Survivor 50 Thread

I like the person who was voted off, and think it was a smart vote. There are a few others I hope to see voted off next mostly newer players, some of whom have been mentioned by pp.

Ozzie looks like he is gaining some steam. In the beginning I thought he looked weak compared to the younger Ozzie. He is currently my nostalgic favorite. Stephanie was a fav in the past, hope she makes it far.

I was hoping for Coach to go out but when Tiff said "I'm so sorry sis" I had a feeling that plan to get out Coach wasn't going to work. I wish it had.

Yet again Emily blabs what she knew.

The so-called middle group of people I'm interested to see how they progress sometimes ignoring too much of the people in the middle means one or more of them can rise up undetected.

Yes, Emily is being really annoying, which is too bad. I like her. I am actually not as annoyed with Riz this time. It's just Coach.
I don't like Rizo but he did employ social awareness fast and pivoted to his gameplay. At least in that he caught on that in this season there's too many players that are more well-known and he couldn't play it the same, at least for a while, the way he did in his season. Poignant that he was telling the cameras about why Coach was not playing a smart game.

Cirie is known for bringing people along, convincing them that they are at the table when they were really just steps behind her so I'm trying to figure out if she is genuinely working with Rizo, thinking endgame or if she's getting him far enough along where they can protect each other til the point comes that they won't.

I read that Cirie and Rizz know each other, from before game.

Not sorry to see Dee go. Wouldn't have been sorry if it was Coach, either, but I find him entertaining. Weird, but entertaining.

Aubry was stupid with the idol. All she had to say was, I'm doing what's best for my game, and held on to it.

Glad to see Ozzie catching a few breaks--he's not such a stand-out threat this season, and it seems to be working for him.

Go, Steph! I love her!

Entertaining is not how I describe Coach. Egotistical butt hole would be my description.

I wonder if this season is more entertaining because we know the Survivors or if it's because of the twists and turns that the audience voted to have.
I think that this season is entertaining because they have people who are really good at the interviews. Christian, Devins, Coach, Rizo, and Cirie are very interesting to listen to.

Tiff was right when she called Coach a hypocrite. He talks about honor but he isn't at all honorable.

These are all experienced players yet most of them can't keep their mouths shut when it comes to keeping secrets about their advantages. The idea of gaining trust by telling a secret is a huge mistake. I can't believe all the people falling for it.

IMO it's the old era vs new era where the old era players are trying to stick around if they can. Well I should say that with at least a decent amount of players, others are just making bad mistakes.

The way the new era evolved was telling secrets/idols/advantages wasn't nearly as big of a problem, it could curry favor up until you needed it to and then over the seasons loyalty to just one maybe another alliance down the road wasn't the "right" way to play. The players adapted and stopped seeing one alliance from beginning to end as the thing to do.

The old era was secrets were power, knowing you had an idol was reserved most often for just the very loyal alliance members. I think that's why many viewers started seeing idols as not as much of a big thing in later seasons.

The thing I don't like about them bringing back Emily is that she's a wasted player and in this respects to what you said above the players aren't paying attention to the game enough here with her. After the 2nd time of several players hearing that Emily told so and so such and such it should have been seen that she's not the person to tell things to, alliance or not, new era or not because it means they don't see how much she could wreck their own gameplay. I'm sure they think she won't win so they haven't seen her as someone to vote out.
