Hi everyone! No I haven't fallen off the planet. No we haven't gotten the baby yet. Yes I am going completely insane right about now!
First and foremost, welcome to all our new friends! We're thrilled to have you here with us Disney Dreamers.
To quickly cap what's going on, we're still waiting for word that we can travel. It could be weeks or even months. We're praying that maybe in a month or two (max) we go. In the meantime, we're busy getting the house ready for a new baby (we can't sell the house now until the adoption is over), we're dealing with all the extra adoption stuff that comes along, we're doing the parent thing with our DD (who will be 7 on the cruise and her name is Lilli), I'm involved in an ensemble that sings at nursing homes and other churches for special events so I'm busy with that, I'm in my church choir and learning about 10 songs this season, and up until this morning I was also involved in a special church event singing with 5 other churches about 16 songs. This morning I broke down and pulled out of that. Now, on top of all that, I've got my normal work schedule which, unfortunately, has been so busy I've had to somehow find time to do overtime. I'm pulling all the hairs out of my head at this moment.
My BFF (Schmoopie) has been busy with all her responsibilities plus she's putting a baby shower together for me (it's not a surprise) so she's swamped and hasn't had a chance to get online either.
We've been busy getting the last of our travel immunizations done, and I could go on.
So yes I'm still alive (barely). I was so surprised to see how the thread has grown. When last I read anything it was on page 14 and now we're on page 17 (the way my system shows it to me). WOW!
Yes I know I haven't put pictures up. One day I will get to that.
As for some of the other questions regarding the group, I don't remember who had the idea for the ship coming outta the clouds for part of the logo but we're on the same page.
Yes I think it'd be great for us all to have a logo that we can iron on to shirts and wear them on boarding day to meet each other. So many groups now wear the mardi gras beads and this makes us unique and stand out.
Yes I agree there should be a deadline for the fish extender idea. I think we should wait and see how many kids are involved when we get much closer to decide whether to do a family gift or just focus on the kids. I'm cool with either. I think it'd be cool to give something that represents you, your family, where you live, etc.
I'm planning on trying to find some cute things while over in Vietnam.
I think that's it for now.
I will get back to you (hopefully sooner this time than before). I know this craziness is for a season and that once I get through the next few weeks things will hopefully calm down a bit. Please know I think of you all often and am dreaming (in a HUGE way) of our cruise!

can't believe we are almost at a year to go!!!!
. Those of you that have two, or more, children know what I'm saying. OK, I'm sure things will settle a little because of the hoops you are jumping through right now. But, while it will settle in one way, it will pick up pace in another. Keep us posted on your travel plans, we are all very excited for you! I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
. I am thinking more will join us, but for now that is where it stands.
