Hello everyone!

We had a very nice Easter! It was just the 6 of us, but it was still nice. We had ham, sweet potatoes, and all the fixins'. I made strawberry shortcake for dessert. Of course the kids had a blast finding all the eggs and their baskets. The Easter Bunny is getting tricky with hiding them.

Today is nice and warm and very windy... but no rain .... YET! I'm thinking we are living in Seattle with all the rain we have had, BUT I have to say... the lawn hasn't looked this green in a long time! We have started to build an ark.... all's welcome! LOL! This is why spring isn't my favorite season. Soon it will be hot AND sunny.

Susan has left for Europe, right? I hope she can post while she is there, at least once or twice.

Barb, so how was Easter with the whole family? I was hoping you would post the grandkids Easter picks on fb.

Heidi, is Ernan staying on the Dream or is he gonna move to another ship? What did he say about the new ship? Does he like it better then the Magic? I was curious to hear from a cast members point of view.

Sandy, so I heard that your "mall bomb guy" had nothing to do with the anniversary of Columbine, which is good, but they didn't say what his reasons were, have they said anything out there about it?

I know Denine is on fb, so I guess she needed a break from the dis. Well at least she knows we didn't forget about her on her birthday.

Our mall bomber has been arrested. Yay! I went to the mall today and it was like a ghost town. I would not have gone but I had a free $10.00 coupon at Penney's if I bought something for $10.00. I wasn't going to lose that one. LOL Last night they said that they have no idea yet if it is related. Who knows. Just one crazy man, that's all.

I was wondering about Denine as well. Miss you

Julie, I like those quiet Holidays. I like spending time with just my immediate family. Unfortunately we ate lunch with my SIL. She is so fake since leaving my brother. My brother asked me to invite her but he wasn't going. He can't take holidays since she left.

Ernan didn't tell me if he was staying on the Dream but honestly whatever ship he's on, he would say he likes it. He just doesn't complain. I'm wondering if he might switch to the Wonder since we will be on it for Hawaii. He asked a lot of questions about it anyway. But then again, he is on the Dream with his brother.

Hey Sandy, when are you leaving again? I forgot you had your Cozumel trip coming up. How exciting! We were watching old movies that we took (we are moving everything onto DVD's) and we watched the one with all of us cruisers at Whispering Canyon! Turner and Anna Marie and Makenzie (which Anna Marie carried) were doing the horse racing around the restaurant and the rest of us were at the tables. They were so young... not the high school senior and college soon to be senior! And who were the ones who started the sugar throwing??? I can't believe I was 8 months prego with Brooke during it! It was in Dec. 2003 (first week of Dec) and she was born Jan. 8th 2004! What was I thinking! LOL!!! Brought back some great memories! Someday, maybe we will all sail again.... but it seems like we are always the ones who can't when everyone else can.Oh well, someday!

Where's Heidi? She usually posts at least once!!!!

Hey Julie, I cannot believe you were pregnant with Brooke. I don't remember that. 8 months.....what WERE you thinking? That was a FUN day. I remember Mckenzie and the Big Guy were small. I remember Ana Marie taking good care of her siblings at the parade. I soooo remember the stick horses. Oh and straws, too. Maybe we can't hook up cruising but maybe a WDW trip like before. I want to get back there for Christmas again. I don't know where Heidi is but since she is boss lady I suppose she has twice as much work.

Julie, I was just thinking about your question about Ernan. I bet a million bucks that DCL will put him on the Fantasy. Nothing has been said to us but because he is so good I bet they will want him on it to help the newbies.

Hello!!!! I am swamped at work so it gets tougher to check in!!!

I bet Ernan goes to the Fantasy too. I hope he gets on the Wonder to go to Hawaii with us but that is just because I am selfish!!! I know he likes the longer cruises because he really gets to know people on the longer cruises.

Good morning! Got here a little earlier so I had some time to post first! This afternoon is going to be busy for me as I have a 45 minute presentation and have to be on a conference call all day. Tomorrow is Bring Your Son and Daughter to Work Day so that will take up most of my morning. We have a little over 100 kids and I am sure there will be about 15 kids that show up tomorrow that didn't RSVP. I dislike that day, its free daycare for the parents and we are stuck with the kids for the day and having that many kids gets very interesting!

I always thought thata take your kids to work day meant they stayed with the parent to see what they do for a living. It has turned out to be free daycare. I don't get it.

Ya, that is what we use to do with dad, but now we put on this whole event with stations so the kids know what Reclamation does. We have 10 stations set up and have tour guides (me being one of them). I hate this day!!!! Some of the kids are such brats, this year I made sure to get the parens number so that if any of them are acting up, I am calling their parent ASAP to pick up their kids. We even give out goody bags. Such a waste of time and money.

Maybe the parents that bring their kids should take turns babysitting. Oh wait, no one would bring their kids then.

WooHoo, just found out that we got the best room at the resort. It's the same one as last year. Spectacular views and CLOSE to the beach. Yippee!

My mom made it to Cozumel and it sounds like she is having a good time! I had a busy weekend, Saturday I babysit for my sister all day long and yesterday was laundry and dog training class! Chris leaves soon and I am not looking forward to that. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hey Heidi! I guess it's just you and me! How long is your mom gonna be gone? Chris is going back to Florida or is he going to the East coast? I can't remember what you said.

I guess you and your doggies will have to hold down the fort while everyone is gone.

The kids break is over and they went back to school today. They only have 25 more days left. They have the state testing this week (Ohio Achievement Assessment). It's only for certain grades. The public and private schools don't do the CAT testing anymore that Denine does with Kaleigh. The schools use to do the CAT testing but felt that the material in it is a little "dated" (their words not mine)and new standards have been put in place that now requires this state testing. SO, this week is testing testing testing for Garry and Makenzie. Brooke will not have it until next year.

Well, gonna run! Have cub scouts and soccer practice tonight......
