Hate to tell you but the sun came out for a little while...not too cold either but you know Colorado weather it can change in l0 minutes.

Dick took me out to lunch, Walmart for paint and the scrapbook store for Thanksgiving paper to make shades. Going to watch Dr. Phil and then work on room some more.

SANDY: That dream must mean something. Whoever has a dream book needs to tell us what is the secret message. Maybe she thinks we're going to "kidnap" you & Ted to Disneyworld!

Are all the December WDW visitors getting very excited? Well I am Joyce & I are both working Thanksgiving which is our last day of work before we leave on Saturday for WDW, can you imagine how impossible we will be to work with????? When the dates get closer you will have to remind me again where we are meeting. I know we will all be together of MVMCP but are we getting together before that night?

I think I will start decorating this weekend. Down with Halloween. Up with Christmas. What happened to Thanksgiving? Oh well I have to work anyway.

Ok, here is all the info I got today! We COULD do the Magical Gatherings IF there were 8 off us that booked their "own" ressies. Which we have only 6 people ( Joyce and Jeanne, Bonnie and Glenn, Ted and Sandy) who booked their own ressies. NOW Denine and Jerry and us COULD qualify for Magical Gatherings through DVC IF there was 8 of us. There is 8 BUT Garry and Kaleigh don't count because they only count children 3 or older! So NONE of us qualify !

Lunch on the 6th: I had to go through group dinning since there would be 15 of us. They checked several resturants NOT in the parks..... I could get Whispering Canyon at 12 noon! IF I book it, it would be under my name and IF we don't show...... I would still have to pay. I think that if we do decide to do this, we won't have a problem with that! LOL! So is that resturant ok? Or is there another place you would like me to look at? You can order off the menu at whispering cayon OR the all you can eat skillet (which Garry and I think is very good for the money) for 13.99 for adults 12 and older and 7 .39 for children 3 and up.

Ponder this and let me know! Then if we do this or another resturant, I can give Susan the conf. number and everyone else.

Also, Cruise director Julie thought of putting a list of When people are arriving, hotel where they are staying at, and hotel phone number for the group so we can get in touch with people down there. Is that ok for everyone?

Jeanne, did you look into getting dinner ressies at Crystal Palace for the night of Dec 4th before the MVMCP?

Let me know. No hard feelings if you say forgetaboutit!

JULIE: You do know that Joyce & I will not be there on December 6th. We leave on the 5th. I got reservations at Liberty Square (or whatever it's name) on 12/4/03 at 4:45 PM but Joyce doesn't know about it & I'm not sure she will want to eat there but I figured we would be in the right area.

Julie, I vote for the Wilderness what ever its name is. And....12 is good for us. We are staying at All Star Movies 407-939-7000. I believe it will be under my name. We arrive Dec 2 at 1PM and leave 12-10. A list sounds good to me. I have been putting one together for myself so obviously it is a good idea.

Jeanne, I want as many of us as possible to ride Splash Mtn together so I can buy the picture. I think that would be fun. Maybe MVMCP.

Jeanne, Heidi got to go to the Futuristic Castle with all of us so I doubt that she is too worried about you kidnapping us. Actually, I think that she really, really wanted to go and it is still in her mind. After all, she got this whole thing going for my family.

Whispering Canyon at 12 noon on the 6th sounds great. We will be there. I can't wait!!! The only sad part will be that the cruise is over. Julie, you are wonderful to help organize all of us!! We made our own reservations for the cruise, will that count at all toward your 8???

Whispering Canyon at 12 PM on the 6th is fine for us. What do they offer with the skillet thingy?
We will be arriving on the 30th and leaving the 9th. We are at OKW. Don't have phone # on me right now. We don't own a cell phone.

Kaleigh started walking last night! She goes between the 2 of us and then collapses into our arms in giggles. She can take about 5 steps before falling, but I think she could do more if she had the confidence.

Jerry made our ressies for February and May. We couldn't get all the dates we wanted in Feb, so we changed it around a bit.

I am as excited about this trip as we were about the last one!

I can't believe this weather! It is amazing! It is supposed to be in the upper 70's today. I'll take it! Have to go vote later.

Sandy: Interesting dream!

Jeanne: I am also working Thanksgiving, but only in the morning.

I looked at the all-you-can-eat-skillet. It looks like a nice choice of food. It sounds like you get a large portion no matter what you order. Since we are making group ressies, do we have to decide now what we want? If so, Jerry and I vote for the all-you-can-eat.

Denine, you are such a bragger! 70 degree weather! Nice. We finally got the sun for the first time since last Wed. but it will be short lived. It is suppose to snow starting around midnight tonight. I really don't have problems with it. We need the moisture.

I'm with Sandy. I hope everyone is OK. Barb, you need to check in or Sally needs to update us. I am going to assume no news is a good thing not a bad thing.

Work is just so hectic. And, of course, I am beginning to stress over being out for 2 weeks. Oh well. I'll enjoy it when it gets here and deal with the fall out when I return.

Turner has his first tournament this weekend so we will be in Florence, SC this weekend. He has one game Sat. and 2 games Sunday. Paul's parents ae planning to meet us there to watch. Florence is about half way between them and us. I'm not sure who is more excited about the tournament, me, Paul or Turner. I really can't wait. When we get back and the team and player statistics are posted to the website, I'll post a link so you can see.

I'm looking forward to Whispering Canyon and getting together with you all. Jeanne, I sure wish you and Joyce were going to still be there. Just know that you will be missed!!

How exciting - Kaleigh is starting to walk. Watch out Denine and Jerry, the next phase has begun!!!

Sandy, we have been in the upper 70s the last 2 days and the weekend gave us low 80s with bright sunshine. Now that is what you should be jealous of!!! The cooler weather is coming back this weekend with highs near 60.

Sandy: Yes, the Whispering Canyon is in the Wilderness Lodge.

Don't be too jealous of our weather. It gets cold tomorrow and then gets worse. They are talking 30's and snow for the weekend.

I don't know what time I'll be on tomorrow. Jerry is working from home. We have to take the car up in the morning for a recall thing and to get our OnStar antenna fixed. It broke off on our way home from WDW. Then, I have my appointment downtown tomorrow. Since my MD and the radiology dept. are all in the Clinic system, they do everything internally. The script is on the computer system. At least I will know the results before we leave for home. The MD will read it right then and there. The Clinic has an entire Breast Center. I not not concerned, just annoyed. I have no BC history in my family. This was my 1st mammo and I had the reduction 3 years ago. The MD chose not to do a mammo pre-op. I scar very easily. I am guessing it is just scar tissue.

We went and voted. They are watching our mayoral election carefully since it will probably be the 1st time a write-in candidate wins the race in our county. Our mayor died in May, so there was only 1 name on the ballot and she was totally unqualified for the job.

Bonnie, I'm sorry you don't like the Whispering Canyon that well. You don't have to get the skillets. You can order off the menu anything you want. Everyone can order what he or she wants. It isn't "pre-ordered" or anything like that. The group ressies was just because of the party size. We will all get to see the wonderful Christmas tree in the lobby and maybe the geiser go off. Then depending on where everyone wants to go, you can take the boat over to MK or one of the buses to another park or downtown disney. The "lunch show" will be a lot of fun since we are a wild group!


Sandy, the skillets are all you can eat. It usually consists of ribs, bbq beef, sausages, red skinned potatos, corn bread, baked beans, sometimes a beef stew. It is good if you like that "camp fire foods".

Jeanne, we will get together before the Christmas party for sure. Maybe some night for dessert in France or Beaches and Cream? I'm game for any ideas! Garry needs people to ride Mission Space with him ! I also need to know what time you and Joyce are arriving.

Bonnie, you told Makenzie a LONG time ago that you will ride splash mountain with her ! She has told me several times that you and she are going to ride it! Big Thunder Mountain will be re opened too! At least that is what we have heard.

If you want me to add your cell phone number to the arrrival/departure list please email me it. I have ours and Sandy and Ted's. I know Denine doesn't have one. I have misplaced Bonnie's. Jeanne and Susan if you want the group to have your numbers, just email me or pm me and I will put it on the list.
