Back from the MD. I now have a script for antibiotics and a nasal spray. She also told me to take mucinex.

Good grief, Susan. Gall bladder? I'm so sorry! Go to Disney, have a blast and don't think about it. Hey, did you get hit with all that rain? I can't believe how much rain fell in such a short time.

Denine, it's funny because I read that you were short of breath and thought to myself, bronchitis and the further I read, you mentioned it. I USE to get it all the time.

Moving day for my brother. I know that it will be terrible emotional for me. (as if I'm not crying at the drop of a hat anyway, LOL) I feel bad for him and the kids. My SIL is avoiding me. That kind of hurts since we were so close. I texted her right after I heard about it so it wasn't like I "took sides". We all think there is more to the story.

I bumped into my friend that I swim with at Sunflower Mkt. She knows pretty much what's going on with me. She asked if I was going swimming and I told her no but now I realized I have to keep going. She will be shocked when I show up! Darn it, she made me cry right in the store. I was there for her when she was involved in a store shooting and she wants to be there for me now. It was so sad. She worked in customer service in a grocery store. A man comes into the store with a gun and shot several people. She was in the booth when he came over pointing the gun on her and the store manager. The manager got shot and Diane held him while he died. It was a SAD SAD STORY. A sheriff's deputy was shot and killed also. He was the father of a girl that Stacey and Heidi went to school with. It took it's toll on Diane for a very long time but she is finally able to talk about it without tearing up. We met while we were roomies in the hospital for our hysterectomies. 28 years later we are still friends.

Gotta run. Time to get my swimsuit on.

Hey Denine, our doctor always recommends Mucinex too. I think that it is the drug of choice now. It's so hard though trying to figure out WHICH one. Here in Co we have to get it behind the counter. I found it interesting that when we were in Seward, Alaska that it was right on the shelf.

Mom - So glad you are going swimming today!!! I am proud of you. You forgot to mention that you watched her kids for a long time and we all grew up together! Her DD is the one I go to Zumba with and she calls my mom her 2nd mom!!! The DD was also in the cafeteria when the Columbine HS shooting happened. Her DS was thankfully off campus eating lunch and he was a big football player and that is what the shooters were targeting was the Jocks. They have been through a lot.

INTENSE workout today. No time to feel sorry for myself that is for sure! Felt good.

Heidi, you added all that. They really have been through soooo much.

Sandy: That friend of your sure has been through a lot. Let her be there for you!

Yeah, I was afraid it had turned into bronchitis, I just didn't want to admit it to myself. But, since I couldn't breathe, I had no choice but to go to the doc. Jerry got the Mucinex off the shelf. I am guessing if it has sudafed in it he would have had to get it from the pharmacist. I now have 2 weeks of Augmentin, mega-dose. I would just like to breathe without struggling!

Rain, rain and more rain. Not as much as those on the east coast have had, but still. We are over an inch and still counting.

We did not have a fun day today. We are closing in on 2 inches of rain. The sump pump has not been happy. We spent 2 hours this morning bailing water out of it and Jerry dumping it in the driveway. At least we didn't flood. The pump couldn't keep up with the volume of rain. It is still raining.

I am finally not as short of breath today, so hopefully I am on the mend.

Denine, the rain clouds must just be over your house. We managed a Browns game (no rain) Garry's football and Brooke's cheerleading....(no rain.. cold but no rain...) and Makenzie's soccer game in North Olmstead (rain for the first 10 mins then no rain).... I think I will start calling you Eeyore:eeyore:..... with the rain cloud over your house...... look at it this way.... rain hard now... cause if it rained this hard and you were on a vacation.... look at the mess you would come back too.:eeyore:

We NEED that rain. I heard on the news that we had .16th of an inch of rain last month. No wonder CO is on fire.

ALMOST done with the trailer. Yahoo!

I wish we could have that rain here too! I can't believe it is so warm here, we are way above average this year. Wondering if it will snow this month like it did last year???!!!!!

It is actually NOT raining right now, but there is more to come according to the weather channel. It was a thin band of rain, probably not more than 5 miles wide and certainly less than 10 that kept streaming in off the lake. It rained for 2 straight days. I am sure we had over 2", but I can't find the info and it won't show up in official Cleveland totals cause it didn't rain at the airport.

I am off to my yearly this morning, YUCK! I know that she won't be happy with the amount of weight I lost. It doesn't matter how much it is. She may finally be happy when I get to my goal weight.

I must have emptied over 100 gallons of water from that sump pump with a big ladle. Jerry is the one that kept having to go up and down stairs with those 5 gallon buckets.

Julie: I just hope we DON'T get rains like this when we are gone.

WOW Denine! I would think 100 gallons from a sump pump for only 2+ inches of water.... I would be calling your contractor! Your house isn't that old, and it's not like you live on a farm or that rural of an area for you to have this many problems with your house. You have had your pipes freeze, Jerry had to dig out around the one side of your house with the snow, your every year flooded backyard, and now the sump pump and 100 gallons.... I would be suing the builders.... Do they have lemon laws for houses?

Getting back to sump pumps. We don't have one and don't need one, knock on wood. BUT all the neighbors on the other side of the street from us have to have them and they do run. I don't know what makes the difference but I do know we are lucky, knock on wood.

Cloudy day but do you think we will get rain???? Doubt it.

As you know, my friend took me out to lunch before deep water aerobics. We had a great talk and I am so thankful for her. We talked about what I am going through and what she has been through. She gave me her opinions of what I should or shouldn't do. We went to Garbanzo's. Do you guess have them out there. It is Mediterreanian food. Full of flavor. Our instructor really worked us to the bone today. I guess we deserved it, LOL.

Got my brother moved. What a horrible, horrible situation to be in. I was left alone with my niece and she was so quiet and emotional. THAT is NOT her. It was hard. I cried and she fought the tears. She told me that she realizes that the problems are her moms fault. OUCH.

There is nothing wrong, 2' is a lot of rain! Plus, where it empties into the yard is fairly close to the house, so Jerry extended the pipe as far as he could and that helped. You should have seen the water pouring into the sump pump!

We have a sump pump because North Ridgeville has a high water table plus all the gutters and everything empty into the yards, not the sewers, per law.

The sun is actually out part way. The rains come again overnight and all day tomorrow.

Jerry will be working from home again because they are supposed to pick up the car. We don't know what time.

I got the reaction I expected from the doctor this morning.

Rain on and off today. Gloomy.

Waiting for the car to be picked up but we don't know when that will be.

Kaleigh has PSR tonight.

9 days until we leave!

Good day for us. Ted got approval for his med plus they are throwing in 20 free pills. Weird that approval came through before the MRI.

I think I broke my toe yesterday. I accidentally kicked the vacuum cleaner. It is dark purple and curves twice. But, I can wear shoes and walk normal. It's touchy though.

Tonight is our chick flick movie club night. We are meeting for drinks first and then the movie. I can't remember what movie we are seeing though. I'm just going wherever they tell me, LOL. I love the DISboards for all these lasting friendships!!

Sandy: OUCH! Enjoy tonight. Glad Ted got approval so quickly!

Talked to Julie for a while.

Still waiting for the car. Jerry called the guy and left a message.
