Just checking in to let you all know I am around. I have been under the weather for a week with a very bad case of bronchitis. I haven't worked since last Monday and still not up to doing anything. I'm on an antibiotic and prednisone but heading back to the doctor today. I am so glad this did not happen when in Germany.

Welcome Back, Sandy. Glad yu had a great trip but how scary about your flight home.

Julie, jury duty, too????? Don't they undeerstand you are a mom and it's the end of teh school year;).

Heidi, sorry I wasn't around to chat. Thanks for keeping us going even if you did talk to yourself.

Where's Barb and Denine?

Turner had his prom Saturday night. He spent the day at a friend's house so his mom could help them both out since I wan't able to. I hate I missed seeing them in person. I will post a picture on my FB page after stealing it from Turner's page:).

I'll check in again sometime.

Susan, I am so sorry. It is a good thing that you weren't sick when you were gone but still doesn't make you feel any better! Can't wait to see Turner all dressed up. Fun.

Nothing new here. I'm babysitting today for Heidi. Headed to get a manicure and some shopping done.

Hope Barb and Denine will check in. It's lonely here.:sad2:

Hi guys!

Susan, I can't believe that Turner is that old! We were just watching home videos of us in Disney at Whispering Canyon. Boy does time fly!

Sandy, babysitting the puppies huh? I've got one here who would LOVE Auntie Sandy! Miley would to have you sit for her!

Heidi, I'm not on a jury yet, I have to report EVERYDAY downtown to the jury holding area. When they need to "sit" a jury, they will call a certain number of jurors and them pick from those. I will probably not get picked, but it's gonna be sooooooooooo boring sitting down there for the whole 5 days. Don't they know I have tooo much to do? Plus, having some work done on the house next week, and I won't be there for it. Anna Marie will be with us for that week to get kids to school and back and to "supervise the workers" (and to call Dad if she needs back up! LOL)

Hi Denine! I know she has checked into the DIS... put she won't post. I'm sure she will when she has the time.

Hi Barb!

I'm officially going to the "dark side/ Denine side". THIS WEATHER STINKS!!! I expect rain in the springtime here, but come on already! We were even in the 40's yesterday!!:scared1: My grass is so long, AGAIN, that I need a herd of goats to get it mowed! Garry had to stand out in it for 3 hours Saturday due to a fatal car accident that evening.

Well, better run, gonna run over to my mom's in a few since it's her birthday today!

Be back later!

Julie, :rotfl2:wanna borrow one of our boats? No, I get it. Watching the lawn grow and grow and grow isn't fun. I know we have cut it when wet just to get it done and it makes a humongous mess and you have to cut it twice. I HATE JURY DUTY!!!!! HATE IT!!!!! When I worked in the Courts everyone dressed up. In fact one of our judges refused to hear a case because a lady had on slacks. So, on my first jury duty I dressed up. Got into the room and found all kinds of blue jeans. Truthfully, I like the laid back approach. At least you are comfortable when doing the nasty deed.:thumbsup2 Thank goodness for Anna Marie!

:hug:DENINE, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO HAVE TO DO TO GET YOU BACK?????

Well it has officially happened, work has blocked the disboards and I can no longer log on. :( Trying to figure out how to get it on my phone now!

Julie - Wow, 5 days of just sitting there, that sounds like torture and extremely long days when you have so much other things to do.

Susan - I hope you feel better. I am so glad you didn't have it in Germany. When you feel better, I can't wait to hear about your trip. I loved Turner's prom picture. Is that his girlfriend or just a friend? They looked like a cute couple!

Tomorrow my girls graduate 8th grade and I took Thursday and Friday off so I can have a long weekend and relax and clean. My friends are taking me out on Friday for my birthday. We are going to Outback for Happy Hour and then we are going to see Bridesmaids! I can't wait!! I would say I am excited to sleep in on my days off but I know Lilly will wake me up early. Have a great night.

I feel a tiny bit better today but the bronchitis is still in control of my life. Now, Paul is starting to come down with something - I hope not the same.

So glad you all saw Turner's prom picture. That is his girlfriend, Jordan. They do make a cute couple and she is so sweet.

We have alot of rain here as well. Not really bothering me since I am in bed most of the day and night. It is supposed to start clearing up and warming up starting tomorrow.

I still need to finish my Germany trip summary and post it but just haven't felt up to it. It seems like so long ago and now my Mom nad step-father are coming back here the end of next week. Mom has called me everyday to see how I am feeling. Nothing like MOMS!!!

Signing off for now. Love you guys.

Susan, sorry to hear that you are still under the weather. Bronchitis is nasty and no fun that's for sure.

We are getting a lot of rain, too, but we get breaks in between the days. We were on 4" deficit for the year but we made up for it last week and now we are only .5" behind. Good for us!

I really hate to admit this but I was deleting from my "inbox" and found our "thread" It is not that I don't think about you guys :grouphug: but life gets in the way!

SUE: Hope you are well on the road to recovery. Turner went to his Prom? Can't be!

JULIE: Do not tell me Makenzie is 12! Where did all this time go?

SANDY: Cozumel sounded wonderful. Maybe one of these days we will be able to experience Cozumel. I hope that flight doesn't discourage you from flying :scared1::scared1: I am SOOOO looking forward to April :boat:

HEIDI: Your plans sound like sooooooo much fun.:dance3:

Peter (my Australian boyfriend) will be arriving on June 1st and will be here until July 25th. Right after he gets here, we are going to the Poconos in Pennsylvania for a week. Then I need to work but we are going to Delaware to visit my friends for a few days and so he can fish and I can shop! Fourth of July week the whole family is going to Ocean City, New Jersey, and that should be interesting! Peter has never been married, has no children or animals and only has one grown niece so he has never been EXPOSED to real family life!:dogdance::rockband::cheer2::grouphug: The following week we are flying to Cape Coral, Florida, to see if he likes that area since that is where I always thought I would end up retiring. I get two weeks summer vacation so it was hard squeezing in everything I wanted to do to give him a little taste of this area. He has been in the states numerous times before but I don't know if he really got to see alot of one area. I would have loved to fit a little trip to Colorado in his tour but I just could not get the time off in the summer.

Miss you all :grouphug:
Toodles, JEANNE also known as Disney Dudette Two :earsgirl::earsgirl:

Just had a heart attack.....was that Jeanne? Sounds like you and Peter will have a fabulous time. Too bad CO wasn't included. Maybe next time (hint, hint). I'm still plannning a trip to Australia when you get married, LOL.

Good grief, today is Heidi's girls graduation. We are having severe weather all around including up where they live. Lots of hail, funnel clouds, rain. Springtime in the Rockies is not fun sometimes.

Hi guys! Boy, Heidi stops posting from work and the board halts! LOL!

Heidi, I hope that you and the girls had a great time at graduation and your fun filled weekend.

Jeanne, glad to see you post! So are we all gonna get an invite to Australia? LOL! Just as long as the bride and groom pay for airfare :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!!!

Sandy, are you ready for camping season? I bet you are getting excited for it!

Well, we had Makenzie and Garry's choir concert last night. Makenzie did AWESOME on her solo!!! She had so many people (most she didn't know, and either did I! LOL) come up to her and tell her how beautiful her voice was and what a great job she did. Garry was too funny as Cinderella's mouse!!!! They all did a super job!
Next on the schedule is Makenzie has a retreat for her confirmation and soccer practice tomorrow and Garry has football sign ups and then we have the Police Memorial Tatoo Concert downtown. Sunday we have a girl scout picnic and a soccer game. THEN starts my fun week downtown for jury duty. Within this week we have soccer practice Monday, soccer travel team tryouts Tuesday, Thursday we have a soccer game, and Friday we have field day at the school. THEN if everything is still a go, we are suppose to go to dinner with Denine and Jerry Saturday, but I haven't talked with them so I hope it's still on.

I will try and post pictures of Makenzie in her Goldilocks costume of facebook.

Well, gonna go! Have a great weekend!

Julie, I am exhausted just thinking about your week ahead.

Bronchitis still has me under the weather. I have spent most of the last 10 days either in bed or on the couch. I am heading back to the doctor tomorrow. Only slightly better.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Sorry you are still sick Susan. That had to have been a nasty bug! Have you gone back to work?

Julie, I love musical programs. How fun. Good luck on jury duty (yuck). Yep, it's camping season again. That's where I was over the weekend. I'm glad you were able to reassure me that the end of the world didn't happen to you two hours before us, LOL. Crazy lady. Headed over to FB to see your pics.

Julie, Ernan called me again. He is just too cute. His contract is up on May 29th. Looks like he will be back on the Dream for one more contract and then they are talking about putting him on the Fantasy. No definite plans yet.

Hi guys! Where is everyone? I go off to jury duty and Heidi get's the boards blocked and everyone goes bye bye? I will be bringing my laptop tomorrow to jury duty so I hope to post tomorrow. All I can say is that Jury duty is BORING!!!!!! Haven't been called for any "jury sitting" and I'm sure if I ever did, I would be dismissed. Oh well, only 3 more days.

Just thought I would check in. We had a very bad storm last night around 6/7pm. We had golf ball size hail and several funnel clouds we spotted. Our air raid siren went off (tornado siren) so everyone including the animals went to the basement. I was unfortunately at the verizon store when it hit, so I was glad to get home~! Denine's neck of the woods got hit pretty good too, but I saw she was on facebook so I guess she made it out ok.

Well, gotta run! Have a good night and I will check back in later!!

I'm here. I guess this is the spring to remember. Nasty weather everywhere. It is rainy and cold here. Have had several days of pea size hail. Nothing like you guys though. I heard we are to be in the 80's on Sunday so I guess that's good. I have been seated in the jury box twice. Once the judge dismissed me and the other time it was on a case where a guy molested his step daughter. My niece was molested by my BIL, her stepdad, and I told them that. They asked if I could forget that and stay focused on that case and I said "I could try but I couldn't guarantee it". Guess who got dismissed!! Great idea about taking your laptop!!!! Good entertainment. I will have to remember it. Do they have free WIFI?

So much for the 80's by Sunday. The weather did a complete turn around. It is now going to be raining over the weekend and in the 60's.

Hello, home from work sick. I have been sick since Thursday and I went to work yesterday and it just made things worse I think. Chris flew to FL today from VT and he will be back to CO on thursday. I can't wait to see him.

Susan - I hope you are feeling better. Did the doctor diagnose you with anything? Hopefully he gave you some good stuff to help you feel better.

Julie - Wow, I could never keep up with your life...you guys are always so crazy busy! That is some scary weather, this morning the thunder woke me up it was loud and really freaked the dogs out. They wouldn't leave my side. I hope jury duty is going by quickly for you. A few days left!

Hi guys! Sitting here in the jury "holding pen" bored out of my mind, but at least I can get on the boards!!!!

Yesterday I got to eat at Progressive Field (former Jacob's Field) for lunch with Garry and about 30 officers for a Click it or Tick campaign. We ate at the terrace club. It was very nice! I even took a bag of cotton candy back to the jury holding room and ate it! Garry and the other officer from Parma Heights even dropped me back down at the court house in the cruiser!! LOL!!! It was pretty funny and pretty cool!

Heidi, I hope you feel better soon! You too Susan!

Sandy, this spring the weather has been nuts EVERYWHERE!!! Hopefully it won't be too bad this weekend at the trailer!

Well, gotta run! I will be back later!

Today Denine and Jerry will find out if he has his job. Key bank is letting many people go today. When I spoke to Denine, Jerry and her didn't have a good feeling this time. But if he loses his job, I bet they will be moving to Virgina. I'm sure she had been in contact with a realitor and if the house isn't for sale now, it will be. We are suppose to go to dinner on Saturday, but I haven't heard from them so I'm not sure.

Well, gonna go! Be back soon!
