Barb - OMGoodness, how scary. I am so glad Jason is okay. I could not imagine how terrifying that was.

Mom - I think you will be glad we didn't book 2000 and 2002, I just read that the laundry room is across from 2002.

Barb: It will take a while before you are back to normal. Just rest when your body says to. How scary about Jason, but at least he is OK. Glad to hear Jaymee is home!

The beautiful weather is gone. It is cloudy and 54. But hey, at least there is no snow!

I did another hour on the Wii yesterday. I am even doing the jog around the island and this girl DON'T jog! I like the step aerobics. I improved on all my yoga scores yesterday!

Happy Birthday Julie!

OH NO Barb. I am so sorry to hear about Jason. Thankfullly he is ok. Was it up here?

Heidi, the hallway traffic will still be heavy, darn it! Oh well, not much we can do about it now! People do laundry all times of the day and night.

Denine, I think the jogging was the worst part for me.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

HEY.... Does everyone still want to do the Christmas exchange? I will do the names around Thanksgiving if you want.

If you want to be in it just drop me a line. If you don't let me know too!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I have the day off and even with the remnants of Ida dampening my day, I plan to have a great day. Going for a massage, manicure/pedicure, and shopping outing later.

Everyone have a great day and remember to thank a veteran today for their sacrifices!

Hi all. Just thought I would do a quick post (update)... My brother is STILL in the Heart Center of our hospital. His heart beat is very irregular, so they are trying meds. first to try and get it back on track. If that doesn't work they are going to have to go in and "shock" his heart back into a reg. beat pattern. They are hoping NOT to crack his chest and open it to get his heart back on track. Just when they say he ISN'T a candidate for open heart surgery..... Oh well there is nothing I can do. Just hoping that this medicine they are giving him will do the trick! Keeping the fingers crossed!!! He still says he feels horrible and yesterday he was sick to his stomach so who knows.....

Well gotta run! I have to be up at the school today. The school has invited local vets. from the area and the school does a luncheon and an assembly for them for Veterans day. And once again... Makenzie was chosen by the principal to read her essay "What is the American Dream" at the assembly. She was chosen last year to read her essay( which was a different topic last year that I can't remember). These essays are then sent to National level and the 3 winners up at that level receive a $1000 scholarship. Not too bad that she was chosen 2 years in a row!!! There is a group of teachers who choose about 6 or so essays from the 4-6 graders and then the principal reads those 6 and chooses who she thinks is the best and has those 2 people read their essays during the assembly and then send them on to the state and national levels. We are very Proud of Makenzie!!! SO I have to jump in the shower so I can finish getting ready so I can get up there!

Oh yeah... she got STRAIGHT A's!!! 3 of those A's were A+'s!!!! Garry got all A's and a few B's. Brooke doesn't get "grades" but she got an awesome report as well! We are PROUD OF ALL OF THE KIDS!!!

Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Birthday Susan! Sounds like you have a great day planned!

Julie: Sorry to hear Bob is still in the hospital and having problems. I hope he recovers soon. Congrats to Makenzie!!!!

Today is nice and sunny and 52.

Taking Kaleigh later to get her pictures taken, finally.

We are going to be interviewed by our local paper about adoption. I need to call the reporter back.

I did another hour on the Wii yesterday! Kaleigh has been doing it too. We have Jazz and Hera programed into the game, so they show up at different times, like when we are biking or jogging. It is too cute!

Thank a Veteren today!

Back from Bible study, did a little farming and now ready for bed and another day of work.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.

Julie, prayers and pixie dust to your brother.

Barb, prayers and pixie dust to you too. This time you need to rest and NO housework. I saw your post on Facebook. This is nothing to be taking lightly. REST, REST, REST!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY Belated BIRTHDAY Susan I posted on FB, but forgot to come on here to send you some birthday wishes too. I hope you enjoyed your day.

Julie - keeping your brother in my prayers. That is awesome the kids are doing so well. Congrats to all of them.

Denine - How cool that you are going to be interviewed about adoption. Hopefully you can post the article for us to read too.

Barb - Feel better soon, get lots and lots of rest so your body can heal.

Hey everyone!

It is Thursday, I am tired and I work tomorrow. Looking foward to the weekend and some downtime.

The interview for the paper wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. Jerry and I were expecting an in-person interview of both of us, but all she did was ask some questions over the phone. We will see how it turns out. I was on the phone 10-15 minutes. I am guessing it will run this month. It is only a weekly paper.

I did my Wii for an hour again yesterday, I jogged for 24 minutes! I do like the step aerobics though. I just have the little tune stuck in my head!

We got Kaleigh pictures taken last night. We were there for 1-1/2 hours. They were soo busy! Jerry is going to pick them up after work. I didn't want to wait around for them. The pictures came out great as always.

Yankee Candle is having a buy 2 get 2 free sale on their large jars! I love their candles!

Not much else going on.

Denine - I hope you can post Kaleigh's new pictures! I cannot wait for the weekend either, I am so over this working thing! I am away from the house from 5:00-4:30 and it is such a long day.

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is everyone?

Well, I was exposed to h1N1 today, most likely. The other nurse was coming down with it. She had the headache and body aches, no fever yet though. I hope I don't get it! I don't think I will, but time will tell.

I was completely exhausted yesterday, so I rode the bike for a 1/2 hour and then some easy stuff on ther Wii for 30 minutes. I feel better today, so I should be able to do my hour when we get back from Kohl's.

No plans for this weeknd, just downtime.

Hi Denine! I was at an offsite meeting all the way by the airport, it was horrible! I hate driving an hour one way for a meeting when I usually drive only 15 minutes to work. Plus I had to fight rush hour traffic. TGIF! And guess what, it is snowing AGAIN! 2-6 inches by tomorrow night.

Heidi: You gys have been getting hit early this year and we have been having un believeably nice weather. Weird! I don't like those long drives either. It takes me 30 minutes each way to work and that's fine.

I LOST 4.2 pounds this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1: Jerry lost 2 pounds. I can't remember the last time I actually lost. I will do another hour on the Wii today. Unfortunately, Kaleigh lost 0.4 lbs. Now she is underweight. I will need to add more protein into her diet.

Jazzy scare me last night. He suddenly was in a lot of pain and couldn't hold up his back end. I was afraid he had developed a blood clot which can happen with his type of heart disease. I immediately gave him pain medicine. After a while of petting him and holding him, he was able to walk a bit. Well, this morning, I got up and he and Kaleigh came running out of the classroom!! He was obviously doing fine. I guess it was just really bad arthitis pain from something he did.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I did almost an hour of just aerobics this morning! I did my usual jog and step aerobics and then I decided to bike around the island. I was biking for almost 30 mintes. I was done when I finished! I LOVE the Wii! It is so much fun!

I can't believe how gorgeous it is outside. I have windows OPEN in Novemeber! It is in the mid to upper 60's! Can we keep this through the winter?

Hi guys, sorry I was MIA. Ted had Veterans Day off and took an additional two days off and we headed to the Embassy Suites again. It was nice to get away. Love having the pool and hot tub to ourselves. We got out and hiked to a waterfall. Ted was proud of me for getting to the top and quite honestly, I was too. He kept saying Heidi would be so proud.

Another snowy day. Ted is on call for snow plowing. They are predicting 7-12" today. He is taking a nap and I am trying to get caught up on the computer. I had 53 emails. Yikes!

Hope all is well with everyone.

Mom - I am so proud of you for hiking up to the top of the waterfall, that is a lot of stairs. I remember what a strenuous trek that was. Good job!!!!!!!! Thanks again for the Dunkin Donuts.

No, no, no Heidi. It wasn't that hike. The trails were closed IN Seven Falls so he told us how to go about getting to the back side. Nothing like what you did but thanks anyway!!

Hey guys!

HEIDI , BARB, and SANDY... are you guys in for the Christmas exchange this year? Just let me know.... I'm gonna do name next week and let everyone know who has who by next Sunday.

So far, Denine, Susan and us are in!
