Lori - are you sure you are not a Theta, that song brings back horrid (oh, I mean Great!:D ) memories.

We were supposed to be in SDiego this week for Monday Night Football and work.
David's company has been evacuated most week and the game, of course, was moved to Tempe. Hmmmm, go figure.

David's company, Brass Eagle (paintball stuff) was just taken over by K2 (skis, Rawlings sporting goods, Shakespeare fishing stuff, etc.). This is a really good thing for us, will keep us in Bentonville for now. Hopefully, with a few perks coming, our vacation fund will stay strong.

I haven't been on in awhile, and can't remember who is cruising in October next year. My dad suprised me the other day with an interest of a family reunion on the "Mickey Boat" as we so fondly still call it. When checking prices the Oct and Nov cruises were cheaper than last year (I think). What have you all found out.

Sandy and Lori stay safe, hope most of the fires are out.

Krista

Krista, some of us are cruising on the Eastern and some of us on the Western in Oct of 2004. Us Western people are on the 23rd. It includes Jeanne, Joyce, Sandy & Laurie so far. Laurie might not make it due to family but last I heard she told me that she was still going to try and make it. The Eastern before us will be Julie, Denine, Barb, Patty and Sally. Bonnie has not committed and Lori is somewhat considering the Western. I think I vaguely remember Diana thinking about one or the other. We know K2 here in CO. My garage is stuffed with K2 skii items. My family alone will keep your vacation fund going.

Lori, I loved Daniels Park. It was so peaceful. I haven't heard if it really affected the park itself that much. Ok, ok, I got your drift. I remember the old girl scout song, too. I have peaked in the thread but they all know each other and don't seem too willing to talk to strangers. That is something that Denine's thread for next year needs to remember.

Sally, the other thread that you are on is not the same as the girl in the Walt Disney Suite that I am on.

Denine, I can't remember her name but I will check and get back here. Name didn't sound familiar and if I remember right she had only a few posts under her name.

SANDY: I think I will glance at the "other" board for the October 23rd, 2004, cruise. Joyce & I are thinking about WDW after the cruise & being in WDW for Halloween. We are planners!

BONNIE: I am getting soooooo excited. I can't stand myself!:goodvibes How about trying to get reservations for Liberty Square or Crystal Palace like the others the night of MVMCP? I think I will start working on that idea.

There is just too many great things happening - reunion, shopping, WDW, Christmas show in NYC, Flyers game, etc. etc.
I can't wait to see you all again. I will be away for the weekend so I am signing off. Have a great weekend. Stay safe. Toodles:wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

This is the way too tired Susan just loggin in to let you know that I plan to watch Survivor tonight since it is now Thursday night.::yes::

Turner has a book report due tomorrow so I have to go be the slave driver and make sure he is making progress.

Paul and I were talking and saying that when we all meet in December, that we should make it the easiest thing that will hold the number of us getting together. I'm not sure how many of us there will be. We also don't want to take too much of everyone's time away from the parks. We will be starting the drive home later that day so we didn't want to pay for park admission and not get to really enjoy it. So, with that said, make it easiest on you all.

Later!

I am happy to be alive! Oh my gosh, I went to pick up Noah at Jr.Kindergarten and usually they walk the kids out to their cars and put them in. Instead, I find out that they are in lockdown and we needed to wait until they had permission to release the kids to us. Next thing I know we were told to go inside to pick them up but park close to the bldg. because the sheriffs Dept was looking for someone. I saw at least 5 patrol cars, 1 ambulance, 1 firetruck. They were out running around holding onto their guns. Two of them almost plowed into my car twice. I mean I came home a bundle of nerves. I turned on the news and they didn't even bring up the subject. Lori, if you hear anything let me know.

Sandy, the only TV we managed today was part of Survivor. (Oh, Mark Burnett never fails to amaze me with his ability to come up with a new twist each time), so No, I didn't hear anything about it. Must have been an ex-parent threat of kidnapping or something. How scary. Have a glass of wine with me, "Cheers".

Krista, I know that you'll love this one then...
"I've got something in my pocket, it belongs across my face..."

LOL, I won't be that mean.
I need to get everything ready for tomorrow. Got to get the kids to school, go straight to work, leave work to go run Cody's 2nd grade class party, then back to work, see if I can pick up the U-Haul truck (for Sat. mornings 6am popcorn pickup) the night before, sneak out to get it if possible, tote the kids to their various activities for the night, then collapse before a busier Saturday begins. Ohh, Sat night ends with a grown up Halloween party though. Hope I'm awake for it:D

OK, I am that mean ... "And I keep it very close at hand in a most convenient place..."

Ahh haa, I'm EVIL I say!
'Night

Sandy! SUch excitement! And to think it didn't even make the news!

Susan and the Dec WDW'ers: How about lunch at one of the EPCOT resorts? Somewhere on teh boardwalk? ESPN Has good food, or one of the others...THey have a few restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin or at Beach and Yacht club? I had lunch there once and the food was good.
Slow down Susan! Yyou don't want to get sick for the cruise!

Lori: You slow down too! ALthough I remember those days...I Love my time for myself now though...

Survivor fans, what did you think of the switch they pulled last night.....personally I didn't think it was very fair....those poor people that haven't had a decent meal going up against the ones that even though they said had a restricted diet had a chance to rest up under more favorable conditions. If I was one of the survivors I would be a little upset.....I was surprised that Jon is still there after the voting. Wonder who is going to show up next week?

I guess our cold weather is finally here....it was pretty cold yesterday and is only 30 so far this morning.....the trick or treaters are going to have to dress warm. I have my candy and camera ready.....

Today we are suppose to dress up for Curves.....don't have anything to dress up in so am just going to take pictures....

 :jester: :earsgirl:

Good Morning!

I am sitting here in a long dress with a flower wreath on my
head surrounded by cardboard pieces that we have been painting and coloring for months to look like stone walls. Had to run to Wal-Mart at 6:00 this morning I sure got some strange looks. What can I say. My team won first place last year and we are out to defend the title!!!!! We have life size Knights, Dragons and a horse!

Where the heck is my camera!!

Barb:smooth:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

It is cloudy, but the temp isn't bad. The kids should be warm enough tonight, hopefully not wet.

Lori: I remember that song. That was a long time ago!

Sue: Slow down! If not, you will be like me and get sick as soon as you relax.

Lunch with Sue: It needs to be a place that will easily accomodate all of us. There will be a large group. Does O'Hana's serve lunch?

Kaleigh is all ready to be Minnie Mouse tonight.

Sandy: I checked the thread. I don't know the person that has the WD suite. Give them a chance. They all just got off a cruise and are still reminiscing. Just a little background info on Beano. He is a funeral director with a wife and 2 kids. His job is obviously quite serious and grim, so he blows off steam on the boards and vacation. Kamy & Tim are young. They both work at Ford and are waiting to adopt a couple of siblings. It hasn't worked out as of yet. Tim is just as crazy as Beano, but good people. I don't know the other's.

We are now getting drizzle and snow mixed....it is forming ice on our van windshield...

Some of the gals dressed up at Curves this morning..everything from witches to Minnie Mouse....who by the way had trouble not showing her pants on some of the machines....we told her that was ok as she was a mouse.

Barb are you getting my emails? I am not getting anything from you if you sent any.....

Mom- No I have not gotten any emails from you:mad:

Don't know what the problem is.

I sent a Disney Halloween card to you and I just got notice that the delivery failed....

So that has to be on your end as I didn't send it the card company did...Patti got hers.

Send me an email through this board I should be able
to get it.

Trying to figure out a good place to eat lunch on the 6th. We should make PS so they are ready for us. I counted 15 people, including kids. I don't think Jeanne and Joyce are coming. Is that correct?

Happy Halloween. It has been a terribly busy day. I love Halloween but I am afraid that I will be too tired to enjoy it. Wow, if you guys could see our weather. It was 83 Wed, Thurs was 27 and today in the 20's also. Our cars are drenched in ice but the roads are just fine. Mother Nature put out our fires. As they said last night "the fuel for the fire was under ice". Our grass is all ice. Poor poor trick or treaters! It is still misty and cold. I bet we only get a handful of kids.

Denine, Lori has been telling me to give everyone a chance also. I did have a feeling that they all just came off a recent cruise. I hate it when I am like this. I did tell myself to give it time though. I certainly would hate to be a funeral director. I am sure he does need to blow off some steam!!!!

I have never been to the Boardwalk, Bonnie and was telling Julie that this time we are going. I love your idea of a lunch around there. Denine, you are right about Jeanne and Joyce. They go home on the 5th. By the way, I have heard a lot of good things about O'Hana's. Where is that anyway?

Sally, you belong to a crazy Curves. Sounds like fun.

Lori, do I ever remember singing that song. Just wish I remembered all the words. I have that song stuck in my mind now. thanks?! Lori, I did have wine with you last night. Cheers!

Speaking of wine? When is the next wine party?

Barb, did you win?

I agree with you Sally. I don't think it was fair to bring back the cast offs from Survivor. It adds a twist but an unfair twist.

Never did hear why all the excitement I had yesterday. Hopefully it will be in the newspaper. Didn't have time to read it yet.

Happy Halloween! Just stopping in to say hi. It was a beautiful day here for the trick or treaters! It was in the 70's and jsut wonderful! The kids got their haul of candy! The Big Guy did better on the "walking" then Makenzie. She pooped out before he did! But he does love his CANDY!!!!!!!!!!

We are in for the group lunch! I don't know of any place on the boardwalk that takes ressies. One of our home resorts is BWV and if my memory serves me right, all the restaurant are mostly first come first serve. Cape May at the Beach Club resort (if they have lunch) has ressies. I think that maybe one of the resorts restaurants might be the best bet to get all 15 of us seated. 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian is nice too. (I can't remember if they have lunch either). It is a buffet and usually very good. Chef Mickey's, O'hana's, Rainforrest Cafe, Cape May, Boma's at the Animal Kingdom (VERY good too) can accommodate all of us too. We will narrow this down soon!

Sandy, O'hana's is at the Poly. I have heard that it is good, but I have never been.

Well, will check in later today! Take care all and I hope you all had a great Halloween!

Had lunch at Cape May with my mom and it was empty when we went. Food was good.
Sandy...Boardwalk is the most fun at night...that is when all the street performers are out...then of course there are the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GREG WIDELL!!!!!!!!!

Nothing exciting going on here. Just cleaning!!!! I hope everyone has a great Nov. 1st!!!!
