Heidi, just had a nice talk with Kristy about Faith this afternoon. Call me when you have some free time.

I wrote a long post last night and lost it. For some reason it wouldn't post. So I am posting this hort note and then wil follow up with a long one in case I lose it I wanted you to know I am here!!!

OK, now! I was so frustrated last night about my post. I worked til 9:00 last night and still wanted to make sure I touched base. After I lost all my typing, I just gave up and went to bed.

Anyway, I have been working so many long days almost every day. I worked until 7:30 tonight and just had to stop. I am truly exhausted. We need more h elp but they don't seem to be making any effort to get more. I am actualy doing the job of 3 people and it is starting to take a toll. The promise it will ease up after mid Sept but I don't think I believe it.

As for my health, nothing significant showed up on the biopsies but did change my reflux medication. Unfortunately, I have started having Ulcerative colitis issues again so I alos have had to go back to medication for that. Can you say STRESS???

On top of all of that, we had a yard sale alst Saturday at my Dad's and we are having another this Saturday. We are making a lot of progress but still so much to do. My brother's daughter and her husband have decided they want to buy Dad's house and land if they can get their current house sold first. Hopefuly, that does work out. That will make things alot easier for settling that. We had it appraised a couple of weeks ago and it is definitely do-able for them.

One of Turner's hockey teammates' brother passed away on the 5th. he was 19 years old. They found him on the couch Sunday morning. The autopsy showed he had an enlarged heart that tehy did not know about. He was a great hockey player. To think that he had that condition all along and no one knew it. I went to the wake and it was extremely hard. First one I have been too since Dad died but then to see him in the casket and he had his hockey jersey on --- tore me up. No one should have to bury their child! So, say a prayer for the family of Nicholas Dudkowski. They are really having a hard time.

I am still planning to go to Disney with my friend on Oct. 5th. I'll fly down late afternoon and have Wed-Fri with them. Paul and Turner will be driving through Friday night and will pick me up. The first hockey games are that weekend in Ellenton, FL so it works out for them to pick me up and I will go watch hockey Sat and Sun and then a LONG drive back home Sunday night!!! Bad news is work wants me to take my laptop in case they need me for anything. I can see where that is heading.:headache:

Hope all goes well with Dick's surgery. Will be thinking of him and keeping him in my prayers.

Sandy, how is Tyler doing since his procedure? Hate to hear they are all sick. Hugs to all and prayers too!

Denine, glad you gys had a great trip. I caught up on your updates. You left and came back all while I have been AWOL!!

Heidi, cool skis. Also, I think you made a good decision regarding the job. i know it was tough to decide.

Blue gets neutered next week and will have to wear the cone of shame!! He has no idea what is in store for him!

We are finally supposed to get out of the 90s next week. Hottest summer I can remember in a long time.

So, hopefully when I submit this I won't lose it. If you are reading it, then I was successful tonight.

Miss you all. LYMI!!!!:grouphug::grouphug:

If I am going to keep posting, you're going to have to keep laughing at my typos!!!!:thumbsup2

Susan -:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: I am so glad to see you posting. You were missed. I am so sorry things are stressful for you right now. Sounds like you are going to get sick if nothing else backs off, please take care of yourself. I refused to work late and on weekends because I always said then they would rely on me to always do it and not give me help, but guess who went into work last Saturday and then again this Saturday!!!! I hope work does not bother you while you are in FL, you need to relax and getaway. That is extremely sad about the 19 year old. I will definitely keep them in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot even imagine having to go to a funeral for someone that young.

Mom - Darn it, I called you yesterday and now I read you talked with Kristy. Call me when you wake up so I can find out what is going on with Faith and Kristy.

Denine - I hope you are feeling better today and your headache is gone.

Today is my friday!!!! I am leaving work early because I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, then headed off for some camping time with my parents. Saturday I will come back and work a little bit and then Sunday I have to go do the SUDEP 5k!

Susan: So glad to hear from you. Sorry about all the long hours. I hope you do n't get sick from it all. At least you get a little time away. Too bad, the battery will have died on your laptop and you brought the wrong power cord! :rolleyes1 What a shame about the young man. Unfortunately, that happens more often than you would think.

My headache was finally gone when I got up this morning.

Trying to sell Jerry's car has been a pain. Everyone keeps contacting him with what they will or won't pay, but they don't actually bid on the car! People want him to call them or they want to come see it. We are both tired of it.

Plus, we now have to change around our vacation in February. We chose this time in particular after looking at the schedule for PSR last year. There were a lot of things in March but nothing in February. So, we get Kaleigh's schedule and her first confession is while we are gone. And there is nothing in March! We already have the plane tickets and all our dining and hotel ressies. What a pain!!!!!

Just trying to get stuff ready for Kaleigh's party on Sunday.

I work tomorrow.

Enjoy camping Heidi/Sandy!

Good Morning
Just figured out I can post from my phone Yipee. Will make keeping contact much easier. So hard to post from work and my home computer is sooo slow.

My Dad's surgery went well we left the hospital much later then expected. He just wasn't ready to leave as soon as they thought.

If I am going to keep posting, you're going to have to keep laughing at my typos!!!!:thumbsup2

I will be good, I promise.

WOW, Susan. You are certainly going through so much.:hug:The death of the boy certainly tugs at my heart. It's so hard for everyone around him I am sure. I pray that work does get better and SOON! I am wondering :confused3if you should confess that it's taking a toll on your health. I hope that the sale of the house goes through. What a total relief that would be for you. Once we sold our friends house life got so much better. Estates sales are soooo much work. I certainly understand that. I am glad that you are going to WDW. You need some time away from it all and what better way than at Disney?!

Barb, how fun to post from your phone. Glad your dad is doing good.

Heidi, I got a text from Kristy about Faith so I am assuming you did, too. I won't call you we can just talk tonight. BTW, I rented a couple of movies and I am going to make us a moose kiss and you HAVE to try it. So there!

Denine, we tried selling my mustang through the newspaper years ago. We swore we would never do that again. What a pain. People would call and say they were coming by that never did or we'd get phone calls after 10pm. I can sympathize!

Just got home from work but wanted to shock you all and post again. I have told work about my health and that this can not continue when I get back from Florida. Thank you all for your concern and support. You know it means alot to have you all a friends.

Too tired to continue tonight so I shall say goodnight. I won't be back tomorrow of Saturday (unless late) with the yard sale stuff but I love you guys!

Later!

Susan: GOod luck with the sale.

Very windy today! It is all before a cold front which will drop the bottom out of the temperature. Bummer!

Rita must have made out the October schedule. I only got 1 of the days I asked for. I was only asking for 2 since we will be gone for so long.

Tomorrow I need to make the lasagna for Kaleigh's party and do sme cleaning. Since tomorrow is her ACTUAL birthday, I am also making a special breakfast. The party is on Sunday.

Jerry and I decided that if the car does not sell tomorrow, we are going to wait to re-list it in the spring. People from over seas keep wanting to buy it for cheap. Jerry just got a message today from someone in Kuwait! We decided a while ago we were not going to sell over seas.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET PRINCESS!!! 8 YEARS OLD TODAY princess:princess:princess:princess:princess:princess:princess:princess:

Happy Birthday Kaleigh! I hope you have a great party tomorrow and a great day today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALEIGH!!:banana::woohoo::yay::dance3:

What a day but I thank Heidi for pulling us through. Thank you for always being there for us. You are always our bright sun ray on a cloudy day. LYMI

Susan, I'm proud of you for talking to them at work!

Yesterday was pretty boring for Kaleigh since we had so much to do to get ready for the party, but today will be fun. It will be a very small party this year, but it is still a party.

We sold Jerry's car last night!! Someone in Georgia bought it for our asking price and is going to have it shipped there. You wouldn't believe the number of people that wanted to drive a 37 year old car 500 miles through the mountains when this car barely ever leaves the garage! THis is not an official Ebay transaction cause the guy was out of town and couldn't bid. He had sent Jerry e-mails during the first listing though. He has a 100% positive rating though with 233 tranactions. The deposit is through Paypal. So, he is legit.

Gotta go wash Kaleigh's hair and get her ready for the party. Then I get to take a shower. We will see how the wheelchair ramp works today.

Happy Belated Birthday Kaleigh. I hope she had a great party!!!!!!

Denine - Yay, glad you sold the car...I bet that is a ton of stress lifted off your shoulders.

Susan - Good for you for sticking up for yourself and telling work they are affecting your health and that it won't continue.

Mom - Not a problem at all. It turned out to be a pretty fun night, despite what happened.

This weekend was a busy but fun weekend. Yesterday we did another family fun 5k walk for SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epileptic patients), the weather was perfect for it.

Heidi: Glad you had good weather!

All of my residents on Friday were either sick with a cold or coming down with one. Now I have it. UGHHH!!!!

Kaleigh's favorite gift was her Nintendo DS that I bought off a friend this summer. We got her 2 games and grandma got her one. I saved another game (Cars) back fro Christmas. She got Kit Kittredge, the green Tinkerbell game and Bolt. Now, there are 2 more Tinkerbell games, one just came out this week along with the new movie. She got 2 outfits for Kirsten from her other grandparents. She got a Kit design studio from her aunt and uncle.
The Silvermist cake came out gorgeous! I need Jerry to upload the photos on his computer and then transfer them to mine. For some reason, they won't upload on my computer.

The ramp for my dad worked perfectly. No more worries getting him in and out of the house.

It is a rainy day, but it matches my grumpy, sick mood.

Denine, great news that you sold the car. One worry off your shoulders! Plus the ramp is good, too.

Heidi, thanks.

Just got back from an hour and half drive to get my orthotics. Traffic wasn't too bad. Heidi, I take 225 so once again your instructions on getting to Children's Hospital came in handy. THANKS!

Good morning.

Mom - I didn't realize this, but after all this time going to the Childrens Hospital, we could have been going to the Disney Store. There is one in the Aurora mall at I-225 and Alameda.

Still feeling really crummy today. It doesn't help that I can't sleep when I am this congested.

Kaleigh has a dentist appointment today. She has a new tooth coming in and there is no room for it. They are going to decide today if they will pull the one next to it or use pallate expanders or maybe even both. I am not going the way I feel. So, Jerry is taking her himself. She is a little unsure of that cause she usually wants mommy when she is scared or nervous. I sure hope it goes OK.

I may have to do something I really don't want to do soon; put Hera to sleep. She has been with us almost 6 years. She is about 9 now. She has always peed on stuff she shouldn't. We have to keep our bedroom doors closed and I can't have throw rugs. She had been doing really well, but lately, she is peeing on everything that shouldn't be there according to Hera. She has peed on the blankets on the back of the basement couches and they have always been there. Saturday, she peed on a sweatshirt I had put on the ottoman in the living room when we got home from the store. I went to put it on later and it was wet. This morning, I found pee on the dining room table and the table runner. This is a place she normally likes to lay. But, I had put Kaleigh's birthday presents on the table since I didn't feel well enough to do anything with them. She couldn't pee on them, so she peed next to them. I can't take it anymore. I don't want her peeing all over stuff come Christmas! She is a very sweet cat otherwise, which is why this is going to be a difficult decision.
