Hi, everyone. Posting from Myrtle Beach. The wireless is spotty and when it's working it is very slow. Farming is not an easy task. The farm may have to wait til we get home next weekend.

The farm is also why I haven't posted here in a while. I am addicted to the farm.:confused3This is madness.

Hang in there, Julie. Will keep your mom and dad in my prayers and of course you too!

Supposed to rain tomorrow so may go to the movies. The beach is great but not in the rain. The fireworks up and down the beach were so beautiful last night. Mostly amateurs but lasted for about 2 hours or more.

Hopefully, I'll get back on this week.

Love you guys and miss you all too.

Susan: Glad to hear from you. Yes, the farm is very addicting and Jerryt hinks I am nuts.

So sad about the monorail tragedy.

Went to my parents and had a nice time.

Yesterday when we were working in the yard we saw a coyote go through the yards. We see them every now and then.
This morning at church, there was a bat on the building. Kaleigh spotted it, very cool. It flew off soon after.

Good Morning!

Susan your post cracked me up. So glad I am not alone! I spend a lot of time farming. I have a farm in Farm town and one in Farmville. One of my crops was not even with another one, it bugged me so much I had to redo it.

Well our garage door spring broke AGAIN. This is the 3 time we have had to replace the spring. Anyone know how long the springs normally last? Seems ours don't make it much past 2 years. One more %#$&* expense!

Julie-How are your parents?

Sandy-Did the fireworks go off on Saturday? We didn't even bother because it was raining like crazy in the Springs.

Heidi-What did you do for the 4th? I don't remember reading what your plans were.

Susan-Sounds like a wonderful 4th for you. I bet the fireworks were beautiful reflecting on the water.

Denine-:rotfl: I have my farm open all day but have to keep leaving when I get calls. Darn calls interfering with my farming!:rotfl:

Barb: There is something wrong when work interupts farm time! :rotfl2:

I don't know what to do. Kaleigh had a cold. She has had that cough since the cold, in June. I have been giving her breathing treatments. This morning it is worse. I think she needs to be seen. She has wheezing when she inhales and exhales. It can be heard only with a stethascope. Now for the problem. Our doctor left the practice he was in and where our charts still are. I tried calling his new office, but he doesn't start seeing patients until Thursday. So, I called the old office. I can't get her in until Wednesday at the earliest. So, the only other option is the ER. But, it isn't an emergency. Jerry and I decided that I will give her another treatment before I take her to see if it helps. I hate going to the ER for something like this, but I can't get her in to see a doctor. I don't want it to become and emergency. You would think I should know what to do since I am an RN, but I am also frugal and don't want another ER bill.

Kaleigh has a library program this evening and baseball games this week.

She says she feels fine except for the cough.

Decided not to take Kaleigh. She is receiving her 3rd treatment of the day and will get a 4th before bed. She is doing better, but we will see.

Poor Kaleigh. Keep us posted Denine.

Ok, SUSAN AND BARB, farming does not come before your family HERE!! GOT IT? Yes, I am yelling.

Barb, believe it or not the fireworks DID go off. We were shocked. We didn't watch them from the campground because we didn't think they would light them. At about 9:20 we could hear them going off but the cloud cover was so low. Strange. Hey, we found a yummy place to go to eat in Palmer Lake. I read about it in the Denver Post. It is called B&E. They have a website. Not good for kids though. Unique yummy food. We had breakfast there and it is only served on Sundays. They are known for their dinners. Heidi was at the campground for the 4th with us.

Bad day for most of us today. Took Tyler to the doctor with Stacey because he has a rash all over. Doctor doesn't know what it is....probably virus. Ted lost the camper keys, ate lunch out with Stacey and kids. She realized for the first time she forgot to grab Tyler's meds. Tyler spilled his cream so we had to throw it out in order to get the proper amount. Heidi ran to Sam's to buy more cream, Ted and I ran to Target to get a scale to weigh his new cream, Stacey ran to Kings for something else. Met up at our house to get the right amount of cream and then Stacey had to dash home to get his meds. We set out to find someone to make camper keys. Found one lock store that made us one but they aren't sure it will work. I think we are all exhausted. LOL

A fence company is here right now measuring our lot for a new fence. Been here for 33 years and need a new one. All neighbors agreed to help pay......we shall see when we ask for payment if that happens. Sure hope because I think it could be expensive. We originally put it in but don't want to this time around.

Clouds are coming in now but I think it will go over. We will be in the mid 90's the rest of the week.

Better run and hear the bad news of the price. Hugs to all.

Good morning to all my Dis family. Had a good weekend but was wet! I did go down to the campground with my parents. Most of the weekend was crazy, but we did have a couple of moments that were relaxing. I rented some movies, went on a shopping spree, and spent time with the family. Tomorrow Chris's niece is flying out to visit us for a week so I will be busy cleaning and doing laundry tonight!

Julie - How is your mom and dad doing?

Susan - I would have loved to watch the fireworks on the beach, I bet that was beautiful.

Denine - how is Kaleigh feeling today?

Barb - Yes, my poor farm is dead! I will have to start again tonight. Stacey's wireless at the campground is way too slow so I couldn't even load Farm Town. I tried every day and then one day I got in and saw everything was dead. Boo Hoo!

Good Morning!

Wow Sandy your family really takes care of one another! AWESOME! I know how challenging this situation is with Tyler but to having such a loving family is blessing!

Well looks like our hot water is on the way out. keeps shutting off. so most of the time we go without hot water.

Just want you to know I came here before I went to my farm this morning!! Hummm wonder how my crops are doing

Denine-Hope Kaleigh princess: is doing better today.:hug:

Ethan has his t-ball party tonight. We made bags for the kids and ordered cupcakes. Gone are the days where I actually MAKE the cupcakes!

Heidi-I miss you!! :sad1:

Sandy: Sounds like a nutty weekend. Hope the fence isn't too much $$$$$.

Kaleigh is about the same this morning. SHe was do ing better as the day went on and kept getting the medicine to keep her airways open. Of course since she didn't have any treatments overnight, she is coughing to beat the band again. Her lungs don't sound wuite so wheezy though. She has had 1 treatment so far.

Kaleigh has a t-ball game tonight and it won't get rained out!

I always check in here before I go to my farm!

Yeah, I think we are grounded, Barb. I guess we deserve it. This family should always come before any other internet site!! Thanks, Sandy, for bringing us back to earth!

Funny thing - ground-ed, earth - all sounds like farming to me! Need to plow! Need to plant! Must resist!:lmao:

I can't get on farmtown anyway. Same problem Heidi was having with slow internet. Took me an hour to get on the DIS.

Heading out to the beach for the day. Got my book and we rented an umbrella and chairs so no real reason to come!

Somehow I pulled something in my back yesterday so I am slow getting around. Went to play miniature golf last night and Turner had to bend down and get my ball out of the hole for me each time. I hate getting older!

I'll touch base again when I can.

:grouphug:

Barb - I love homemade cupcakes, much different than the store bought, but the kids these days will never experience that. lol! Glad you came here before your farm, hope your crops made it okay!!! First the garage door spring, now your hot water tank.....I hope nothing else happens. At least in the summer you don't need too much hot water!

Susan - Enjoy your vacation, the beach sounds fabulous!

OMG Susan I started cracking up when I read this. The people around me probably think I lost it! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::
lmao::lmao::lmao::rotfl::rotfl::lmao::lmao::

Andy (verandah man) is as bad as we are!:rotfl:

If I could get on during work, I am sure I would be just as addicted!

:hug:Hi guys, sorry that I had to slap you upside the heads, Barb and Susan, to wake you up but it does seem like I got across to you!:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I want to scream so bad right now. Richard (again) wasn't thinking and he gave Joey and Tyler a bath last night. They have always and I did too with my twins, give them their baths at the same time. Since Tyler's seizures and the change of toiletries, Stacey lets them play in the water, then she washes up Tyler, gets him out, puts lotion on him and then tends to Joey. That way there is no cross contamination of soaps. Well, last night Stacey had a pampered chef party so Richard gave the baths. He didn't listen and soaped up Joey first. Tyler is having seizures now. Geez, will he ever pay attention????? I would just love to kick him in the rear!!!

I didn't watch Michael Jackson's memorial. Did anyone here?

Susan, it does suck getting older. Man, poor Heidi has to figure out what I am saying and fill in the words for me. Sheez, I was so bad this weekend. Enjoy the water. Maybe that will help your back relax.

Denine, I can't imagine Kaleigh going for tball practice with a cough like that. I remember my nephew would cough so bad when he ran.

Barb, I LOVE Andy. So he is a farmer, too?! I see on the DISfarmers that one is Cristi that Heidi and I are friends with. Heidi lives a stones throw away from her house. We met on the DISboards. She was at Heidi's wedding.

Julie and Garry, :hug:hope things are getting easier with mom and dad.

Mom - When is Rich ever going to pay attention? Poor Tyler, he was doing so good this weekend. I want to go knock Rich upside the head.

I listened to MJ's memorial on my lunch break. It was so sad to see his daughter stand up and talk. Brooke Shields had a great speech and Cory Feldman is just plain weird! He dressed up like MJ.

Heidi, I don't mean to be rude but I know he thinks that our toiletry buy was stupid. Now maybe he doesn't.

Corey Feldman spoke? That guys really is a weirdo. Haven't heard that name for a long time. I only saw the VERY end and the only thing I saw was Michael's daughter attempting to talk. That was soooooo sad.

Poor Tyler. I'm so sorry to hear about the seizures again. Hopefully he will get it now!!!

My back is some better and yes it felt much better whe I was in the water. I can't believe my vacation is half over already.

Not much to say just wanted Sandy to see me post!!;) Love ya, mean it!

(Still want to farm. Still want to farm. Can't get it to load. I'll keep trying. Won't give up. Don't laugh too hard Barb!):rotfl2:

I forgot to add, Susan. You made me laugh. I can't believe you still remember love ya, mean it. Heidi and I close our emails that way.
