Mom - I knew about Darren and Faith and the gang, just wasn' t sure who else on this thread is going to try and go.

My dad and Chris are skiing today, wish I was there but since I took 2 weeks off and this is my first week back, I couldn't take another day off...my customers and probably supervisor would have been irritated if I would have done that.

Heidi, I went to Borders today and ordered the Matchstick Puzzle book. It will be in anywhere from 3-8 days. I also bought you and Stacey a cookbook. I will try and remember to send it home with Chris.

Better go dry my hair. Yuck. Why is it that I consider it a chore?

What a work week. Unfortunately, I had to bring some work home for the weekend AND we have 2 hockey games in Columbia, SC. Somehow it will get done along with the laundry.

I dislike drying my hair too. It is the one thing I hate about getting myself ready in the morning.

Turner is reading the Great Gatsby in English class so I bought it for my nook and decided to reread it. I liked it a lot when I read it many years ago.

Paul and I went to dinner tonight at Longhorn Steakhouse. We won't be able to do anything for Valentine's Day so we decided to have an early dinner. I am stuffed. I shouldn't have eaten so much. But is sure was good!

We are going to get into the 60s this week. I sure hope this means our spring is just around the corner.

Had a nice day with Stacey and Heidi today. We met the most adorable Bolt for the first time. He and Lilly had a great time playing. Now headed to dinner with our old friends.

Lilly loved playing with Bolt. She spent so much time playing with him that she spent the next day exhausted and slept most of the day until it was time for Puppy school again! We are now in intermediate and learning to swing and heel! She is doing so good with her training.

Looks like I will be booking my next cruise for May 2012 on the Fantasy. Chris's family will be going with us, should be fun!

Poor Tyler had a seizure out in the parking lot after school and now he is struggling with so many. Both Stacey and I had our eyes out that he didn't eat anything he shouldn't. Not sure why he is so bad. Bolt is still under the weather so he is not able to do much. It would be so perfect with Tyler struggling for Bolt to get the "feel" for Tyler. Shoot on all aspects of today!

Heidi, another thing. Don't be jealous. YOu have that trip on the Fantasy planned!!!!!! I need one thing from you. When do you guys want to go to SD? Only a week, right? Dad is trying to figure out his vacation hours that he needs for both trips. Thanks.

OH NO, I just got a txt from Stacey. Richard forgot to give Tyler his morning meds. YIKES! Poor guy is NOT doing well.

Editing to add Sturgis dates are Aug 8-14th. Chris talks about May but when in May since Memorial Day will be booked with SD campers. When do the girls and Chris get out of school? Has Chris decided on summer school or not? If he goes to summer school when does that start? Sheez, it's hard.

Mom - I was thinking only a week but if Dad doesn't have enough time we can easily do it after he retires. No big rush. What do you mean work it out with Spencer? Was it a bad seizure where he collapsed and hit his head out in the parking lot? Was it a long one? I bet Stacey is PO'd, how could he forget to give him his medicine?

Chris's last day will be May 12th at the latest, and he will take summer classes which starts probably end of May I am guessing. The girls do not get out of school until their birthday, so it might just have to wait until another year I guess. I don't know.

Sandy, sorry to hear about Tyler. From what you posted, he didn't get his meds. so that is why he started his seizures? Poor little guy. How's he today?

Heidi, so you are going on the Fantasy twice in 2012? Once with Chris's family and also in October? We were thinking about the reunion cruise, but we will have to see. With Makenzie in middle school... I don't know how her teachers will "accept" the idea. We would love to have the option to go whenever we want, but we do want the kids to get the best education they can get, and sometimes you just have to say no, not this time. BUT, it's not out of the question yet. Will also depend on the price too. Paying for 2 or 3 is A LOT different then paying for 5!

Susan, I love my nook! I just got finished reading all of Dan Brown's books (author of DaVinci's Code). I also have a kindle (long story as to why I have both). Like that too. I'm a big mystery reader. I also LOVE playing saduku on my nook.

Well, we have had very nice weather the past week, cool but sunny, sunny , sunny! I have even gotten out my sunglasses!!!! Even the snow is melting. We have always said, our weather gets nice when Denine and Jerry leave the state! Yes, it hasn't been in the 60's, but no snow, and sunshine!!!!! We even have some flowers trying to come out of the ground!!! But Denine and Jerry are due to come home sometime this week, SO we will probably get hit again with snow real soon. LOL!!!

Julie, I understand your sentiment 100% about taking Mckenzie out of school. We only traveled with the girls during school vacations ourselves. We could skip the reunion and do it another time. We need you guys there, too. Would not be the same without you. I was wondering about your weather while I have been driving around. Our side streets are still a disaster with ice ruts everywhere. I'm tired of it. Ya, Richard didn't give Tyler his meds and that is why he was seizing. The sad part of it was the teachers kept saying what a great day he was having, talking and everything. Soooooo, that tells us his meds are definitely holding him back. SAD!! Talked to Stacey this morning and he is doing much better today. I'm sure he will go to school this afternoon.

Heidi, I'm wondering if the SD trip might be better once Chris is out of school. I really don't want him not enrolling in summer school because of a trip. I don't thinking skipping in the summer for a few times is a good idea either because how accelerated summer school is in the first place.

I just realized that it has been rumored that DCL could possibly be going to Hawaii in 2012 in May, if that is the case then we will be booking the Hawaii cruise and not going on the one with his sister or the reunion cruise. I have wanted to go to Hawaii for a very long day, and on DCL makes it even more perfect for me.

I understand about paying for 4, quite expensive. The girls will be in High School and will have to miss a few days if we go next May.

Mom - We will have to get together with Chris and figure it out, I can't speak for him because I know he really wants to go.

So I am trying not to panick, but truly I am panicking. We already have a 2 year pay freeze at work, and now they are talking about freezing promotions as well as taking 28 furlough days from March 7th - Sept. 30th. That would mean I would lose out on at least $9k this year. Scary.
