! I hope your all having a great Sunday afternoon.

Kathy, glad to hear you had a nice visit with your mom.

The sun is poking out every now and then through holes in the clouds. It's been so long since I've been in direct sunlight that it hurts my eyes. I had to put my sunglasses on so my retinas and optical nerve wouldn't fry.

My kids are out of school and Chayce starts drivers ed on Tuesday.....there goes my summer!

Howdy all,
nice to see some posting here besides me.


We had some sun this morning but the clouds soon rolled in. But it is 67 so not so bad. But tomorrow will dump rain.

I have been doing laundry all day. I decided to do the bedding and comforters which I have to take to the local laundry matt because they are so large. I still need to wash my rugs in my machine and I will be done. I will set them on the picnic table to dry. If I dont do them today it may be weeks before its warm enough to dry them again.

It better be nice for our camping trip towards the end of June. Its over in Bend and even if we are rainy they are usually pretty nice over there.

I hope you warned the towns people about Chayce starting drivers ed.
Thats much better than a parent teaching them. If they wreck a car it wont be yours. Actually I am not laughing too much, my oldest DD crashed my new Mitsubishi while practicing. Head on into a tree
Totaled the car, she was unhurt but I had back and neck injuries.
That was the last tiem I rode with a teenager to practice driving.

It scared her so bad she didnt learn to drive for 4 more years after that.

My washer has stopped so got to take clothes to the dryer again.
