My grandaughter Nikka got her yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do yesterday and she is very proud.
Her mom is a black belt and her dad is a 2nd or 3rd degree black belt. Her grandpa on the other side of the family is high than that, so she has been brought up learning it.
But just now got interested enough to really work at it.

Congrats to your grandaughter....
Jimmy took classes when he was around 8 or 9 he did very well in them, but we pulled him as his grades were slipping in school....and that was more important at the time....

Well I spoke with Heather about taking Izzy on the cruise. she is totally fine with us taking her....now I just have to decided if I want to do it or not....
I went shopping today for her birthday....bought a ton of outfits for her....they have the cutiest clothes...I just have so much fun doing it.....

It was a beautiful weekend here....70's both days and sunny...I thru steaks on the grill today....yummmmm they tasted soooo good.
Last nite went and saw this performance...it was 3 guys who did the BeeGee's....they were soooo good and sounded just like them....at the end they had the whole theather up and dancing.....it was great....brought back a lot of memories when I was single....

Hi Denise,
I hope you decide to still go.
I know with little ones it is hard but the spalsh zone keeps'em busy and they nap really great then, plus the nursery will allow 10 hours per cruise and sometimes more when they have openings so you can have some time by the adult pool and evenings in the clubs.

we took our GKs on deck 4 to nap and we could read or relax there and also in the area around the family pool but closer to the adult area so we could have people come and sit with us and visit while they slept.

It is alot of responsibility but we loved every minute of it. They slept like a rock all night from all the excitement. An umbrella stroller works great for a stroll and snooze while your on deck chatting with nanaheads too.

Hope it all works out for you. Let us know when you deicde. Its still along ways away and she will be 2+ by that time and much easier to take care of.

well its cold and foggy this morning but its suppose to burn off and be rainy and cold. UGH!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was good.

Today is trash pick up day and Pixie knows it. She sits on the couch all morning just waiting for the truck to come so she can go balistic on it.
She can spot it about 1/3rd a mile away.

She instinctively seems to know when its monday. I think its because Greg goes back to work and she knows thats trash day She will be a nervous wreck until it comes and goes,then her first trip out after that she is really nervous. Crazy dog!!
Minnie just looks at her like she is crazy. Once in awhile she will give a little whoof after Pixie starts barking.

Sorry to disappoint you Kathy, but it's cold here again Another strom is rolling in. It was only 53 this morning. However, Thursday it's going to be 80 again. We did have a beautiful weekend. It was actually hot yesterday. Had to put on the AC in the car and had ceiling fans on in our house.

PS: I love the newspaper too. Made me smile when I read it again.

Only 11 days and I'm heading back to Colorado....cant wait to go, Wally is coming along to meet Izzy.....he hasnt meet her yet....so it should be interesting when she see's grandpa the first time.

I think its great Wally is finally going to meet his grandaughter. Just make sure there is no stubble on his face. Little ones tend to be turned off by face stubble.

I was thinking the same thing. All our new friends seem to have disappeared.
Most likely they are just very busy between work and family and the cruise is so far away. Maybe we should send them each a PM inviting them back here to get aquainted? I have doen that pn past crusies and even if they dont start posting they usually say if they are still coming or if they are too busy to post right now.

Did anyone make a list of people for this cruise yet?


Greg, how was the concert?


Still rainy here. At least its warming up here. I dont trust forecasts this far out but if they are right we will have a nice warm sunny weekend.

The music was good, but I think a few people thought they were at a Jimmy Buffet concert...had way to much to drink and a couple of middle aged women took their bras off and threw them on stage.

It was funny to see, but also sad that they had so little respect for themselves that they ended up being the entertainment for everyone else.

Well maybe they had enough to drink that they thought they were at a Buffet concert and 18years old again
it seems there is almost always someone like that at concerts.

I went thru the Bolton stage and have some of his cd's but I didnt know he was still performing.....

Hopefully the women had on an extra bra!!!! No one needs to see that....

not much going on....I think I'm in the begining stages of getting a headache....

Oh, I added Izzy onto the cruise.....I only did it because I called and asked about how much it would be to add her on, and he said we should do it now, as it I wait I might not be able to because of the "life boat" count....still not sure what I'm going to do, but I have a lot of time to make a decision.

Morning nanaheads

old again this morning but we are suppose to have a warm weekend.

I made cinnamon rolls yesterday. I had to sit a portable electric heater by the bowl of dough so it would raise up properly but it worked and they came out really good. I knew my sone was coming to spend a couple of night so there would be someone ot help eat them.
