Our rain has returned. Hopefully we are to have a good weekend though.

I didnt get my chinese food made last night but will make it tonight. Since we heard the rain was coming we decided to BBQ again last night.

Thought I'd better check in.

I don't know why, but I've been really tired and sleepy since that last surgery on Friday. I hope I've got my energy back by next week, so we can start getting things ready for our 12 day cruise down to Panama.

I was beginning to worry about you. Glad you checked in.
Your meds are probably in your system and causing you to be drowsey. As inconvient as it is, its good for you to sleep so your body can use all its energy to heal you up. So enjoy the rest. Soon you'll be so busy you'll be wishing you had more pills to take

Besides the kids can find more mischief when dads knocked out

Evening all:

Well got home sunday night.....yesterday at work wasnt as brutal as I thought....we started a new electronic medical record system....and was not sure how things would go with scheduling appointments and such....but it wasnt so bad.....(guess i'm smarter than i though)

so I finally have some "free" time....so I'm going to post some pic's of Izzy....

She is getting so big I had the best time with her....Yep Kathy, it sure is fun being grandma.......speaking of.....how is your new grandaughter doing? we need some current pictures of her.

Denise,
those are great pictures. Your right your face was really cute in that one photo. She has really grown fast.

I havnt seen my new grandaughter accept that one time.
They live too far away to go see very often.

I am in contact of course and all is going well. Rachel said they are having professional photos taken soon and she will send us some. When that happens I will scan and post for everyone to see. But it will be awhile.

So for now i will enjoy Izzy's photos
She is a cutie!!!!

Morning everyone,

well its still dumping rain here. But they are still saying clear and dry this weekend. I sure hope they are right.
Greg needs to reseal the weather stripping on the wind shield and I want to go visit my mom. I see Safeway has steaks on sale so would love to BBQ some steaks this weekend for the guys if Peter is back then. He is house sitting the next few days.


I think he will return for a steak dinner if even for one evening.


Greg, hows the hand today?
Are you waking up better or still taking strong meds ofr the pain?

It is too quiet without Jeff and Greg posting.

Kathy, steak sounds yummy...when should I be there for dinner?

I'm feeling a little more energetic today, but the left hand is still really swollen and sore. I stopped taking all pain meds yesterday morning....so far so good.

I rented the Blu-ray movies "2012" and "Where the wild things are" yesterday. We watched 2012 last night and holy cow that movie really keeps you on the edge of your seat!!

Geez, I don't post for a while and Denise turns into Wally? Or is it that Denise wishes she was Wally? Disguising herself as Wally? Oh, it hurts to figure out!!! (P.S. Izzy is ADORABLE , Denise/Wally! Although I have a bad feeling that she gets NO attention Loosen up the money belt and buy the poor kid an outfit or a toy! )

So I see it's pretty much the same old gang here. Kathy, are you scarring everyone off? BAD GIRL!

Whatever happened to Dawn? Does she still post?

2nd cruise......just traveling by ourselves....looking forward to getting to know you better before the cruise....We have all cruised together before, but love new people joining our crazy "bunch".

I am Kathy, DH is Greg and we are still on the fence about this cruise but I post to get keep track of old friends and make new ones just in case
We have done 20 DCL cruises so far and one Carnival.

This is a very friendly group so jump right in and start posting.
To pass the time we chat about cruising, family , school, illnesses, just anything. Even the weather
As the cruise approaches the chatting will be more cruise oriented I am sure.
In fact when the cruise gets close this this crazy bunch of bananaheads has been known to post 30 to 35 pages a day they get so excited

Well look who came back home FINALLY!!!

I'll have you know I have been a very good girl, at least for me.

Dawn hasnt posted forever since she isnt coming along she doesnt feel its proper for her to post. I invited her to drop by and say hello.

If you go back enough posts you will see Dreamboat actually posted too But he hasnt been back since

Perhaps my response did scare him away??? I am such a sweet, kind, wonderful person I dont see how that could happen.
