Dh and I were both born in Pgh, our families would have heart attacks if we cheered for Cleveland. my son is a brain washed Steeler fan too, besides we have so much fun harassing the Browns fans.
I had 2 different people on our last cruise say if you would have had on your Steeler jersey I would have recognized you instantly. I have to download my new avatar...white jerseys.

Dans Dogs? yep, I have only been there once, my kids have been there a few times. it is right near my kids school. if you ever are in town, let me know.

It sounds like the DH's can have their own meet at the bar watching football. My DH and DBr will be there, I'm sure! It's funny though, I don't think anyone of them will be rooting for the same team. My DH is Raiders and my DB is 49rs and Patriots, he was raised in CA and now lives in Mass. My DH is also really into college football. He missed our last sail away party because Ohio state was playing Mich. and he's a HUGE Ohio State fan.

I'm open to just about anything for the FE plan, just let me know what to do! I was laying in bed last night trying to think of something that would represent where my family is from, and be fun to get, and I came up with two things so now I'm really excited!

Darrell will be hoping to see the Penn State game the day we board. We got lucky on our last cruise and he was able to see part of it on the state room tv before dinner.

Hi. My family just got off the Magic yesterday and while onboard rebooked for next year so we will be joining you!!! It will be me (Mindi), my DH (Marty) and DS 9 then and DD 4 then.

We will also participate in the FE exchange if you'll let us. We have already been thinking of what to start looking out for!!!

Hi Mindi, Nice to have you join us!!! Of course you can join our fish extender group. It's gonna be a blast!! I have the kids all set for things I'm going to give them. I just gotta figure out what I am doing for the adults. I still have time to think. Do you know what your room number is? Most of us seem to be on decks 6 and 7.

My h (I wont refer to him as dh when we are talking about football ) is hoping to catch a Giants game.

Welcome Mindi!!! I am so excited that most of our kids are in the same range. Alot in the 4/5-9/10 range. I think it will be nice for them to meet the 1st or 2nd day and hangin out in the club together, how nice for them. It's always nice to go when you have a friendly face to get to know better.

Robin.... i am with your husband, go Giants. I like the Browns of course cause we are Ohioans, but I used to play fantasy football w/my DH and his friends and I had Eli Manning as my quarterback so I love rootin for him!! =)

I have to tell you, I was excited for our 2 other Disney cruises but I am so excited for this one just by being on this thread. I didn't do a thread the last times but the FE sounds so fun. Trying to find fun things...somethng different!

My DH will be checking the Navigator to see when BASEBALL will be on. He is a huge baseball/Red Sox fan. This year they had some of the games on the Ariel TV above the pool and some in Diversions. Looks like we have alot of sports fans on this board!

Hi Everyone,

Like Mindi, my family just got off the Magic yesterday. We also rebooked for next year. It will be myself (42), DH Phil (40), DS Patrick (14 when we sail) and DS Payton (11 when we sail). We are in cabin 6022 and have requested main dining. This will be our 3rd cruise. I also would love to take part in the FE gift exchange. It was so much fun on this trip.

I am a 4th grade teacher. We live in Huntsville, AL. I am keeping my fingers crossed that our fall break will not be taken away. If it is, then we will have to change our sailing date. Keep sending pixie dust our way.

Mindi, I love your new photos. They turned out so well. When we got home last night, a pipe had burst in my children's bathroom. I have major water damage in 1/2 of the first floor of our house. It is awful!!!

Welcome to all our new friends! We're glad you joined us. My DH will be just as thrilled to learn he has lots of guys that love sports just as much as he does. My DD Lilli and I are planning on starting our chain this week. For those of you who don't remember (or don't know) we weren't going to do a chain because we were going to move. Now the move can't happen (which is fine) cause we're adopting so we're back to doing the chain. My in-laws have all of my scrapbooking items so they will return them to me this weekend when I see them and I will have the materials needed at that point. My BFF has the cutest little chain that she's started for the trip and she's already made a chain for the adoption. What a hoot. So we need to catch up.

I'm hoping to get some of our gifts for the FE in Vietnam. After all, that is a HUGE part of our family. We did something similar on our last cruise and it was very unique and we had so many comments on it. What will be neat this time is it will come directly from Vietnam and not be something bought here.

Welcome to our new cruisers! I'll try not to mention how jelous I am that you both just got off the Magic. Well, it looks like we are finally getting some boys added to the group. For awhile there I thought it was going to be mostly girls. Of course I didn't help with my 3 all being girls!
Gena, it looks like we are the only ones with teenagers so far. Did your son go into the stack on the cruise you just got off of? If so, how did he like it? This will be my oldest DD's first time going in there. She will be 15 on the cruise.

Andrea-I know that Lizardmans first name is Ryan. I am not sure what his kids names are. I know this because I looked at his pictures he had posted of Disney and it said Ryans pictures on his website.

Kiddo's names are Thomas and Taylor. My mom, Marilyn and aunt, Sandy will also be going with us so we will have 2 staterooms. I just transferred our booking to our travel agent today and she is working on getting our cabin numbers. We have ours that were assigned onboard but they may change so I'll post when I get those.

My husband is a little sad right now after the Red Sox game. Oh well, at least we got our pictures last week. We are going to use them on our Christmas cards.

Wlecome everyone!!! Happy to have y'all joining us!!!! Mindi, I have a Taylor also, but she will be turning 10 at the time of the cruise.

My dh is more into hunting and fishing than he is sports, but I am sure he will want to hang with the guys and drink.

I cant beleive we are under a year!! I want to start making my chain now and begin pulling it apart on New Years day.
