Susan, we survived the weekend and sounds like you did, too. How in the world were you able to fit in hockey, too??!!

Denine, we will find out about the new WW program tomorrow. I will let you know. She said not to believe everything you read on the internet so it will be interesting about the fruit. We have one of those things that converts records over to the computer for CD's, iPod or whatever. LOVE IT!!!!! Easy! You can find some good deals on those at Christmas time.

Heidi, of course you can borrow the baby gate.

It is sooooo cold today. I can't imagine going swimming but I have to. The pool was closed last week and with Thanksgiving I HAVE to. I tried to watch what I ate. I didn't have popcorn at the theater either. But, we did come home and watched the Hallmark movie last night and ate Ted's popcorn. He makes the best and with probably a teaspoon or two of oil.

Hey Everyone!

The new WW program is for real. Most fruits and veggies are "0" points, BUT some point values went up. (like the smart ones meals, points went up and are not the right value on the boxes, on some of the smart one meals LIKE the pizza mini's say 5 pts, but are now 7pts. ). AND Activity points went up! Garry got an email from WW's and it looks pretty good.

Hey Denine, once my foot heals, we should sign up for WW together and go to meeting and weigh in's together. They said people do better when they go with friends.

Well, I'm STILL on crutches. I have an infection in the major area where he did most of the work. I was hoping to get off the crutches AND be able to get my foot wet, BUT that's not happening. I'm now on a strong antibiotic that I have to take twice a day. NICE! If I know that this was gonna be like this, I would have waited to have the surgery because this isn't doing anyone any favors!

Susan, tell Turner I said I'm proud of him for doing so good in his tournament.
We finally beat the Panthers yesterday! Our QB was really trying to lose it for us, but we held out to a win.

Heidi, I would still decorate for Christmas, even though Chris won't be there. Do it for you and everyone else. What would you say to Joey or Tyler if they stop at your house and don't see it ready for Santa! Are you gonna get to see the twins when he is gone? Do it for you!!! Think about the Children! ( you are STILL a child at heart too!)

Barb, so any news on the baby? I'm sure you are at disney now (i think) I hope you have a great trip!

If Joey and Tyler came to my house, I would probably pass out!!! My sister never comes to my house, we always go to hers. The girls want to come over for winter break but I am trying to talk them out of it and only come on the weekends because I work from 5:30am-4:30pm so they would get quite lonely. I am going to decorate my small tree, just not pull all the stuff out from the garage.

Bummer that you have a bad infection and still on crutches. I hope the antibiotics work for you and help speed up your recovery.

Julie, I feel so bad for you. I hope it mends SOON! You are right. I got the email from WW too. I just can't see fruit being zero points. That will be hard for me to grasp. They have new calculators, too. We have to throw away our old ones.

Heidi, I agree 100% with what Julie said about decorating!!!!!!

Sandy: I always felt fruit should be free. The sugars are natural and broken down differently by your body. Now I need a new calculator, uggh.

Julie: Sorry about the infection. Things never go easy. Hope you heal soon!!! Jerry and I don't go to WW meetings because of the expense. We do pretty well weighing in on the Wii each week. Tomorrow is my day and I am nervous.

Dark and rainy today. Supposed to get some snow the next coupl of days.

Kaleigh and I are doing Project Feeder Watch this year. We moved the bird feeders to where we can see them from the house. We do a 2-day count once a week until April. They want all sorts of info. It is Kaleigh's job to look in the paper for the temperature extremes. I will enter our information tomorrow for yesterday and today. We used to have tons of birds in Strongsville, but we don't get many here, especially in the winter, that come to the feeders. They want to know even if you don't get any birds. I saw 1 sparrow on Sunday and no birds yesterday. We have bluebirds and other birds, but they don't come to the feeders and they only want to know about those birds. Sometimes, we have half a dozen blubirds sitting on Kaleigh's swingset.

I only got 1 day of work for December. I asked for 2.

Yikes Denine, wanted 2 and only got 1. At Christmas time I'm sure you wanted the 2. WW meeting is tonight. She asked that we not get on the web site. She wanted to explain everything to us first. I obeyed it. I believe the email stated "most" or something similar for the fruit. WW can be expensive going to the meetings. I knew that but I made Ted go in with me. He's creeping up on the scale and I don't want it to get worse. Bird project sounds like fun.

Denine - Lilly is a "frenchiepei" which is a french bulldog sharpei mix. She is a lot of fun! I want to see Tangled. Glad it was good. I also want to see Burlesque so I am sure that will be the next movie I see unless I get the girls first and then we will see Tangled.

So much for my 20 pound loss. I gained 1.8 this week. To be fair, it was Thanksgiving and we did go to Amish, but still...

Heidi: I can't stand Cher, so I have no desire to see that movie. Love and Other Drugs looks cute, but that will have to wait until it comes out on Redbox.

Been working on putting up Christmas decorations. The tree goes up this weekend. I don't know when the outside stuff will get put up. It depends on the weather.

Denine, I will think of you this weekend. Our tree is going up, too. Heidi, want to help?? Don't beat yourself up about the weight gain! Do me a favor and sit down and juice a real lemon and put it in a cup or glass of warm water. That helps everytime.

Heidi, Nina wants us to see Burlesque as a girls night out. I'm with Denine, I'm not a Cher fan but will watch it because it's NINA!

Still out there looking for a replacement underwater camera. All my stuff is not compatible with the newer versions. It will be expensive up front but then I tell myself that the working one that needs to be replaced can be kept in the trailer.

I LOVE AMAZON!!! I feel better about having to buy the new camera. I was dreading buying all the new chargers, batteries etc and found so many great deals compared to Best Buy, Olympus and Wolf camera. I don't think I will buy the camera online however.

I love Amazon too! Although I should have never been on it yesterday when I was having a rough day and they were having their lightening deals. I ended up buying 3 video games yesterday!

Denine, I don't think your sparkling lemon water will do the trick. You have to have fresh lemons and warm water. It really flushes your body good. LA Weight Loss taught me that and I can almost say it is a miracle. I don't drink it all the time but when I do, I ALWAYS SEE A CHANGE ON THE SCALE, a pound or two the next day.

I'm on a wild goose chase trying to find a traditional style waffle maker for Stacey. Not a belgium plus I want it to have removable plates for ease of cleaning. It's always a chore because belgium is "in".

Heidi, what's your plans tomorrow? Are we going to get together for breakfast? Shopping? I think we are both swimming.

Susan, a little me time is always good! The lemon water trick is great but you can only actually SEE the difference ON the scale if you do it periodically. In other words, if you drink it daily you won't be actually seeing it make the difference. If you drink it daily it still does the trick, you just don't see it on th scale.

Snow today.

It was weird leaving work today and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Tonight is Kaleigh's last theater workshop and they are putting on a show. We drop her off at normal time and come back a half hour later for the show. We can't go anywhere in that time, so I guess we will just sit in the car.

Can't wait to put up the tree this weekend!!
