Oct 30 2010 7 Night Western (PART 2)

Thanks for the reminder I will get that check out in the mail ASAP.

Oops, I forgot too! It'll go out in the mail on Monday - provided I'm awake enough to remember - I'm staying up until midnight to try and get Palo ressies tonight! Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the reminder. I had read the PM but was at work (and since they record key strokes I don't like to use credit card info there), and then promptly forgot about sending the money when I got home.

Thanks all!!! :thumbsup2

Hi Jen,

I don't know if you included us in the lanyards as we were pretty late to sign up, but I haven't received any message from you? I am sorry if you thought we just hadn't paid. If it is not too late, could you pm me the details for payment? Thank you so much :)

Kristie, I'm sending you a PM! :)

Tuesday is my 40th birthday, so it would be really great if everyone else gave me a chance first :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Do they open more reservations at 75 days or should I just go to bed and forget about it?

:bday: Today is my DH's Birthday as well! I'm making him a Christmas Dinner for his Birthday Dinner!! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, gravy, and oh yes, Birthday Cake! It's POURING Cats and Dogs out today, off and on all Morning, but it seems quite festive in the house today!
I'm SOooo tired too, had a Family reunion last night with my moms side of the family for her cousins 50th Wedding Anniversary. Most everyone was from out of town. 2nd and 3rd Cousins that I haven't seen in over 20 years!!! DH didn't go, he stayed home with our younger kids. One guy last night, a friend of someone in the family, kept asking me to dance. That was fine, I enjoy dancing, though don't have the opportunity to do it much. Later in the evening, he was disappointed to discover I was married. DAH!!!! Isnt' the ring on my finger a clue????? (He had been asking relatives all about me, instead of me). I had a blast anyway. Our famiy should do this more often!! So wish DH could have come with me though, then the evening would have been perfect!

Morgansmom, I hope your day is as perfect as it can get for you, and I'm sending you some Pixie Dust:wizard: to help you get the ressies you hope to get! party:

Good luck to those who are staying up late/getting up early to book online at the 75 day mark.

I am reposting the online booking tutorial link in case you haven't seen it

Tuesday is Linda's b'day too! I have a class this week so I asked if I could make her b'day dinner today - she picked meatloaf, roasted red potatoes & corn on the cob - and then i made her red velvet cupcakes with clown toothpicks (she collects clowns) :)

Happy Birthday to Martyn! Today is my SIL's birthday, my nephew's was Friday, and I have sisters who are 364 days apart, at the end of August. We have lots of August birthdays!

Christmas dinner sounds great. We'll probably go out for my birthday, but I'm not sure where.

Thanks for the extra pixie dust!

OK. This is our first ever cruise. We are a family of four. We have received our room assignment and are gathering information about what to expect and what to take on our adventure.

What is FE? What is TOT? The laynards that I see with this thread are they specific to this board and these people? Do you purchase them here or on the boat? Door decorations?

Help a newbie out. I have read through a lot of the thread. You folks are really smart and have it together.

Can you catch a girl up?

FE is a Fish Extender. You can get a lot of information on the very first post of this thread. Basically, you join up with a meet group for your cruise. People participating hang a fish extender outside their door (a sort of fabric wall decoration with pockets). At various times, Disers who have joined up with the FE group hand out little gifts at each cabin. These things can be inexpensive, sometimes homemade, sometimes not.

TOT is trick or treat. DCL does one on Halloween, but this cruise meet thread is also organizing one for just our kids who sign up to do it. There should also be info about this on the first post.

The lanyards you see are unique to this group and this cruise. However, I believe the time to sign up to order them has passed, since the groups order needed to be in by a certain time in order to get delivery before our cruise.

Check out the first post. Most everything is there, but if you have any other questions, just ask! Everyone here is incredibly friendly and helpful! Welcome! :flower3:

I got dinner at Palo on our first cruise, it was a late time but, once on the ship I called and had it changed to an earlier time. If you see something just take it so you have something to trade with. They didn't have any brunch left but, I might've booked our excursions first and then I couldn't get on til 3am, I guess they changed the time. I think it was something like west coast was midnight and we were 3am. Not sure though. At least you just have to stay up til 12, I set my alarm for 11:50 this time, got up, made ressies and went right back to sleep.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hi! Make sure you PM disney-cruiser with your information so that you get on our roll call. This is a very active board with super people who offer some amazing advice. This is my first cruise too and it has been great fun to learn so much about things before we even board the ship.

Welcome!!! pirate:pirate:pirate:

Ugh, I have another yucky nights sleep, up at 5am again to book Palo for parents in law who I don't think would cope with the online booking system very well (it's either that, or get frantic telephone calls from them when they lose their way!) I don't mind really, just hope I can get back to sleep, Monday is my day off!

Good luck everyone, hope we all get what we want :wizard::wizard:
