Welcome WiseOldOwl! Where is TN are you? My parents live there (they moved out there when my dad retired). They are in Erwin, or is it Irwin? Near Johnson City. My oldest DD will be 15 on the cruise. Is yours 14 now or will she be 14 on the cruise?
Michelle--you are getting very picture happy aren't you? I love them all! I wish I could do that.
Well, we should be getting our fridge today , so I get to go on a major grocery shopping trip on Christmas Eve, yippee.

Thanks Gina....U must have had the same ideas as Mindi, cause that is why i made the web page...on the FE page it says everyone I know to be participating..who's in that room and any known allergies at this point. I figure it's nice to know NOW while making your FE's and not at the port when everyone is done. So everyone can go on and print that page. I like knowing now cause (ex-dolphingirl47) is allergic to bananas and hubby to chocolate..i mean now that I know that I will make sure I replace any chocolate for something else for Graham. Our cut-off day will be in July(listed on web page). I thiink by then most should have found us.!

There is also a page with everyones cabins, people's names...well at least all who have shared..lol So if U can think of any info that we still need to know let me know and I can add it. Have U checked out our web page?? If not the link will be in my signature or on our first page.

Gina and I along with Kim were on the same cruise last year! We had so much fun we thought we'd try it again.

I have been away for a while so I am making up for it today! December has been SO busy for me. I just tried to pack way too much into one month! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.

I need to figure out how to get motivated to get back to the gym now that Christmas is over! I need to do a weight loss challenge.

Mindi...I think there are a few of us wanting to shed a few pounds......I have said after New Years, just not sure how i am gonna get motivated! It's hard for me to get into it when it's so cold here...can't get out and walk or at least I refuse...

Mindi--I've been motivated the last couple of weeks. I've been going to the gym three days a week, I just hope I can stay motivated over the long run. I would like to lose 25 pounds, I would be happy with 15. We'll see

Hello, all, and belated Merry Christmas!!! We checked in earlier, I think, but now are ready to get disboard-active!!! I'm Jamie, the mom, and I'm cruising with DH (old), DD (14) - I think I put 15 in the previous post, and DS (11). We've done the western before but are excited to do it again!!!

Need to vent!

Southwest just opened up bookings til May. I have been checking all day. I went to book flights to Florida for Spring Break with our Rapid Rewards and NO FLIGHTS from Nashville to FL for our dates that we can use our Rapid Rewards. I checked every city except Jacksonville. BUT I can get 4 tickets to San Diego for our dates. We can fly across the country but not to FL. I know it's a big spring break time but nothing available the first day the dates are open!

Just needed to vent. Maybe I can get a Disneyland trip out of this. We were just going to beach. Using hotel and air points to do a cheap trip and save for the cruise.

Just wanted to give you an update. Rechecked today and guess what, I was able to get 4 reward round trip non-stop flights!

Yes, those are the kids' ages at cruise time, and DH is Alan, DS is Cale, and DD is Allie. We are in Stateroom 6060. And I don't think I want on the FE list or the Secret Mickey list at this time. thanks!

I hope that you all had a great Christmas. Although it was a little smaller this year, atleast we have a cruise to look forward to this year.

I feel like I'm so far behind. I haven't gotten anything for the cruise. Don't worry Andrea, I think that I'm going to finsh up the Magnets this weekend and I will print and send them out next week.....

Laura --It was smaller for the girls this yr but honestly they didn't notice as long as they got the one thing they most wanted. I also told them that taking a cruise and wanting to do MNSSHP meant givin up things and they love the cruise so much and the quality time with us, plus they aren't materialistic kinda girls. Which makes it easier. When we go shopping and they want something that they really don't need I say "DC or that?" They usually say DC. Now they have friends that want it all. Glad I don't have them....LOL

FYI---just for everyone to know...I changed the web page a bit..providing info in Microexcel grid format. Please check it out and if anything is wrong please let me know. I have everything ya need to know in it I think. If you are not doing FE and I don't have that in there let me know, if you know ur dining and I don't have it tell me. We have main dining for the time being, but are thinking we're going to change to late, so that info is TBA. We actually prefer late, but peer pressure has made us change to main for the last few cruises. We will be cruising with a large group of people from our town that we know. It usually ends up being a group of 70 or so....

Jamie--wow that is alot of people to know on the boat..Friends of ours live in Nashville...how far are u from there? .I am glad you like the web page. I especially like the photos of everyone. Not only will wearing the logo lanyard make us recognize each other but our family photos as well. Making us feel at the port we have so many friends enjoying the experience as we do.

Kristi, Welcome home! I have been throughly enjoying following your journey daily. My DD(almost 5) Nelia has loved seeing all the photos. She would say to me daily.."Mom, do we have new pictures of baby Katelin and her big sis Lilli" it was cute. She would make me click on everyone to blow them up bigger! I am so glad you now have Katelin and ur home safe. Can't wait to meet ur completed family onboard!

Welcome home Kristi! I'm so happy for your family! I'm glad you guys made it back safe and sound.

In two more days we will be able to say we are going on a cruise THIS year instead of saying we are going on a cruise next year. Which makes me freak out even more about how we are going to pay for it!

Well, we will be driving back from Reno tomorrow, so I don't know if I will be able to get on to say
