DH and I fly out in a few hours! Good luck to everyone going on vacation now...or in the next few days!

Yay!! Happy birthday to me. I've written down a list of DISers to look for- although I'm a little shy about approaching people.

I slept in curlers last night so now I have a big curly ponytail just like Wendy's! I'm going to look a bit silly in street clothes at Epcot this afternoon though. hehehe.

You looked absolutely adorable as Wendy!!!!!!!!!! Did you catch us on the double decker bus as Grand Marshalls? I never did find the two way radio, no one turned it in yet.

We'll be there too - Dh, Me as Minnie, DS8 as Capt Jack and DS10 as Tick Tock the Croc ( last minute change - boy am I glad that is settled! ). We'll be with a family of 4 WDW newbies - not sure what they'll be except for DS5 - Johnny Storm Flame Guy.

Was that you guys that waved at me outside of CP on Thursday night? I was so excited to go sit down, that I didn't get to come off the porch to say Hello, but I know the person waving at me was wearing Minnie mouse LOL.

We will be there. Our cast is DH, DMIL, DD 3, DD 5, and myself. The adults are wearing navy Pulaski Academy t-shirts and the girls Bruin cheerleading uniforms(navy and gold). We have a school pride theme. I will be on the lookout for other DISers. I will have the Home Depot Mickey's hanging from my backpack.

I wish I would have written this down, because we saw you guys at least 3 times that night, but I didn't realize you were Dis'ers, I just noticed the Pulaski Academy shirts and the cheerleaders.


Where were you guys staying?

I did not see anyone that I was sure was a DISer. Although I did see DISFAMILY's stroller outside the Princess Storybook Breakfast 10/21.

We stayed @ POR 10/14 and Old Key West 10/15-21. What about you?

we missed this post, since we were already on our way to WDW. We were at the MNSSHP on the 20th. My DS (5) was a bellhop from the Tower of Terror, my DD (8) was Jasmine, my DW (I wouldn't dare) was Princess Fiona, and I was Donkey. My wife and I wore MNSSHP T-shirts. We did meet SusanOntario, MaryLiz, Magic Kingdom and SteamboatMarty

Hi Elgerber! That was fun running up to you. I can't believe I had the guts to do that- run up to and annouce "Who here is from the DIS??" I'm actually really shy.

I wrote down who was supposed to be there, but it was too hard to remember what was on the list...I did see someone in an inflatable circus costume...

I saw an adult Lilo with someone who seemed to be in fisherman's gear but I didn't get a good look. There were just way to many pirates to pick out any of you dressed as pirates.

I also met mythreeprinces who was standing in line behind us for Aladdin characters and saw my button. Otherwise I did not knowingly see other DISers.

Wendy was a more common costume than I figured. I saw at least 4 others. I carried around an American girl doll dressed as Tink. Chris and I got some great pics. I insisted on going up to Smee and Hook, and to my delight they totally played it up for the pic. Hook pretended to take me hostage! I love this year's parade and got lots of happy birthdays from my birthday button plus had the fun of being recognized by people I work with.

We had a mix up for dinner though- we got there for our 6:05 ressies and they told us we didn't have ressies for the castle but for Norway! We had originally wanted Norway for lunch but they had told us they were full! They said we could still run to Epcot if we wanted to...riiiight...we were there for the party! Thankfully, they had a table available- the table for 2 right in the center of the windows. Chris had to call and make sure Norway didn't charge him for not showing up though. I got a magical moment certificate for having my birthday at the castle, but the waitress didn't bother getting my name and in that blank, wrote only "princess."

I just can't top my Poppins costume from last year though- man I missed the attention I got with that!

That was us! Just returned back to MN early morning yesterday. Looks like we really lucked out with the weather in Orlando.

Now, we need a vacation from a vacation!
