Me, too! The blackout days got me. Maybe a Disney Visa offer will work for us.

The disney visa offer is the same I just checked im coming in on the 7th of dec so im bummed! ahh disney why do you have to hate me!!! Maybe they will release a magical FD pin for my week!! DEC 7-14 why is it that the 2nd week of dec has been excluded from the monster pin and the FD??? Im getting worried that its going to be busy!

I called twice and talked to 2 different CM and was told the same thing. I think its because only part of my trip falls within the dates.

My sister just called and got it and only part of her stay is covered. We are going the 22-31. She saved $1241.00...I'm on hold

Just added free dining to my November 30th vacation. Saved $1050. First time going to Disney that I ever got a discount. I am so excited

ok figuring this out......it should be cheaper to use this at a value and upgrade to deluxe dining than using a 20% pin, correct?

actually....we're cheaper keeping what I have according to the CM I talked to b/c w're arriving on 10/21. Even using a base ticket with no dining, it's about $90 cheaper.....so I'll think we'll keep what we have......what do you all think?

For those of you just missing the dates, keep in mind as long as you check in during the time covered, you can have it for the length of your stay.

If it starts a few days into your trip, you can do a split stay and do room only for a day or two, then move into the package. They will not guarantee that you don't have to change rooms, but they do try very hard to keep you there. We did that in 08 when we missed Disney Visa free dining by a day. We did room only the first night, then package starting the next day, and didn't have to change rooms.

I tried that and the cm said it would be alot more and not worth it. is he wrong? basically we are there 3 days before FD in dec then satying 5 days during FD you dont thing it would be way more? I should check disneys site huh? mprice it out

Pop Warner Week... but free dining was covered during that week last year as we went Dec 6 - 11.

Thanks for reading along on the Trip Report. The cabins were part of the Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim. It was really cool. We've also stayed at the lodges in Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon and Zion before. They are all very cool!

That's basically what I got, but it's only 1 day off.....BUT the PIN I have is worth more than FD!

Our first time to CSR. Us, my sisters family and my parents the 22-26, then we're meeting up with our neighbors across the street for the last 5 days, and F&WF. Can't wait! Not sure about CSR but we won't be in our room much, too many photos to take!!!

We did a one night stay at CSR a couple years ago. It's nice but HUGE! I'd ask for a room close to the lobby (and restaurants) if you want quick access. There are bus stops at various spots around the outside rim of the parking lot. We were a LONG way from the pool, but you can also hop the bus from one stop to another to get there.

I considered a moderate for the full service free dining, but just need to keep it as cheap as possible, so I stayed with POP and upgraded the dining. Still a decent amount less than a moderate. And the POP just seems so festive all the time..... My only gripe is how FAR the bus stop is away from the MK gates!

We won't be in our room much either. We're doing MVMCP twice. Are you doing MNSSHP?

Me too...these are my dates too! I am worried now that it will be crowded! will they come out with another discount for this week at some point?

You know... that is Pop Warner week, and they stay at Port Orleans and All-Stars I think....... all of which would be very popular with the free dining crowd. I think these dates are based on resort room availability, which does not necessarily translate into park traffic.

Is anybody else having problems getting any resort to show up? I have searched two different dates and keep getting "there is no availablity". I know every room at WDW can't be full!
