Nope not yelling... just trying to get your attention! LOL!!!!

Like my banner/ticker???? YEAH!!!!!!

I figured since we are going out to dinner with Denine and Jerry next Saturday, we can do it then and I will let you all know then. What do you think?

Your ticker is AWESOME Julie. Another proud mom moment! Sure, you're the boss. Whenever you want to draw is ok with me and as far as I am concerned the sooner the better so we can SHOP and MAIL!! I'm getting excited.

Ok, so I'm bored and playing on the computer. Ted was called out to snow plow so I am home alone. I watched Bride Wars. That's a pretty good movie. I cried. Guess I will go and watch 48 hour mystery. Bye!

Well, it's me again but I have to have a bragging moment.

We woke up to Chris shoveling us out. I can't tell you how much we both appreciated that. My wish for all of you that have girls is that they marry someone as thoughtful and wonderful as Chris!

Hi everyone.

I've been lurking a lot lately. Just not in a chatty mood. Paul left this morning for Columbus, OH and then to Baltimore, MD late Tuesday night. I'll be like a single parent again this week.

My dad's gonna try to get his CT scan done Tuesday. He couldn't keep the contrast down on Thursday and they had to postpone it. We should get all the results Friday afternoon.

Sandy and Heidi, sorry about your snow. We are supposed to get to 77 today and bright and sunny! Now I'm bragging! Seriously, I'm glad you have Chris to be so thoughtful and help out. Good for you on the hike!

Julie, how's your brother? I have had him in my prayers.

Barb, are you taking it easy? I want to see you get well so you can really enjoy the holidays.

Denine, great job on the Wii and keep up the good work.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Susan, can we trade weather? 77 sounds perfect right about now! Pixie dust to your dad for Tuesday.

Happy Sunday!

Sandy: Good for you on the hike! I like to hike. It is j ust hard with Kaleigh since she can't go far. Maybe after all her Wii though, she will be able to!

Julie: Looking foward to Saturday. Can't drink to much though since we have to be up and at the church again the next morning. Wouldn't look good to be hung over and talking to people about adoption! LOL!

Susan: Pixie dust to your dad. I hope he can keep the contrast down this time.

Heidi: When does Chris graduate again? I can't remember.

Barb: Are you resting?

Sally: Are you sitting on Barb to make her rest? LOL!

Good morning! I thought I had posted yesterday, but I guess not! We ended up with a lot of snow but we had fun! We played out in the snow with the girls and had a blast. Chris built an igloo and the girls and I built a fort. It was a lot of work and my back and arm are now paying for it! We were out in the snow for about 3 hours just playing in it!

Denine - Chris graudates next semester with his associates and then he is moving on with his bachelor's. Your comments made me giggle this morning about Sally sitting on Barb and you not drinking so much because you can't be hung over talking about adoption in church! All your Wii talk got me motivated to start again, so I got out the balance board yesterday to find out the batteries are dead and we don't have any replacements....I tried and had good intentions!

Julie - Love your ticker, I hope she really likes it.

Susan - Prayers said for your dad. I am sorry you are not in a chatting mood, but thanks so much for posting. I hope next year is a better year for you.

Barb - Are you feeling better? Did it snow a lot down there?

It is Monday already. Why do the weekends always go so fast?

Glad I gave everyone a good giggle.

Heidi: Just buy new batteries and you can Wii too! So, it is getting closer for Chris!

I did another hour yesterday.

Not much going on here.

Good morning.

Came to work to find out the saddest thing. My coworker's sister in law was in an assisted living place and had the beginning stages of dementia, well Sunday night she went missing (this is the day we had the snowstorm) and she was found yesterday afternoon in an outside stairwell, they think she froze to death.

Heidi: That is every facilities worst nightmare. We have wanderguards for our wandering residents. If they get to where they shouldn't be, an alarm goes off. How awful for you co-worker.

Today is Tuesday, so I get my 2 hours to myself tonight. I get 2 hours a week to myself and this is it. Too bad Kaleigh has the month of December off from PSR.

I did another hour on the Wii yesterday! I hope it all pays off again come Saturdays weigh-in.

We got our flights for our April/May trip. We are flying out of Buffalo this time, unless prices come down at Columbus. We hate to drive 3-1/2 hours, but it is a lot cheaper. We can't even touch the Cleveland prices and they are not even non-stop!
Now we need to make hotel arrangements for Williamsburg for Homeschool days at then end of February.

Hey guys,

Heidi, that is horrible. I bet your coworker is having a hard time. How sad! And to think it was only the BEGINNING stage of dimentia. I always worried about Amy as did you. And now we have to worry about Pat.

Denine, enjoy your two hours. Whatcha gonna do?

Well our trip to the Springs cost me almost 3 pounds. The drinks are free so we always take advantage and worry about the weight later. But still I feel HORRIBLE! I want at least 10 off before Mexico and ALL of it by the MV.

Barb, if you are lurking this is for you. The traveling Disney Warehouse is in town again. It is back at Aspen Grove. Not sure if you went last time. Basically, it is C470 and Santa Fe (Hwy 85). Starts this Thursday.

A quick update from me:

My Dad had trouble keeping the contrast down again today but they did do the CT scan anyway just to see what they could get. Friday afternoon we get all the test results.

Heidi, Sorry to hear about your co-workers SIL. That is so sad.

Sandy, I know you will lose. You have such will-power when you set a goal.

Denine, I hope you had a great 2 hours to yourself.

Barb, I hope you are getter well!! Give us an update!

Julie, Miss you. Hope all is well. How's your brother?

Denine and Julie - Just a reminder I am coming to Cleveland December 4-6 for a hockey weekend. I still don't have hotel details or the games times yet but I do know we are taking a bus with the whole team so we waon't have a car. I hope you guys can come visit when I get the details for you.

Today's temps were 10-15 degress cooler and clouds have moved in. So much for our upper 70s this past weekend and Monday.

I'm thinking hard about getting a Wii. Denine, you are inspiring me.

Susan - I hope the results are ok. I am so jealous that there is another opportunity for you, Julie, and Denine to meet up!

Nothing much to say today. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. Every day I leave work thinking it was a long day and then think where did November go, it flew by!

Susan: I hope your dad gets good results on Friday! Just let us know the details for that weekend. I am sure we can get together. Hopefully Julie can join us this time too!

I did another hour on the Wii yesterday. I actually like the jogging. I like that you can take different paths around the island just by following a different dog or cat (depending on which jog you do.) You just pass up your leader when an animal passes and you get to go another way, even though it says not to pass your leader. I am thinking about getting the extensions for the balance board for the step aerobics since there only seems to be the one level on advanced step. I don't care for the yoga, but I have been doing it to strengthen and tone. I did a couple of strength training things too. I ususally do 30-40 minutes of aerobics and then the yoga, balance and whatever else I feel like doing.

I worked on my needlework while Kaleigh was gone last night. I turned on the fireplace, lit some candles, made some tea and worked on my castle. I will finish it someday. I just can't do it with Kaleigh around, she either talks too much or just stares over my shoulder. Either way, I can't concentrate.

Tomorrow is a home school program at the park. We will go if it doesn't rain. It is about camping.

I still need to take Kaleigh for her 3 month chest x-ray. It is a follow-up to her pneumonia this summer. Plus I need to pick up medicine for Jazzy at the vet. They are both back in Strongsville, so I want to do them together.
