I am back for now.

It has been a crazy week!
We cam home from vacation to a sick cat and a fridge that wasn't working. Plus we had the garage sale.
The fridge is fixed and the garage sale went great.
I took Jazz to the vet this morning and he has colitis. It has nothing to do with his previous problems. He is still at the vet so they can get a urine sample then I will go pick him up and start his antibiotics. I just need him to stop making messes on the floor!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to Virginia this weeked. I need to get the petsitter again. I just hope the ATB's kick in before we leave or we are going to come home to a disaster!

Heidi: How is Tyler today? When do your parents come home?

Barb: Qatar is fairly safe as far as that area is concerned isn't it?

We had an interesting time at Makenzie's party Saturday. Garry and Anna Marie were giggling the whole time. I think we separate them the next party.

I can't think of anything else right now.

I just talked with my sister and she was able to get a full meal down him last night and this morning. She came up with freezing and dyeing the cream and putting it in a popsicle mold. I guess he likes it that way, so that might be a good way to get cream down him for awhile!

My mom came back yesterday morning, a little after 1:00am.

Have fun at Virginia, that sounds like a lot of fun. Glad your garage sale went off good and that Makenzie's party was full of giggles!

Chris is so sweet, he switched cars with me today and is detailing my car for an early birthday present.

Heidi: It sounds like Stacey is going to have to get very creative in order for Tyler to eat his food.

I forgot to mention that I loved the way you surprised the girls.

The vet hasn't called yet, but at least we are able to get school in.

We're back. You guys have been chatty so I am sorry if I miss something.

Sounds like Denine and Barb had a good Disney vacation.

Denine, what a way to come home from vacation.....a sick cat and a refrig on the brink. Hope your garage sale paid off for you.

Garry and Julie, wow, your baby will be in Kindergarten. WOW! JA kindergarten dance, :lmao: how cute! Julie, way to go catching the foul ball!:thumbsup2 Garry, sorry to hear about your back. Hope it's better by your vacation.

Barb, that's so cute about Kara. We need to see another picture!!!!!! How's your mom and dad doing? We will keep Jaymee in our prayers. Glad that you Know WHEN you will see her, I am sure that helps. Good for Tiffany. Glad she can keep her job and bounce between the two states. Is she at Chapel Hills?

Hugs to all, going to go check out my pictures.

Great pictures! So, did you do the zip line?

Supposed to be nice today, 71 and sunny, but it always takes all day to warm up.

We were able to work in the garden some last night. All the dirt has to be turned over and the weeds gotten rid of. Then I need to amend the soil with compost and sweet peat. Then maybe I can plant. We can never plant tender things until Memorial Day anyway and it is early this year. So, maybe next weekend. We earned enough at the garage sale to replace the dead tree and get some shrubs. Kaleigh earned $50! I also need a couple of hostas and flowering plants for my shade garden. I would like to get some rose bushes for the front yard too. I will just have to see how far the money can stretch.

Today is a "normal" day for a change. Kaleigh has t-ball tonight.

Jazzy has 2 doses of ATB in his system now. I sure hope this works!

Checking back in...

I caught up reading the last several weeks of posts and see a lot of you have been on some great vacations. Glad everyone had some fun and relaxation. We've done a little teraveling too but as always it was for hockey. BTW, Turner was ranked 4th in the Southeastern District for goalies at his age group and will be attending a national tournament at Kent State in late July. I think that is pretty close to Denine and Julie. Am I right? Maybe, I'll get a chance to stop in. We'll see...

I am sneding many prayers to Tyler. I can't imagine how hard this is for him and everyone else trying to help him. Lots of love and pixie dust being sent his way!

School is almost out and Turner will have finished his 1st year of high school. He is going to go for his driver's permit next week and that has me very nervous!!!

The best news of all is that I did not lose my job and I did not have to take a pay cut!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana: That takes a lot of stress off of our household!

Gotta run. Turner needs to rest the router. He is having trouble getting online from his laptop.

Everyone take care. Love to all.

Hey Susan! I'm glad to hear you got to keep your job and didn't get a pay cut!! Yeah for you!!!! What a stress relief for sure!

Yep! Kent State is really close by. As a matter of fact, Denine went to college there. So maybe we could hook up for a lunch or something. Just let us know when you are going to be in our neck of the woods.

My kids will be done with school soon too! Then we are going to WDW for 2 weeks.

Been busy with end of the year things and me with getting things around for our trip. I have gotten our suitcases out and I have a list of things I'm packing. There really isn't too much to pack since we have our lockers, but just clothes and small things.

Garry is acting Chief this week. He is soooooo needing this vacation!

Well gotta fly! See you later!

Susan - I am so glad you didn't lose your job or have a pay cut!! That is great news. What ever happened with the car accident and the insurance company? Are you still feeling the effect of the accident?

Julie - I bet Gary is counting down the days, just like I am! I still haven't started packing yet! I am so excited to say that we will be leaving for the cruise next week!!!!

Good Morning!

Welcome back Sandy. Love the pictures and the way you and Ted dress alike!
I will send you the cutest video of Kara laughing now that you are home.

Denine-Good news about the garage sale! Hope your kitty gets better.

Heidi-That was really sweet what Chris did!

Julie-WOOHOOO DISNEY!!!! I need to get some information from you on the lockers. I think we are going to get one in December. Especially now that I only get one suitcase!

Susan-Good to hear from you so often. Congrats to Turner! Glad you didn't lose your job!!

Heidi & Sandy-Do you want to meet for lunch sometime this summer?

Susan: Congrats on not losing your job. Yep, I went to Kent. Just let us know when you will be in town. It would be great to get together.

Beautiful day today, 80 and sunny.

Jazzy seems to be improving. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The vet said it is most likely stress induced colitis.

Barb: The Owner's Locker is awesome! We have 1 and Julie has 2. Packing is sooo much easier now.

Julie: How is Chief Garry doing this week?

I have a meeting at work this afternoon.

Sandy: Have you recovered from your tip yet?

Barb - I am up for lunch this summer, of course I can only do it on my days off which is every other Friday.

Denine - Glad Jaz is doing better.

One of the girls text me last night and wrote, "I am so excited for the cruise, that is all I can think about." How cute!!!!

Susan, I am sooooo excited for you keeping your job. Way to go! And then there is Turner. I bet you are sooooo proud of him. We all knew he would go a long way and it is coming true. That is so not fair that you might have lunch with Denine and Julie. SO NOT FAIR!!!!!

Barb, the funny part is that Ted and I didn't plan it that way. I told him to bring an old tshirt that he could throw away as I had read that IF it is raining on a zip that the grease from the lines drip. He took that one. I packed an old tank to throw away for the same reason. We left the resort not even realizing we were dressed alike until our guide said something. LOL. Lunch????? You betcha!!!

Denine and Julie, bet those lockers definitely come in handy especially when you have families.

Heidi, cute text from Emily or Amanda!

My foot seems to be paying for me running around since we have been home. I am wearing my tennis shoes since we got home and perhaps I should have stayed in my brace and boot. I thought I was ready because my water sandals (Keens) worked great in CR. By the way, if anyone wants to put some good money into water shoes, I highly recommend Keens.

Today is such a weird weather day. We have had 90 degree weather this week and then today we have already hit our high at 5:00am of 58 degrees.

My DH has been surprising me all week, he is calling it my birthday week. My birthday is next Friday but we are leaving for vacation then so he decided to make this week my birthday week. Monday he surprised me and detailed my car, inside and out. Tuesday he had a card, an Itunes gift card, and a Tinkerbell figurine. Yesterday he had another card and a gift certificate for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures so that my mom and I can go together next week. Today he is taking me out to dinner to the Cheesecake Factory (my favorite place). I am so surprised! He said he is making up for missing my birthday last year, which was totally understandable because we were both going crazy with the wedding at that time.

Heidi: How sweet. And to think I was excited this morning because Jerry separated all the laundry into piles to make it easier for me.

We leave in the morning for Virginia. We will come home on Monday.

It was so beautiful yesterday and more of the same for today. Perfect weather.

Sandy: Sounds like you had an awesome vacation. I would really love to go to CR again, but stay a week this time.

That's about it for me.

Denine, have a great time. We will miss you!

Heidi, that is sooooo sweet of Chris. I couldn't believe your phone call. What a good guy.

We are headed to the campground tonight. Saturday we have my nephew's graduation.

For anyone that watches American Idol. What did you think? I won't say anything quite yet in case someone was unable to watch it.

Sandy: I am taking my computer with me.

Have fun at the campground!

Sandy: I am taking my computer with me.

Me too.:thumbsup2

It's suppose to be a rainy, cold weekend. Yuck. It's hard to plan for the outdoor graduation with the wet weather and my foot.

It's just plain cold out right now. Monument will be worse. Any ideas how Stacey could get used tap and ballet shoes? I tried a used kids store, a used sports store, Craigs list, ebay.

Hi guys!

Sandy, have Stacy look into different dance studios because some have used tap shoes and other shoes that are being sold by other parents. Also, some dance supply stores sell used shoes, at least around here. Payless Shoe Source around here sells those dance shoes pretty cheap. Hope this an help a little.

Well, yesterday was Makenzie's choir concert and she did great! It was a "music through the years" type of show and they had to dress in the 50's, 60's or 70's. SO, I ended up making Makenzie a poodle skirt yesterday so she had a costume. They didn't want parents to go out and buy anything or make anything, but Makenzie asked me if I could and I had some extra material so I did. It turned out pretty cute! She had a speaking part and a small group song. She did so good. Before the concert G Dog had football practice and before that both kids had to do their homework. It was a pretty busy day.

Makenzie has girl scouts tonight and they she is done until next fall. They are going camping in July, but no more meetings.

Right now I'm trying to get the house somewhat clean before vacation. I set up the pool yesterday and it's up and running. I have to vacuum the pool and put more chemicals in it but so far so good that's it's up and running and SO FAR there are no leaks or major problems like in years passed.

Barb, the lockers are great! I keep everything in them!!! I got the second one about a year ago and now all I do have to pack is a few outfits for everyone and everything else is in storage. With 5 and sometimes 6 people per each trip, it works great! Here is what is in our lockers and I KNOW there are somethings that I have forgotten about but at least you can get an idea of what we use ours for.

1 hair spray
2 air fresheners
2 beach towels
2 bottles of beer
2 champ. glasses

We are going to be leaving a set of twin sheets (for the areo bed) and maybe another areo bed and set of sheets for that one too. I'm not sure about the second areo bed, we all still "fit" a one bedroom, but it would be nice to have a spare if we needed it. Also, we were thinking about taking our own pillows and keeping them in the owners lockers too. We would have to get the space bags for us to do that or another locker to hold that stuff but we will see. the things Garry has learned from his police training, makes me what to sleep on my OWN pillows and sheets!:scared1:

If you want more info on the lockers, send me an email or a PM. I had to change computers and I don't have your email address anymore so if you would send me an email so I have yours again that would be great!

Well gonna fly! Gotta get my rear in gear!!!

Be back later!!
