Oct. 29th 2006 Halloween anyone?

HI everyone, we arrived to Tampa yesterday, the worst flight ive ever been on in my life. I was sick the whole time on the plane as was my DD for most of it. The turbulance was TERRIBLE to say it nicely.. Anywho.. we arrived.. and are now getting ready to head out to Orlando for some shopping, then to Coco Beach to meet up with a friend for dinner. Then to our hotel room to get checked in.. and HOPEFULLY to the radison to meet our fellow CRUISERS!!! If we miss you guys, we will for sure be there sunday at the meet at 1!! so until then!!

Hello to all - Met up with Denn & Cammie at MNSSHP last night - did the TOT thing. Watched the parade twice. Oddly though Snow White followed us everywhere we went (see photos)

I cant believe, here I sit, at the hotel.. with the Disney Ship nearly 5 min ride away!! We have been waitting for this day it seems like forever. I feel like a lil kid on Christmas morning!!

Stephanieann, tink, Rosemary, Bethany, it was so nice to meet you all tonight, although it was short!! THought we were going to party it up tonight girls?!?!?! That is ok we have how many days ahread of us on the Ship?? Not enough!!!

We were going to rent a car in order to get to the port early - but, since we have whatever ressies we need, we'll hop the bus and spend the extra cha-ching on me

All I gotta do now is run it by DH

p.s. James' surgery is 1-/31/06 at NOON.. we have to be up there for 9:30 to get his I.V started and then down to pre-op for factor and wait an hour before surgery..

Ok, I made it home and now I need a vacation from my vacation. Nice 54 degrees here. Was told it was 72 yesterday, go figure. I had a blast meeting you all. To Jim and Kerri, thank you guys for the great adult company. Trey and Emma are great. We will definately be keeping in touch. I swear I did laundry before I left. I had to pay extra for my bag. LOL it was 61lbs. Only allowed 50 I guess. I payed the 25 bucks. She asked me( with a straight face) if I wanted to put anything in Cammies like she had ANY kind of room. Her bag was bloated( lets not forget the 5lbs of candy in there. LOL again, it was great!!!

Glad you got home safe - sorry about the weather (LOL) had to set the AC in our AKL room down a couple of more notches! Right now we're watching a couple of giraffes meander by our verandah. We're here until next Monday, then home. And thanks for the company Trey and Emmie say HI to Cammie and thanks for hanging around with us! Send a hello to Snow White as well.

Here's some pix from 10/30; went on the Dolphin Excursion with Denn & Cammie (yep, in the rain) and DCL handed out ponchos - is it me or does handing a person a poncho who is in a bathing suit, getting ready to jump in the Caribbean a little silly(LOL)? And of course it was late in returning, so I missed my hair, manicure and pedicure appointments; but, the vow renewal went off, not exactly as planned but DCL didn't miss a beat. Originally scheduled for the "patio area" on deck 7 - it was moved to the Cadillac Lounge due to weather.

All the DCL people were great - especially Rodrigo Padilla, the ship's events coordinator. He was absolutely stellar. He got the Captain on his mark exactly on time and things sailed along. Captain Andersson was a very kind and sincere gentleman, especially with his remarks during and candidly after the ceremony. No pix from the ceremony yet as they are hard copies and I'll need to scan when we get home. But the lounge was transformed into a wedding chapel, right down to he rose pedals on the floor - a little like something Elvis would have liked.

Also met two guys you may have seen around the ship...

Anyway - glad to see our group slowly making it home safe one by one. We had a great time meeting you all and hope to keep in touch. Did anyone book a cruise while on board? We hit Cindy's Royal Table b'fast in the AM. TOT pix to follow, maybe tomorrow.

Hi everyone, Just a quick note. Were still in Tampa visiting family. So this will be short. It was GREAT meeting everyone. Wish we had more time.. it went by so quickly, and I was having a major problem with sea sickness in the evening, so I was in the cabin more then I thought I would of been. Anywho. IT was WONDERFUL!! Talk with ya'all when I get back home Sunday!!

Our son had that problem as well - he said he felt "woozy" (LOL) Ya gotta luv it - anyway we got the sea bands and had him wear one, although they come as a pair and it worked great.

Wow, this looks like great fun!! Is there some place I can see more pictures, I am thinking of taking my daughter and my niece on this cruise next year (none of us has ever been on a cruise before)

Hey folks, we were late to join this group but had a WONDERful time and are looking forward to crusin' the med next June! YIPPIE! Anywho, we keep a blog for our son (17 months old) and have posted out cruise pictures there. Check it out if you like!
