What a palava, after 26 minutes of refresh refresh refresh, finally in. It was a choice of the first and final nights, so I took the final night as our two requested rotations has AP on the first night which I thought was preferable to the final night in dining rooms. Too much thought required for so early in the morning!

Did everyone get what they wanted?

I got logged out doing spa stuff and now have to wait 20 minutes. Nothing offered for brunch (sorry Judy) or tea and very few dinners left. Tried to get some at sea day treatments but seems like they are really early or really late. Anyone know what time the Oceaneer Club opens to drop off the kids?

I finally booked excursions for my Mom & Sister and I'm off to bed. I was REALLY hoping something would have opened up for a Palo dinner. Oh well, I guess that just means we need to book again while onboard.

I got a dinner at Palo, around 2 past midnight. There were NO brunch or tea reservations available at all! I went for the Key West night, but I don't know now...I guess now I have it to barter with on board.

Oh, and my sister (who lives in Clearwater) offered to drive us from the airport to the port and from the port to the airport last night! Of course, I added our transfers on FRIDAY! Does anyone know if you can cancel those without penalty?

You can cancel the transfers. I had to cancel one leg and add the other a few months ago...only thing I'm not sure about is what happens after the PIF date.

For both the TOT and FE, I will have two participants: DD(8) and DS(6). We are still in GTY status so I don't have my stateroom yet.

Do we need to bring candy for the TOT??

Great, I've got you down!

As far as the candy goes, the answer right now is no. I am buying candy, we have had some goodies sent to us by someone who was previously- but is no longer- cruising with us, plus if all goes well with the lanyards, and it is so far, there will be some overage there to buy more candy and treats with.

So the quick answer is I don't anticipate needing to, however I do need to get with Leslie and Ellen and merge our lists and see where we stand on number of participants, as it might be getting quite high.


I'm sorry everyone doing the Palo/Excursion ressie shuffle last night had trouble. I'm glad there were at least some nights to choose from. And hopefully onboard everybody can get everything straightened out to the day they want!

I'm curious-aside from the Villains menu- which we have seen posted in the thread recently, does anyone have or has seen any of the other menus? I found copies of them from 9/09 but that was quite a while ago..
I also saw a blog from a med cruise that had a whole lot of pics of menu items but can't find it now. So if anyone has seen that info recently, I'd love to see it! TIA!

Last May a family from England flew to Barcelona, and embarked on a 11 Day Mediterrean cruise. They had a category 12 but were upgraded to a category 6 which is a nice upgrade.

The dad video taped an incredible amount of their experience. We'll get to Italy and the Mediterrean one day, but in the interim this is a great series of videos posted to YouTube.

Sorry I have been MIA for a few weeks, I have been busy sorting out a DIS Girly Weekend on the UK Community, and we got back yesterday. It was lots of fun, but it took up a lot of my time, but thankfully I'm back now

Hi all
We are sailing with all of you on the 30th and have been following all of the great info from here on disboards. I would like to ask that you keep Janae in your thoughts and prayers. Janae is 4 yrs old and she is having a 3 hour surgery tomorrow at Childrens hospital in Columbus Ohio. Her mother Gina, who is on an insulin pump has been very stressed and her blood sugars have been all over the place worrying about Janae. I have been very worried about both of them. This cruise has helped in taking our minds off of what Janae
will be going through.
Janae is so anxious to get to the big boat (as she calls it) and to see Snow White. She is a bit obsessed with her and says she wants to be Snow White when she grows up.
We are all so excited about our cruise and all of you have added to our excitement. This is a wonderful place to come to for peace of mind. We can't wait to meet all of you.

Hello All! Have not posted for a while and did not realize we are on to a NEW second thread! Yay! Lots of catching up to do.

We will keep Jannae and Gina in our thoughts and prayers today and send good healing thoughts their way.

I am curious if anyone knows once PIF can you cancel your transfers to the port? My parents have now decided they want to head to Cocoa for 29th instead of staying at WDW with us. I am not sure if they can cancel the outbound transfer or not. As they announced new rates at WDW today I hate to bother my TA as I am sure she is quite busy. Also would love an idea of how they can get to Cocoa w/o renting a car.

Congrats to all who got their preferred excursions/Palo ressies. We have Palo for 4 on Day 2 at 7pm. I am hoping we can make it a tad later once we get on board.

Don't know for sure if we can help you out or not just yet, but it may be a possibility! We are in a Hotel just outside Universal Studios from the Tues to Thurs. and then are driving Thursday Morning, after checking out, to Cocoa Beach. Our plan is to actually spend the day at the Beach before checking into CI&S in PC. So we may be able to take them to Cocoa Beach on the 29th with us. At least there is definately enough room in the our van to accomodate two more passengers. Let me know if this transportation would be of help and then we can talk further.
