We sailed on the Magic on October 5th. The week before the Magic was diverted due to a hurricaine, and the week after they ran into bad weather. I think the Mickey Gods were shining on our cruise as we had incredibly beautiful weather. I think Hurricaine season ends in November, so there is always a chance, but the Captain will try his best to find the sun and stay in it. Just be able to go with the flow should your ports of call change.
Although Hurricane Season runs from 6/1 to 11/30, the peak of the season tends to be from mid-August to mid-October. That being said, there was a storm in November last year that ran past the end of the official season into the first few days of December. But your odds aren't bad. You <b><i>probably</i></b> won't have a problem with October 20.
