Hello Mandarin,

Hey how about giving us your first name, unless you have an unusual name of Mandarin. We need to know so we are correct when we chat with you.
Thanks

I know how challenging school can be. Hope you get it all done so you dotn have to even think about it for awhile.:thumbsup2

Dont be a stranger, post when you can. we love hearing from everyone here.
Well mostly everyone, Greg can be a bit mischievious sometimes:rolleyes1 but everyone else are pretty much great people here.:cloud9:

Kathy

morning all,

nice pictures Greg.:thumbsup2

Hey dont worry about it being a couples retreat Greg, you can bring both Denise and I and then it will be 2 sets of 2 people.

Denise and I can zip off and find our own fun all day and just hang out with you and Janel at night:rotfl2:

Only 39 degrees right now, all our sun from yesterday is gone now.:headache:

More cleaning to do today,
back tonight,

Kathy

It's settled then! :thumbsup2

We'll be leaving for Fiji sometime in June 2011.

The only thing I ask in return is a video of Greg's reaction when you tell him you're taking off to Fiji for 2-3 weeks without him and you'll be sleeping with Denise. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey Denise, did you not read the part about this being a "couples retreat"? I'm not even taking my own kids with me this time. :rotfl2:

Congrats on the new furniture! :-)

Ok, I read that, but then forgot about it!!!:rolleyes1

and dont go passing rumors around on these boards......I dont see a problem with Kathy's solution...:rotfl:

Hey Denise and I can take turns on the couch. I figure we will be out partying most of the night anyway. Who Sleeps on such an awesome vacation.

Greg, Mind out of the gutter please, this is Disney.:rolleyes1

My Greg would say go ahead and go but you have to take the dogs so I can have some peace QUIET. We 3 girls out number him and can be quite chatty at times.

Minnie will sit there and whoof at you like a conversation for 30 minutes at a time. Pixie makes whimper noises then points her nose up in the air and howls like a coyote, even in the middle of the night:eek: Both of them snore too, of course I dont, They do tend to keep him awake.
So a few days of quiet he would enjoy,;)

well lunch is over time to get back to work.

Kathy

Good morning.

I get my stitches taken out in a couple of hours, so I'm going to take a couple of Tylenol to help dull the pain. :scared:

It seems like after they've been in about a week the area gets really sensitive and I can feel all the stitches in my skin.....it's really irritating.

Things have really started to warm up around here. They said by this weekend we could hit 50 degrees! At the rate the snow is melting it will probably be gone in a little over a week....I'd say half my grass is exposed already.

Later....

Good luck Greg !
I think the palm of the hand is just a tender area so you feel it more. I have had stitches in several places and on my upper stomach, near the ribs is also tender skin like the palms of your hand and I felt those stitches a lot, they were extremely irritating to me where the others wernt.

The doctor wasnt sure if he should take them out and I told him he WAS going to take them out even if he had to tape me together!!! They drove me nuts, so he removed them.
So you'll feel much better once they are out. Then you can just heal up and look forward to your cruise.:goodvibes

Our rain has returned during the night and is not suppose to stop all week. I am sure they are right on with that forecast.
Snow level is down to 1200 feet now too. which means the hills around me may be white by morning.

Got to go,
have a great start to your week everyone:thumbsup2

Kathy

evening all:

Greg how did the suture removal go? Are ya feeling better?

overcast and rainy out.....but at least we are in march and spring is just around the corner......

nothing much going on here..

:banana::banana:

Well I survived having the stitches removed. It wasn't as painful this time.

Now that the stitches are out the incision is bleeding a little. I've had to replace the bandages twice since I've been home. It seems to be slowing down now.

Me and the kids had teeth cleaning appointments at the dentist this afternoon. Holly had her first dental check up and did really well. Everyone was cavity free except Nicole...she has one small cavity that we'll get fixed once we get back from our cruise.

I was cavity free, but have a large crack in one of my molars so they want to put a crown on it....yippee.

SECOND PAGE!!!!!!

I know I haven't been here in a couple of days but SECOND PAGE!!!!

I promise I will do better.

Good to hear you got your stitches out Greg, sounds like you are all ready for your cruise.

Not much going on here. Just wish it was closer to our cruise. I swear it's going to be dangerous having the Wonder so close to us next year. I so would be booking a cruise for next week:teeth: Even Joey is dying for a Disney cruise. At least we are going to DL next month to get our fix.

Happy tuesday all,

Greg, glad to hear the stitches are out. Take it easy with that hand, you dont want to open up the wound and have to have stitches put back in.

Denise,
it doesnt seem like spring is almost here today. we are in the upper 20's and frost is covering everything here. The hills around me are topped off with some snow too.
It is suppose to be like that all week. :sad2:That is NOT spring for us, I wish it was. Suppose to start raining here this afternoon but freeze over tonight and higher elevations will be snow.

Time to bring back out the long johns:lmao:

Kathy

Spring will definitely be here next week. Just a few more 50º days left. Starting Friday is should be in the mid 70s :cool1::cool1:

afternoon all:

well just another busy crazy day here at work. looking forward to the weekend and today is only tuesday.....so what does that tell ya????

Christine: I know this 18 months is going to seem like forever....but once the warmer weather shows up, then time seems to go faster. I cant wait to get back on the ship either. I know Wally is even looking forward to going this time. So it should be a great time.

Nothing else is going on right now.....

Greg, glad your did good on the suture removal......boy your trip is just around the corner.

later
:banana::banana::banana:

kathy sorry to hear about your cold weather and frost.......keep it out there please....we are starting to get into the high 40's and low 50's and I would really like to keep these temps;)

You sure know how to rub it in dont you Christine :snooty:

well at least I am up to 41 now.:goodvibes Time to break out the swimsuit and get a rain tan here. The wind is blowing really hard so it feels twice as cold outside too.

Dont you feel sorry for me yet??

Denise,
I wont send it your way. I wouldnt do that to a nice lady like you but if I can send it towards Gregs place well then its on its way:lmao:

Gregs way is good......he's leaving soon...so he deserves the cold weather!!!!

thats what you get greg for not adopting me!!!:littleangel:

Go ahead! Give it your best shot! I can handle any kind of weather you can throw at me.

It was a busy day today. I put the kids to work after school cleaning the house, so the carpet cleaners can come tomorrow and shampoo the carpets.

I got Max's new electronic dog door installed this afternoon. It only took him about 10 minutes to figure out how to use it. :woohoo:

The cat's are trying to figure out why he can go through it but they can't. :rotfl2:

Howdy everyone,

The weather here is still cold. We had snow flakes this morning for a few minutes but nothing stuck. Yesterday in Salem where my kids live it snowed a lot but didnt stick. They are saying a descent weekend is coming, so we shall see.

I hope to visit my mom this weekend since I didnt make it last weekend or the weekend before. I hope no more illnesses around here to prevent me from going. Gregs mother is also very ill so we will probably stop for Greg to visit her for a few minutes too. After tests tomorrow she may be in the hospital for surgery. Hoping the best for her, not even sure what is wrong yet.

Not much else happening here for now. Just trying to keep warm, although they say 50 today I dont think we will get that warm. Our highs have been more like 43 to 45 reguardless of their predictions.

Hope everyone has a great day,

back later,

Kathy

Wow really quiet around here today.....

I swear this new computer system at work is going to drive me nuts....nothing but problems this morning...luckly a girl from systems was in our office all day.....so she was able to help with some of the problems but I really miss our old scheduling system....it was so much easier and less steps and windows.....

beautiful day here today....it was a little rainy this morning but its around 60 and sunny out.....well the sun is starting to set, but this afternoon it was sunny out.

not much else going on

later:banana::banana::banana:

Yes, it was very quiet around here today.

Janel and the kids are getting really excited for our cruise. I'm excited to leave, but not necessarily that excited about the cruise.

I was wanting to do a Southern Caribbean cruise down to Barbados, but got out voted by the family.

I use to live in South America/Brazil....nothing that exciting in the rain forest for me.

I would imagine the kids will really have fun seeing all the monkeys, birds, and other rain forest wildlife. Maybe I'll get lucky and find my pet monkey (Giovanni) that I had to leave behind when I came back home to the USA.

I hope everyone had a great day.

Morning all,

well its still raining but they are still saying a dry weekend here.

Today my MIL goes in for some tests to find out her problem. I hope they figure it all out with an easy solution for her.:thumbsup2

Nothing else going on here. Very quiet day today.
Guess I should sit back and relax.

Yesterday I watched the 2008 Bananahead cruise video that Steve made for everyone. That brought back such great memories of that trip.
