Susan, OMG, I can't imagine the fear you guys had. I was thinking about you ever since I heard about it. Coming from SD I can relate to tornados. My grandparents farm was demolished by one. I have never forgotten the darkness they create. So eery!

Barb, you have taken on a big project with the family reunion but it will bo so worth it in the end. We use to have one every year when I was little. I always looked forward to them because we got a new outfit for it, .

The walk turned out good. I got to see Bolt but it was so crazy at the time that I didn't have to say goodbye. Phew. Barb, Bolt ended up not working out. They wanted to keep him but he was too much distraction for Penny, the new response dog. Joey named her Penny so she can be Tyler's lucky penny. The name worked out pretty good since they have to use Disney names when they buy from this trainer. They had Bolt and Penny was in the Bolt movie. It all came together nicely.

Heidi, thanks for your help with the deposit on the excursion. I let her know that you were paying it.

Susan: How scary!!! Glad you are all right though. I saw the reports of the devastation. How sad for so many people.

It is just cold and rainy here. Maybe someday spring will come. I don't want a drought, but I am sick of rain!

I don't know when Kaleigh will get another practice in. It was rained out Saturday and it will most likely be rained out Wednesday. I don't know if there is supposed to be practice next Saturday or not, but it will probably be cancelled too because of rain. We are supposed to start games in May. How can they play games when they have had no practice? I don't know what the new parks and rec director was thinking when he decided to start in April instead of May. No one else can figure it out either.

Just been busy.

Barb - I am so glad you have added us back in to your To Do list! You have a lot going on. We got an ocean view room, I believe the cat is a 9b. I can't wait!!!!

Denine - We are finally getting some rain. We need the moisture, we have already had lots of fires so far and my grass needs to get greener! I love the rain, its the wind and the hail that I don't like.

I am so glad I have friday off, I am exhausted and looking forward to sleeping in. Mom - What are you guys doing on Friday?

Morning guys. I almost had a lunch date with Stacey today but I did my homework and found out that grilled chicken at Chick Fil A is marinated and the first ingredient is SUGAR. Tyler can't have that. I now have to check out Red Robin to see if their grilled chicken is marinated. He always has seizures after eating at Red Robin.

Denine, April showers bring May flowers. Just keep chanting that. We have a week of rain ahead but it seems everyone is excited for it. We need it so bad.

Heidi, no "real" plans for Friday. Are we going with Julie and Diane? The only thing that at least one of us has to contend with is the Geek Squad coming to service the washing machine between 12 and 4. I'm wondering if my picture has to be shrunk down to get my full Hawaii cruise banner. I feel bad that you have to do that stuff for me. By the way, Karen at Cozumel Sailing thanked you for paying my bill, LOL.

Mom - I see the complete banner, not sure why you can't on the laptop. I will ask Julie tonight to see if we are still on for Friday. Today is Kara's last day of teaching Zumba before her baby so we are having a pajama party and then going to a Mexican restaurant that is close by the Peak tonight. Glad Karen received the payment and understood it was for you!!!

I had to "fight" with Chase yesterday. Well I thought I was going to have to fight! I signed up for their Southwest Airlines Rewards Visa and I was supposed to get $500 in gift cards and a free roundtrip flight. Well we got the gift card, but no flight credits. I called them and the lady said I did not get that offer so I only get the gift cards. Well I had proof of the offer I signed up for and sent it in an email to chase, and just got a response back that my free flight credits will be posted shortly! Thank goodness, I am trying to book Chris a flight to FL and me a flight to Chicago next month!

Good deal Heidi! Glad it worked out for you. I ended up fighting Disney yesterday over my jacket. The CM told me that it sounded to her like EmbroidMe just didn't want to fix it. DUH, everyone is afraid of Disney and their copyright issues. The lady at EmbroidMe was so supportive when I took it in. The CM gave me Disney's legal number which gave me another number and then another number. Never actually talked to a real human on the phone. I sent off another email to DCL.

There is a hazardous waste spill on the railroad tracks in Monument where Stacey lives. Heidi, it is by Lake of the Rockies. Anyway, the kids don't have school today and maybe tomorrow.

At noon they closed our mall due to a fire. Now they have found a bomb attached to propane tanks and just recently found a pipe bomb. It makes me wonder if it is related to Columbine or just a coincidence. The mall is walkable from here and the high school. I am now hearing the helicopters all over again. It's just plain eery. Thank goodness I shopped yesterday.

Sandy, keep us posted on the events around you! I have no idea what is wrong with kids today, or even some adults! it's down right scary! We had an officer at another local department who went into work today and shot himself. No one knows why he did it, but of course the media is saying that he was going to be a target of an internal investigation and the other officers in the dept. are saying that's not true.

The kids have their spring break starting Friday for a week. I know it's late, but our district likes to have break the week after Easter instead of earlier and then the kids go back the day after Easter.

Susan, glad to hear you and Turner made it through those horrible storms. Our weather around here hasn't been the greatest, but that's Spring around here. One day is gorgeous out, the next its colder then cold, the next is rainy and cold etc.... At least our grass is turning a great shade of green! Makenzie had her soccer game rained out today due to the fields being a mud puddle with all our rain we have gotten in the past few days. She had a soccer game on Sunday in 60 mph wind gusts! LOL!! It was an interesting game to say the least. We lost when the wind blew the ball into our goal with seconds to go and the ref counted it. Oh well!

Heidi, glad to hear that you got your free flight! Forget about Chicago, and come to Cleveland! LOL!!!! We could show you around! I'd keep the few flight for yourself, don't waste it on Chris! just kidding!!!!

Hi Barb and Denine!!! I know Barb is super busy! Denine is probably frozen! LOL! I know she just LOVES our weather!

Julie, that's so sad about the officer. I feel so bad for both him and his family but the poor people that found him will have it bad, too. As far as our deal is concerned, you wonder what goes through people's minds. I think people like that adult or child like the "stardom". Soccer, wind, rain, and puddles just don't make for a good game, LOL.

Sooooo, the FBI, ATF and our Sheriffs dept are investigating the mall incident. They think they found it all and the mall will reopen tomorrow. ummmm, I'm not shopping there! I may not go to our Target that is next door to the mall as well. It is now tied into the investigation. They have a great picture of a person of interest that is old and graying. They are not discounting the fact that it is the anniversary of Columbine. Glad I went to the mall and Target yesterday!!

Mom - Poor Julie had to drive by the mall since she lives in the apts right behind there and it didn't make her feel very well and brought her back to her Columbine memories seeing all the police cars and police tape, she wasn't in a great mood yesterday. I just gave her a big hug. For everyone here, Julie is one that my mom basically raised and watched when we were growing up and she was in the cafeteria when the shootings happened at Columbine.

Julie - Heck ya, I am keeping that free flight for me!!! That is so sad that the officer shot himself. Wow, your kids Spring Break is late! Chris's niece finishes her first year of college next week. She has to take a Final on Monday and then she is off for 10 weeks until she starts late summer classes. I would love to come visit you and you show me around!

Sirens all morning long. I don't know if I am more sensitive now or what but I'm nervous. All in about 4 minutes emergency vehicles going both north and south on our main street and another when I got home. They are calling it domestic terriorism. Poor, poor Julie! I thought it odd that she didn't post anything on FB. She must be a wreck.

Sandy, OF COURSE you're invited!!!!!! We can have a party in Ohio!! Everyone can come!!! Our news had your story about the bombs found at your mall. I said, that's right by Sandy!!! The whole is scary out there!!! Thank goodness they didn't go off and everything was found.

Well, the kids are spring break OFFICIALLY!!!! Garry took next week off so we all have a nice break!!! Too bad it's gonna be raining, but we will make our own family fun even in the rain!! The kids will go up to Bowling Green on Thursday and will stay with Anna Marie til Saturday and then she will bring them home. She wanted the kids to spend some time with her and since she doesn't have classes on Friday, so it works out good. I can't believe that she will be a senior next fall!!! She has a house with 5 of her friends, so she wanted the kids to spend some time in the sorority house. Of course G Dog is gonna have a blast! LOL!!!!!

Well, gonna go! I'm gonna hit the sheets! I'm tired and have a headache!

Julie, Easter break sounds like it will be fun for you guys. (with the exception of rain).

We are to have lots and lots of rain so the Easter bunny can't hide the eggs outside and no Easter service at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Well here I am working overtime. YAY! I am only here for 3 1/2 hours so it should go by quickly. I have a list of things I have to do today that keeps me running from one place to the next. Tomorrow we are having Kara's 2 year picture taken and some of all 3 of my grandbabies. Tomorrow afternoon we are dying eggs. Jason and Michelle are spending the night tomorrow night and spending Easter morning with us. Hope the weather is nice for the egg hunt.

Sandy-SCARY! Guess I had better change my timer because that is from last year. We are going in Oct but I have not set the trip up yet.

Heidi-I want to go to Hawaii too! You are sooo lucky. Who knows maybe a miracle will happen. Not likely

Julie-Wow your Spring break is late! I have never understood why ours is early March when it is still so stinkin cold and snowy here. I am just so excited Easter is late this year. We may even be able to be outside for a Easter egg hunt.

What a great Easter! We got a surprise phone call from Ernan (pool drink server) as he was sailing away on the Dream. This time Heidi got to talk to him. We met my family at Texas Roadhouse for lunch and then everyone came over for games. It was the perfect Easter. No work for me and I really got to enjoy the company.
