omg omg omg. It's 8 and I have packed a pirate costume for myself and I leave tomorrow at 7 am. AHHHHH Can't wait to meet you all. And yes you missed a good chat. MY DH from Iraq joined in to say hi and sidh freaky dirt on me, LOL. I will be the one people will be looking at weird when we meet. LOL. Safe trips for all see you guys soon!

yikes is all i can say!!!! omg....i can't believe it's 11:30 pm, and i have tie dyed shirts all over...we made some already, but i really wasn't too happy with them...so trying it again!! guess if they don't work out this time, we won't be wearing them. i found out today from my contractor that they will really be ripping all my walls down while we are gone...happy, yet scared to death!! i won't be here to deal with the mess... but i also won't be able to see the progress, or give my input. hope he took real good notes, and everything is done like i wanted it. we weren't sure if he was reallly going to do it, so i hadn't packed anything up in the house...well, tonite, we had to totally remove everything from 6 rooms...living room included! what a total pain in the butt!!! and to think i'm not totally packed yet...i planned to have the van loaded, but it didn't happen...oh well, i'll have the time that the kids are in school to figure it out! nothing like cutting it close!!! after we pick them up from school, we are supposed to hit the road...hope i'm ready!!!!

guess this is gonna be all i type til we meet.....can't wait to finally meet you all!!!! get there safely....see you soon!!!!!!!!

You mean there are WEIGHT LIMITS for LUGGAGE?!?!?!?!

Didn't you know? (about the weight limits?) They lowered the weight limit to 50# per bag. With the larger suitcases you really have to be careful! If it's over, they will charge you a fee for overweight bags. I know Northwest weighs 'em, and WILL charge you. Of course they give you the option of unpacking and rearranging your suitcases right then and there . I did get my girls hair braided and beaded already. I won't be hearing all the vendors calling out to me to have the hair braided!

we are checked into the hotel awaiting our early morning flight!! only a few more hours, and we will be in sunny orlando...at least i hope it's sunny!!!

well we finally made it to our hotel. LUCKY shannon has the penthouse. i believe i got the ghetto...lol...we got here it looked nice....looks like a mountain lodge in the lobby. well got up stairs to our room and the air condition cover was falling off.. so naturally i went to fix it,...well the whole freaking thing feel....anyway it works..lol. ok then we try to close the drapes...not that did not happen either. only the sheers close..what purpose does that serve? so we pulled the drapes together and pushed the chair up on it. i just have to be carefull not to run around topless ..anyway we made it. i am going to start a trip report if anyone wants to join it. see ya sunday!!

Welcome to all that have arrived in Orlando - and safe trip to all enroute or coming later in the week.

Went to the pool today; confirmed our cruise info at the hotel; meeting up with some DISers for MNSSHP tonite; Just got our in-room internet connection to work.

And I almost forgot; Got a call from DCL today - Wenches Only Pirate Parley dessert is set for after lunch - 12:30 @ Tritons. Nthing elaborate, just some cake...Be there or be square...

Note to self: Check ALL ARDs prior to leaving. Went to Hoop-dee-doo last night only to find out our ressie was for 11/26/06 - and last night was sold out. DH said he was going to re-enact the guys birth and pull him through the little hole in the glass they talk through; Guess that's why it's small...

We just stumbled across this website...a bit too late for this cruise but I have a last minute question if anyone is still out there that has traveld before.

We are traveling with out 16 month old son. We have a Deluxe Family w/Varandah. Is there a plexi covering over the rails or is the varandah a good place for him to avoid??

Don't want him or his precious (anything in his hands) toys or Lumpy washed to sea.

TOT is during the buggers naptime OH WELL! Daylight savings is assuring that we are all screwed up for dining and everything else. Oh well... we will see how all that works out?!
