Denine, I didn't catch about Kaleigh and her math. Congrats! Good luck for the chest xrays.

This is crazy. I am running around in a sweatshirt getting ready for SUMMER vacation. Hard to know how to pack!

Getting off work now, not sure if I will be able to say goodbye since our computer is dead at home and it might be a little chaotic at my parent's house so..........

GOODBYE! Have a great 2 weeks.

Sandy and Heidi, have a Great and Safe trip! I hope you will be able to post alittle while you are gone. I hope the thread will survive while you guys are gone. I will try and do my part, but I can't promise a post everyday:(

hi Susan, Barb, and Denine! I sure miss Sally too!

Bye Heidi and Sandy. Have a fantastic trip. Post and keep in touch if you can. If not, we'll expect a trip reort when you return

Julie, Denine, Barb - I will try to post at least every other day if I can't do it daily. We can't let our little home hear die out. I'll put off farming to do my part.

Paul has been in Maryland since Monday and is coming home in the morning. Turner is at the beach with Hailey's family and will be home Saturday afternoon. I am here with Stanley and he is sleeping and snoring so loud. It's hilarious.

later guys

Sorry but it isn't goodbye. We have MAJOR problems with our trailer and can't leave. Can't get it on the truck even. It is the hydraulic system. One that they have worked on before. I swear that it should be considered a lemon under the lemon law. It isn't even a cheap brand. It is in the RV world like a Cadillac. I feel they should rent us something. Anyway, we sit here until tomorrow and figure out what's next. They have to fly out a pump and that will take a couple of days and then work on it. This isn't the first pump they have replaced. Do we wait and hopefully just go to Canada? Wait till next summer? Go to Mexico instead? Poor guys are dealing with some sad wives.

I'm SOOOOO sorry Sandy. :sad2: That is just terrible. I know how much you guys have been looking forward to this trip. Keep us posted and I hope something fun and adventurous works out for you soon.

OH NO Sandy, how awful. I would be so upset. I hope it works out!

We have a new record; the fish are still alive!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :fish::fish:

Kaleigh lost a tooth this morning.

We get to go out tonight! Jen is coming over at 6 PM and Jerry and I are going out to Smokey Bones for dinner and then meeting Jen's parents after for drinks. We haven't been out in soo long.

Susan: Sounds sort of quiet at your house. :dog2:

Julie: How is your dad?

UPDATE......we MAY be leaving soon. May NOT be the hydraulic system. Battery tested bad so the guys are replacing it now. The part of the battery we could test was perfect but the part we can't test for came back immediately with a replace. Cross your fingers. If you don't hear from us we are on the road.

I hope Sandy and Heidi are on the road. I know that sounds less expensive of a repair as well.

So, Kaleigh finally lost her tooth. Does she miss it? I know she was enjoying playing with it!:rotfl:Give her a big hug from me!

Yes it has been quiet. Paul got home just a little while ago. He is tired and heading to bed. Turner come home tomorrow.

Went with my Dad to a doctor's appt. His PSA tripled and teh cancer does not appear to responding to hormone therapy anymore. We are going to a special oncologist next Friday to see what his new treatment options are. Not looking good. Please keep him in your prayes for me. Thanks

My farming is done and I am going to read a little before heading to bed.

Later!

Just like the song says, ON THE ROAD AGAIN! After leaving 8 hours late we arrived further down the road. We were going to stop at Thermopolos originally and just kept going once we hit it. We are in Cody Wyoming. Got here around 11 last night. Great timing on the road. Now no laughs but Walmart allows people to stay for free so that is where we are. Why pay for a campground for so little time? Anyway headed out of here soon. No problems yet but we haven't taken it off the truck. Stopped by the dealership on our way out and they showed us how to do do things manually in case we have problems.

After calming down and really thinking about it, our dealership is the best. It is the manufacturer that we need to deal with. Even with the lemon law we would be suing the manufacturer. (I did research after all I had 8 hours to do so). The dealership printed out every single work order they have for us and what they did for the problem.

I am rambling and should be cleaning up the trailer to close it down. I want to take pictures of the truck and trailer camping out at Walmart. LOL

Sandy: Glad you made it on the road! Hope you don't have any more problems and have a wonderful trip.

We had a really nice time Friday night. Food was great and we had a nice time with our friends over drinks.

We spent the day at Cedar Point yesterday. It was packed! Came home to find one of the fish dead. :confused3 It was fine yesterday morning. Then Kaleigh came on our room this morning to say the other one was too.
We are done with fish. Granted, they were "feeder" gold fish, but they had clean water and I only fed them a tiny bit once a day. Three fish dead in 1 week? I will stick with cats.

Rainy this morning, but supposed to clear out later.

Didn't get on my farm at all yesterday. Hope I didn't lose anything.

Susan: Sorry to hear about your dad. Sending pixie dust.

Both Paul and Turner are now home.

We are cleaning carpets today. I'm putting them to work.:lovestruc

I think we brought the Ohio weather back home with us. We have had clouds and rain most of the week. Not that I am complaining, since we were in a drought the past few years.

My best friend's nephew (17 yrs old) was in a very bad accident yesterday morning in Pennsylvania. She flew ut last night and they have a vigil at the hospital. He has severe internal injuries, his skull is fractured in 3 places, he has bleeding and swelling in his brain, his ribs are broken, his jaw is broken, his femur has 2 fractures. It sounds really bad. I feel so bad for them and don't know what more I can do but pray for him and all of them to be strong.:sad1: She is supposed to call me later today with an update.

Well, back to helping the guys with the carpets before I get caught on the computer.

Good Morning

Doing my part keeping the board alive.:teeth:

Didn't do to much this weekend. Stayed home and cleaned Sat & Sun.

Friday I found out one of my friends that I have know since high school almost died. She is holding her own now. She has "Broken Heart Syndrome" The doctor said it is the worst case he has ever seen. I guess the muscles in her heart stopped working. Her blood pressure spike to 200 over some thing. Her lungs filled up with fluid. They had to put a balloon in her heart and she has been on a ventilator. It hit me so hard I was beside myself on Friday. Cried over everything. She is to young to be that close to death because of a heart problem. I keep thinking how easily that could be me. With the stress I have been under over the past 2 years. I only sleep about 4 hours a night because I spend a lot of time worrying.

Susan- I am so sorry about your friends son. How is he doing? What a terrible thing for them to go through. Prayers for him.:littleangel:

Denine- Cedar Point sounds fun. Have some fun memories of there when I was a kid.

Sandy-YAY! Glad you got to go. I will miss you. You have a way of making me feel better when things are bothering me. Have a wonderful time!

Julie-Are the kids gearing up for school? Ethan starts this week already.

Barb: I am sorry about your friend. I hope she gets better.

Susan: I hope your friend's nephew gets better, but it doesn't sound good. Pray for a miracle.

Supposed to be a nice day today.

Kaleigh has her last library progam for the summer this evening. The ending program is next Friday morning. You had to earn a ticket for that one.

Poor Jazzy had another epsiode with his heart a little while ago. I have a call into the vet to see what she wants me to do.

When is life going to settle down?

Barb - so sorry to hear about your friend. That sounds horrible. As we get older it seems like these things seem to happen more often and touch closer to home too much. I'll keep her in my prayers -- I have a lot of extra prayers going on lately for dear friends and their loved ones.

My friends nephew tried to open his eyes today but they didn't want that yet so they further put him under so his brain can rest and hopefully heal. My friend sent me a text message asking me to pray for his return to good health and that he "stays smart". She is so worried about brain damage. I am hoping each day is good news. They (the family) have not left the hospital. The doctors said it wasn't safe to be gone that long at this time. Denine, you're right, it does not sound good.

Sorry to hear about Jazzy (and the other 2 fish). Hope Jazzy is better tomorrow.

I hope Sandy and Heidi are having a great trip.

Heading to bed. Need some ZZzzzZZZzzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:to all my friends!

Good Morning

Always a scary thing when I come in at 6:00 and overtime is already being offered.:scared1: What kind of day am I going to have?

Susan- Prayers for your friends son. What happened in the accident? Was there another car involved?

Denine-How is your kitty? When do you start school again? When is your next trip to Disney? Seems lately we go around the same time!

Julie-You must be out enjoying the summer!

Barb: Your right, it is never good when they offer overtime that early in the morning.

Jazz is doing better today. I talked to the vet and she said to give him a 3rd dose of lasix last night, so I did. He goes back next week and we are going to do xrays of his heart to determine size and shape and hopefully get some medicine to hlp his heart instead of just taking some of the load off.
Poor Kaleigh is so afraid she is going to lose Jazz too. Frankly, I am too, but we sure are trying.

We won't start school until the end of the month most likely. This will let Kaleigh have some summer. I am sure she will be bored by then. Heck, she has already read most of her reading books for the year! Plus, all the books and videos she gets from the library are science related. They have these titles called Eyewitness. They are videos and books. She loves them all, no matter the topic.

We go back to WDW 9-24 until 10-6. Kaleigh's birthday is 9-25.

Hope the travelers are enjoying themselves.

Julie: I bet the kids are living in the pool

Barb - at least you get overtime. I just got home from work after a 12 hour day. We have some people in from Minn. and San Fran. and we started east coast 8:00am and ended west coast 5:00pm. Same tomorrow but at least the evening is a dinner meeting so I will get fed. Today was a pack of cheese crackers for lunch and McDonalds on the way home for dinner.

My friends nephew is 17 and was speeding "excessively". Not sure how fast that really was. He lost control and hit a tree. No one was in the car with him. He had just taken a friend home from his house Saturday morning and was coming back home. No reason to be in a hurry except he is 17 and theydon't think about these things. I think this has bothered me so much since Turner got his permit a couple of months ago. I am trying to use it as a learning lesson for him. My friend sent me a note today that they took the stint out (I am assuming that is in the head). They are reducing the sedation and hopefully he will begin to wake up. He needs to have surgery on his jaw and his femur but until now they have not been able to do it. If all goes well they will discuss that tomorrow.

Denine - more pixie dust for Jazzy.

I'm going to go check the farm and then head to bed. Tomorrow will be another long day.

:scared1:

Good Morning!

Susan-That is so sad about your friends son. You're right about the "17" thing. I hope it does really hit home with Turner. He seems like a pretty responsible kid.

I went to see my friend last night. She is off almost everything and should be going home in a few days!! :cool1: Part of her stress, well 99% of it is caused by her youngest daughter. Her daughter is married to a total Loser! and is on the wrong path herself. To make a long long long story short my friend now has custody of their 2 kids. One is 2 the other is 8 months. The daughter LOSER husband also has a baby with his girlfriend. The baby is 9 months. The LOSER husband and his girlfriend beat the baby near death. She has severe head injurys now and has been in a coma since the beginning of July. I cried when I heard I can not understand anyone that can do that to a baby. They took the baby to hospics this past week. She will most likely die there. My friends daughter is so disconnected from everything she only refers to the baby as "That baby" there are drugs involved not to mention theft and other things.

One of the girls that I work with, son's, girlfriend's, friend was in a bad car accident. He hydroplane and it threw their veh into a tree. They had 3 kids in the car. The baby (18 months) was killed instantly. The Mom is serious condition just about every bone in her body is broken. She is in and out of conciousness. Dad and the other 2 kids are ok. I have no idea who they are but I am so sad for the Mom. She not only has a long long road of recovery but she will be dealing with the loss of a child. I can't even imagine the pain she will be in. Since she is in such bad condition, they have not told her about the baby. :sad1:

On a happier note, Ethan starts school this week. He was suppose to be there today but he is camping with his aunt and uncle and cousins. From what I understand Ethan is quite the camper. He is having so much fun. He will be back today then we have tickets to a baseball game tonight. He will probably be good and worn out but he will have fun.

Today is Bob's birthday. Hoping to go to Denver next week and have dinner with Jason and Michelle to celebrate. It is so hard trying to coodinate our schedules!

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!
