I have never seen these. I have seen crocs with some heel but they looked like shoes you wear to the pool. These look nice.

This particular style seems to be an European exclusive. They look even nicer in real life and come in 4 different colours.
Well I started on the kids FE stuff last night, and man is it time consuming. I only got 17 done and I worked on them for over an hour. I'm hoping to get them finished by today or tomorrow.
Everyone say a little prayer for Amaya, she is home sick today. And pray that it doesn't spread through their house. (Minfan55) I think she has what went through our house a couple of weekends ago. If it is it shouldn't last too long. Terri, since your staying home today you can get your FE's done.
Ashley has her permit test today...Hopefully she passes because I don't want to have to go back to the DMV next week.
Well, off to work on kids FE's...have a great day!
Andrea
I hope that Amaya feels better soon and that she does not pass on whatever bug she caught to the rest of the family.
Hi Corinna
Thanks for the advice I spoke Virgin today. We have booked both flights car hire and hotel for after the cruise with them. The girl I spoke to said we would need to phone BA and check with them as to there luggage allowance. Phoned them really nice lady said why are you phoning it should be your travel agent or who you booked with who contacts us about the booking. She then confirmed that virgin had not booked connecting flights and if we want to take an extra case each we would have to pay about £120.00we only did connecting to try and save a bit of money. She advised me to call back Virgin and see if they will pay it but by the time I got a chance to phone them the dept I needed to speak to was closed. Will need to phone again tomorrow I want to get it sorted now. We have more luggage than normal with the extra clothes for formal and semi formal nights might have to borrow clothes from other cruisers lol.
The shoes you got are lovely they look so comfy.
Thanks again for your help
Judith
I figured that this is probably what had happened. This is really naughty. Believe you me, the luggage issue might well be the least of your worries. I hope that you have a nice long layover. Are you going via Gatwick? The reason why I ask about the layover is that if your domestic flights are on the same ticket as the international flights, then you are covered as far as delays and cancellations of the domestic flights are concerned and any knock on effect this might have regarding catching your international flight. Essentially if anything goes wrong with your flight and you end up missing your international flight, they have to get you to your destination as quick as possible and have to provide you with meals if you are delayed by more than 4 hours and with accommodation if you are delayed by more than 8 hours. If the domestic flights are issued on a separate ticket and something goes wrong, you are essentially on your own. Virgin knows this. This just makes me so cross. I really expected better of Virgin.
Well, my day has gone from bad to worse. It all started when I got to work and found out that our call recording software has yet again gone up the creek. This is the last month of the quarter as far as the quarterly bonus is concerned, which will be paid out in October. We have until October 7th to hand this in for our teams, but of course I will be at Cozumel that day. So I agreed with my boss that I will hand it in on September 29th and just use data up to September 28th. A large part of the scheme is call quality and I have to monitor 10 calls for each of my 15 team members. For that I get 2 days each month (or that's the plan anyway). In July, I had my days of the floor and the system that we use was down. Not a problem, I had to do some one to ones anyway and there were a number of meetings that I had to schedule. In August my days were re-scheduled due to staff shortages and the new dates were in September. So I finally had my days off the floor and 3 out of 4 days were taken up for the most part with One to Ones, appraisals and meetings. I finally had a whole day to do my call monitoring only to be told half way through that our quality officer had not realised that I was down to monitor calls that day and the engineer was in to fix some bugs on the call recording system. They had to take it down. Unfortunately it still has not come back up. Somehow I managed to do all but the calls of one team member. Eternal optimist that I am, I figured: No problem, I still have two hours off the floor on Tuesday. I do life call monitoring then for the last few calls. Then I read my emails and the person in question had a family emergency and had to go back home on very short notice and won't be back until I am already on vacation

The rest of the day ticked along quite nicely and I was looking forward to getting home, have a Pear Cider, put Angels and Demons on and work on my FE gifts. All seemed to go well until one of my new staff picked a call up with 30 minutes to go where a customer was upset that their seating had been changed. They somehow managed to allocate themselves bassinet positions even though they have no infant and then got upset because they were moved when the seating was needed for a family with infants. Once I realized that my team member had a hard time with the customer and it was home time, I took over the call. The customers argued with me for a further hour. We don't get paid overtime either.
I had forgotten my cellphone at home and DH is away on business. When I got home, I was just about to ring him when I saw that he had texted me 15 minutes earlier that he was heading for bed. So I did not want to risk waking him up.
So instead I head on here and realize that the Panama Canal Cruise that we had set our heart on is just more expensive then what we are willing to pay. Not only that, but the other possible cruises are silly prices as well apart from the Transatlantics, but after doing two of those in 2010, I don't think we need to do another one in 2011. Where is that banging your head against the wall smiley when you need it?
Not all was bad though. DH's embarkation t shirt arrived today in record time. I suddenly got a text at 1:00 am from DH that he cannot sleep. As I am in the same position, I gave him a call back straight away. We both decided that the Panama Canal Cruise is really not an option, but we are now considering doing a back to back Caribbean Cruise over our 13th anniversary in 2011. We should have enough DVC points to pay for one cruise on points and will pay for the other. DH has also promised me that if we are on the Magic on our 13th anniversary (we got married on a Friday 13th), we will renew our wedding vows. That is definitely something to look forward to. So I suppose all is well that ends well.
