We're awaiting word from the agency as to when we'll get to travel. It's conceivable that we would travel really soon and either be home in time for Christmas or spend Christmas in Vietnam. Only time will tell. Needless to say our family (and my BFF Trina) are beyond excited!!! We'll keep you all informed. In the meantime, if you don't hear from me, don't panic. We should hear today from the adoption agency something about traveling. We're bouncing off the walls around here (although not as much yesterday cause well, we're brusing from all the bouncing 
). We're praying for a Christmas baby but truthfully, at this point, our largest obstacle standing in our way is no longer in front of us so we're going to use the time between now and then to get ready. Lots to do. Our home looks terrible. LOL Tons of things to clean up, pack up to storage, nursery to finish, etc. It'll definitely keep us busy. As soon as I know more I'll share. As I told a friend of mine yesterday (who called me 3 times wanting updates) this is the timeframe of the adoption where things move, they move quickly, you're going crazy and you need to do everything all at once. It's why we sleep as much as we do on the extremely long plane ride to Vietnam. 
We'll share beforehand and then we'll share the final info after we get back (we took 6mo. clothes for Lil cause we were told a specific size and we got there to realize we really could have taken newborn to 3mo. size clothes; after all she was only 3-1/2 mos.

This is my goal every year, but it never happens. I always end up staying up until 3am on Christmas Eve wrapping and then I'm exausted Christmas morning and I look like...you know what in the Christmas video. So, I am so happy this year that it is done! Knee deep in high school drama with Ashley, ughh teenagers. It's been really foggy here in the mornings, so I've been telling the girls that we are going to have a white Christmas. First and foremost, in answer about kids being smaller than here, yes that is the norm in Vietnam. HOWEVER, at 4 months Katelin was a whopping 16 lbs. Therefore, there's nothing "small" about her. We're awaiting info from the agency as to her updated height and weight. Now, as for the real update. We talked with our agency today. We should receive any day our letter to get refingerprinted. As soon as that letter arrives we're headed to get refingerprinted. We will travel about 7-10 days later. Also at the refingerprinting time we will send for our Visa's and we have scheduled next Tuesday our travel meeting (which takes about 2 hours). Lots of info will be packed into that meeting. It'll be crazy but fun. So, what does this all mean? Well, it basically means it's looking very much like we'll be in Vietnam for Christmas. And, depending on the timeframe of things, we could be either in Vietnam for New Years as well OR we'll be flying home during New Years which could be interesting as we may see different countries celebrating the New Year. Wouldn't that be cool. One way or the other, the next three weeks are going to be EXTREMELY crazy but this is the kind of crazy I love! Thanks for your support and prayers! It is much appreciated. Me
I checked about the fuel surcharge with my agent at AAA and she said she inquired with Disney and awaiting their response. I told her if I go book right now it's about $200 difference from my price. So I basically said I want a price adjustment, we'll see. She just said don't rebook cause I would screw everything up that I already have set up. I definately don't wanna do that cause I have an on board $150 credit from booking through AAA. Deep down your thinking..I'll wait till I get to the port and see how crazy this group is behaving then I will reveal myself if they seem normal. Well no hope of that cause we are a crazy bunch. 
You would think I would know this from reading every post there is, but I do seem to forget...help!!! I wanted to let you know that we received Katelin's height and weight info. Today she is 17.6 lbs. and she's 2.23 ft. I've been checking out baby clothing and that seems to be right on target for 6-9 months clothing. So she seems to be just where she's supposed to be. We're siked. Now if our refingerprinting letter would arrive we'd be extremely happy. I'll share more as I get news. Take care and have a GREAT day. Until later! Me
