Oct. 2003 Cruise How is the weather

Okay I am thinking of going during Oct. Around the 20th. How is the weather? Do I have to really worry about hurricanes.

We sailed on the Magic on October 5th. Ths week before the Magice was diverted due to a hurricaine, and the week after they ran into bad weather. I think the Mickey Gods were shining on our cruise as we had incredibly beautiful weather. I think Hurricaine season ends in November, so there is always a chance, but the Captain will try his best to fi

Just be able to go with the flow should your ports of call change.

Although Hurricane Season runs from 6/1 to 11/30, the peak of the season tends to be from mid-August to mid-October. That being said, there was a storm in November last year that ran past the end of the official season into the first few days of December. But your odds aren't bad. You <b><i>probably</i></b> won't have a problem with October 20.

We sailed the 10/26/02 cruise this past year and had great weather. We had calm seas, sunshine and warm (almost to hot for us) weather. Go for it!
