Sandy: Sorry to hear about Bolt! I hope Penny works out.

We are still considered a suburb of Cleveland even though we are in Lorain County. The storms last night were relentless. Thunder and lightening all night. Torrential rain. The sump pump got a workout, but all is well. Lots of flooding everywhere. Just wish all the snow had melted. We still have a lot left after an inch of rain.

Susan: Sorry about the boys loss. As they say here in Cleveland, "wait till next year."

I would love to move someplace that Spring actually shows up in March!

Denine, I understand even though you are in a different county that you are still a suburb. Here it is the City and County of Denver. We live in Jefferson County and there is still Adams and Arapahoe that are considered "metro".

Penny is a really good girl. She followed Tyler around today. She checked on him one time when he was just sitting watching a movie. Bolt and Penny love to play. Good thing that have a huge house. My house definitely wouldn't be big enough for them to play. Penny took a nap with Tyler.

Sounds promising with Penny!

We finally made it up to the Y last night. We were just going to sign Kaleigh up for swimming lessons, but we opted to get her a youth membership too. The classes are cheaper and there are other things she can do to. We signed her up for 5 private lessons. They are supposed to call me to this week to set up the days and times for those. The Y just opened last year sometime and is really nice. It took such a long time to get everything done since their computer was so slow that the person gave us a t-shirt and gym bag for being patient.

Kaleigh finally gets back to PSR tonight.

Thursday we are going to a 4H meeting.
Hoping that Friday Kaleigh has her theater program. Don't know if they were able to reschedule it from last Friday. Still waiting for that call.
I work on Friday.

Sunny but cold today. I hope we start getting more into the 40's and 50's now that it is March. I can dream can't I?

So may people had problems with flooding. Luckily we came out OK, but so many did not. Some had a foot of water in their basements. Everyone around here has a lake for a yard. We have water in our usual place in the yard. The problem is, the water table in Lorain County is so high, that there is nowhere for the water to go, so it sits on the lawn.

Denine, if the water table is so high, do very many people have basements? They won't build basements if it's too high here. You will be amazed how well Kaleigh will do with private lessons.

I have decided to organize our storage shelves downstairs in the laundry room. Man, a person could get hurt with the landslides that we have had lately, LOL.

Good morning! It has beena rough few days not feeling very well. It moved from my chest to my head and then I woke up this morning and it is back in my chest. We are swamped at work so not much time to post right now.

Denine - Glad your basement didn't get flooded.

Susan - Bummer the boys lost. I bet they were sad.

Mom - Yay we stayed at an all inclusive in Puerto Vallarta but that is were I got extremely sick with ecoli so not the best memory, lol.

Julie - I think Barb has forgotten about us. It has been a long time since she has checked in. I did see on FB that Kara turned 2, wow has the time flown by! Hope your kiddos are doing good!

Sandy: They do build basements, but we need sump pumps. We need to get a new back-up battery for ours. There are a number of homes on the other end of town without basements. There is a creek over there they tends to flood as it did Monday.

Heidi: Sorry you aren't feeling well still.

They are making up Kaleigh's theater program Friday. She is happy.

Hello. Not much new with me. I was suppose to start water aerobics again but time got away. There's always another day!

Heidi, I keep forgetting to tell you so I will on here. Javier is the manager of Qdoba. He seems extremely happy. His dad is here for awhile.

That is cook he is a manager. I am sure he is great at that since he is so personable. Maybe Chris and I will go visit him this weekend (even though Chris hates Qdoba, lol!!), but I love their low fat nachos.

We are finally getting everything scheduled! I have Kaleigh's swimming lessons set up, and we are waiting for the head of PSR to call us back with a date that Kaleigh can make her first confession. I got her last cooking class scheduled. Tonight is her first 4H meeting.

I work tomorrow and then Kaleigh has her theater program tomorrow evening.

Denine, you are starting to sound like Julie. Schedules, schedules. LOL

Heidi, when we were there Javier was stopping at tables. He is good. He gave us chips and queso. He said to say "hi". Dad wasn't a big fan of it before and now he said he would go back, LOL.

Yay, Scotty made it on American Idol. I just love him and I am not a big fan of country. It's that deep voice that I love. I like a girl and I think her name is Lauren. She's the blonde that got voted in right after Scotty.

Sandy: Now that Kaleigh is older, she can start doing more things. Unfortunately, they all fall at the same time!

We thought Kaleigh was going to be a junior member of 4H called a Cloverbud. They don't do individual projects, they do group stuff. Even when we got there, I told the lady how old she was and told she would be inthe younger group. Well, that is what we did last night and it was like pre-school. I asked later if she was sure she couldn't do a project. She again asked how old Kaleigh was and I told her she was 8. She said she has to be 8 and in the 3rd grade. I told her she was. That means, she is not a Cloverbud, but a full fledged member, and gets to do a project on her own. They had all the books there with projects. Kaleigh was bouncing up and down at the beginning when she heard there was veterinary science, but we thought she had to wait until next year. That is the one she chose since she can do it this year. Kaleigh is very excited. We have meetings twice a month until June and then every week. I just hope it doesn't interefere with baseball because that takes precedence.

Tonight is theater. That is only for this month.

At least driving to work today was normal and it was a good day too! Did I mention that as of January, I have been a nurse for 20 years? I also just passed my 10 year anniversary at work.

Denine, I can't believe 20 years. Good for you! How exciting for Kaleigh. Just a question, is she interested in vet med?

Heidi, I keep forgetting to tell you that I bought one of those parafin wax heaters that you dip your hands in for a manicure. You can use it anytime.

Mom - Nice, your hands will always be so smooth! I want to try and get the OPI Axium gel kit and do my own nails with the no chip gel paint.

Sandy: Thanks! Yes, right now, Kaleigh wants to be a vet.

Sunny today, so the snow is melting.

We have Kaleigh's first confession scheduled for Saturday. Tomorrow starts the crazy busy week.

Sandy: I bet the warm wax feels good! I know that OT's use warm parafin for people with bad arthritis in their hands and fingers.

We went to the car show on Saturday. Man, I don't know how anyone can afford a new car! We didn't find anything we were interested in anyway. Jerry's car has been behaving lately, but it does have 100K on it.

Denine - cars are so expensive right now. I will drive my car into the ground until it no longer works because I love my car!

Mom - I need to go to Kelly to have it put on once to see how they do it, then I seriously want to buy the stuff and the UV curer.

Heidi, I wonder how late Kelly works. Maybe we could work it in at night since your nails are perfectly dry by the time you leave the salon. Or a Saturday. One could have Kelly and the other Kimmy.

Denine, we drive our cars into the ground as well. Man, they are just too expensive. Actually too expensive to buy and too expensive for up keep. They can nickel and dime you to the poor house. I never thought about those things as therapy but it certainly makes sense! You've got the sun and we are heavily overcast today. Just waiting for the snow to fly.
