Well Greg some people like Denise have to work for a living, unlike others who are house dads and work when they want to So she has been busy at work.
Don't worry I am sure she will be around this weekend to pick on you.

We are heading to 95 today and thats the coolest day for the next week. Monday 100 I am hoping to send that to you Greg.

Kathy, Kathy, Kathy, just the phrase "house dad or house wife" of 4 kids automatically implies that there is work involved and it's NOT always when I want to. Have you been away from it for so long that you've forgotten?

100 degree temps?....it'll never make it over the Rocky Mountains, so I'm fairly safe.

Oh boy how nice is it to look at everyone's pics and dream for a bit....
All of our back to school clothes shopping is done but we havent started picking out supplies yet. I despise supply shopping. Ill probably tell DP Im feeling and make her go with out me.

Were in the process of moving. On one hand I love to move. I can clean out old crap and trash but its stressful at the same time.
So, every little little bit I look up some CC pics or sit and read some disboards for a while.

I remember all too well. Now i enjoy seeing others rush and try to get through it each year. It's not too bad until you get teenage girsls, then LOOKOUT!!!


Dont count on those temps not making it over to you. Remember i do have a few connections with Mother Nature

Mom is doing good. Had a rought start to the day a couple days ago triggered by a blood test but an extra anxiety pill got her out of the bad spot her mind went to. So she is doing pretty darn good all things considerd. I just pray it stays that way until she passes away. I dont want to see her a vegetable like so many are where she is at.
But for now its all for our visits.

Heading to the state fair at the end of the month which should be fun and the dogs will go to the sitter for another day. It seems to be going pretty good there. Next month I will leave them over night to get them use to that before our vacation in December.

I don't have any kids, but I love love love school supply shopping. I usually just go to Wal Mart and buy a bunch to donate to local schools.

Woohoo! We got the rest of the school shopping done today.

It was really nice today...we only got up to 73 degrees. We're suppose to be up to 90 by next week.

Boy sure glad this week is over....this is our busy time believe it or not...all last minute school and sports physcials....

Welcome to Lindsey & Family:
My name is Denise and traveling with Wally, just the two of us....soooo looking forward to this trip. Traveled twice with the nana's.....great bunch of people...

Well Heather and her fiance' Ritch are both going to Virginia in October for a 6 week training class....so will be watching Izzy for thoes 6 weeks. I just signed her up in daycare after work today. It works out really well, the daycare facility and my building share the same parking lot. So if she gets sick, I'm right there. plus my doc's will take care of her while here, so she will get "special and fast treatment" while here. Looking forward to it, but at the same time, I know that shall I dare say, I'm getting a "little" older and I will most likely be totally exhausted....havent had to worry about a baby for awhile. But it will be fun and I wouldnt trade it for anything.

I cant believe we finally made page 100!!!! Now I have to start posting more and getting the "top" and keep up the nana count....wow, its getting closer...

Denise its actually page 102 You were away too long and we just zipped right ahead without you. I know once Izzy comes you'll have all kinds of time to post after work

Even if we cant make the cruise we hope to go to WDW for 3 or 4 day and if we do make it we still want to do WDW for a few days before the cruise, so anyone there we could at least meet up with. We are still hopefully but really wont know until the last 30 days for sure if we will make the cruise. So keep fingers crossed!!!

Heading to the beach for the day in 30 minutes to escape the HOT weather. 95 to 100 the next few days. All the hotels that allow the dogs are booked up already so it will just be a day trip. But thats ok, it will be fun.

Nope, not until 9-22-10 I leave for colorado for a few days....

Well my garage sale was a bustSet up in the hot sun, and hardly any people stopping by...to hot I guess. Next year I am going to be a shopper instead of a seller! Went to a cook out at my daughters tonight, was nice not to have to cook anything. Hope this humid weather breaks soon. Between the humidity, and hot flashes, I'm sweating so bad, I hope I lose weight!

Sorry to hear your sale was a bust. I know when it gets overly hot people dont go out as much and of course in this economy people are not spending as much.
At the Silverton Davenport festival we went to last weekend everyone on the main roads have sales and usually you cant even find aplace to park if you want to see what they are selling.
This year I didnt see one car parked at any of the sales we drove past to get to the park for the festival. I also didnt see anybody buying from the craft booths there and usually you can hardly see into them due to the people crowded around them.
I think its just a bad time for sales.

I think he must have dozed of again for his afternoon nappy poo and dreamed it. You know how unrealistic he gets when he doesnt get his meds on time, poor old fella. I guess thats what happens when you get old.

Lucky for him he has a wonderful, thoughtful, caring, devoted wife who is also a nurse to care for him.

Well, off for 2 days! DH is still gone! I need to clean house but i want to go on a shopping trip! I got to looking at the homemade FE gifts and got me in a creative mood!

Morning all,

well its cool this morning but heading for a possible 100 today.

I am heading out for a few groceries in just a few minutes and then will hibernate if I can. I do have some laundry washing, but luckily i use the dryer in the laundry room so it wont heat it up in here.

I am ready to pull my hair out. I have been checking my computer for the past few days to see if my grades have been posted . My professor is torchering us i think! I am ready to have the grades posted so i can do my happy dance . I know i at least have some kind of an A, just want to know if it is an A or an A-. If it is an A my GPA will stay pretty much the same but if it is in A- it will drop a little. I know this sounds crazy fretting over a little - at the back of my grade but....i have done so well i school i just want to finish strong!!!!

It doesnt sound crazy to me. I always went nuts waiting for my grades in college classes. Didnt care in high school that much but college classes were a lot different. I wish the teacher would just say to contact them at a certain date (like right after final tests) and they would tell you.
