Re Survivor- No kidding! I was thinking how unfair that was, too. Did the "outcasts" have crabs crawling over them while sleeping? I'll bet not. Their diet was bound to be a little better. But still, when you think there just aren't any surprises left to be sprung, Burnett does it.

OK, back by popular demand!!!!
The 2nd verse!

I'm sure you couldn't guess it
if you guessed a long, long while.
So I'll take it out and put it on--
it's a great big Brownie Smile!

Had a very busy day yesterday. Started with hockey (what else?). Then to have cell phones replaced and upgraded. Then to buy a birthday present for party Turner had in the evening. Then to the birthday party. Then home with one of Turner's friends with a stopover at Blockbuster. A stop at the grocery store for snacks and home at last!! Went to bed exhausted.

Today's plans: going to my Mom's house to spend part of the day. My Mom and step-father are gping back to Germany Monday and we just haven't spent alot of time with them lately. They have a house here and one in Germany. My step-father is German. They are heading there to do some travelling in Europe before they return in mid Deceber to be here for Christmas.

On the way back from their house we will drop Turner's friend off at his house.

Sounds like you guys have a lot more ideas than we had for our get together. I knew it was smarter to leave it up to you all to just tell us where to meet. Can you believe that it is only about 34 days away til we all get together. And before that we all have our Disney vacations to look forward to.

Next weekend is Turner's first hockey tournament for the travel team. We will be going to Florence, South Carolina. Paul's parents live about 90 minutes from there so they are going to come watch him play. He has one game on Saturday and two on Sunday.

I'll try to get back online later this evening. Everyone have a great Sunday!
Later!

Hi guys, I haven't been on since Friday and there was only 4 posts. At least I should be happy there were 4, right?

I thought that O'Hana's was at the Poly but just wasn't real sure.

Susan, you better slow down before the trip so that you don't get sick and can't enjoy it.

Thanks Lori, really needed that last verse! Can't stand to be left dangling. Poor trick or treaters, I swear we had only about 8. I just dumped candy in their buckets. I felt soooooo bad for them.
Looking forward to getting Cody's popcorn.

When are we going? I want to go now!!!!!!!! I was thinking about lunch with Susan. It might be fun for them at Downtown Disney like Rainforest Cafe. They might want to do some shopping before heading home. At least, I am doing major Christmas shopping while I am there and having it shipped home.

Well, headed to the other thread.

Hi Lori, Sally and Barb. Just had a short conversation with Barb on the IM and we were trying to finalize the Nov. lunch. Is everyone open on the 17th or 19th? Is it Bahama Breeze or somewhere else? 11 or 11:30 to beat the crowds? I tell you-traffic around lunchtime in the Bahama Breeze area can be a nightmare! Let's get this underway! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I had such a great weekend. The weather was beautiful every day warm, sunny & in the 70's. Had a great time with my OLD classmates after all it is my 35th! After the reunion my friend & I went to a Halloween Party & I dressed as a "Mouseketeer":earsgirl: . I told Joyce I would make her a matching costume so next year after the cruise we could go to WDW & the Halloween Party:earsgirl: :earsgirl:.

Joyce & I want to get together with everyone at WDW in December too!:grouphug:

I have to admit I am a semi-traitor. I did post on the "OTHER" board:guilty: :scared:
BONNIE: You have to go on this cruise. They are a bunch of wild & crazy people. Talk Glenn into the cruise.

Hope you all have a terrific week. Toodles:wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

HI guys, ahh, so much accomplished this weekend, what a relief.

Sandy, Barb, Sally. How about the 17th that way if weather is bad or something we still have the 19th to bump it to. 11:00 is a good idea, but I'm fine with 11:30 too. Bahama Breeze is fine with me.

Cody went to HomeDepot with a friend yesterday to do one of those projects that they do free with kids. It turned out to be a Disney sponsored day. He made Mickey outline bookends ::MickeyMo - Very Cute, and also got an orange carpenter's apron showing 4 pictures of Mickey in styles spanning the past 75 years and it says
Celebrate MICKEY
75 InspEARations
Decor products provided by The Home Depot And also a pin with the message and picture of the project.
TOO cute! Wow, if I were mean and knew how to use E-bay.....
SO, see if your local Home Depot has done that project yet, (or maybe there is a series of them, I don't know... )and grab any available kid to go do it.

Jeanne is a traitor, Jeanne is a traitor. Nanny nanny booboo. Jeanne is a traitor. Oh ok, so am I.

Jeanne, glad that you had a terrific time at your reunion. Sure wish it would work out that Ted and I could stay after the cruise with you next year for the Halloween celebration but I know we can't. I want to see a picture of your costume you wore this year. Sounds cute.

Lori, I can't believe what a great project you fell into. I only wish I knew. I might check to see if they have more to come. I would take Noah.

Lunch on the 17th at 11:00 at Bahama Breeze works for me.

Did you know that Home Depot has Mickey head stickers in their paint department. I got them in all colors for scrapbooking....and they are free....

It is l2 so guess I had better go to bed as it is Curves first thing in the morning.....I am still working on the computer room...finally got Dick to go through the rest of his papers, etc. Ended up throwing out 3 garbage bags of stuff. Just have the file cabinet drawers to do...so much outdated stuff in it. Now to find places to put what he kept.

It is foggy and rainy out right now and 36...wonder what tomorrow is going to be like.....

Good night...sweet dreams:eek:  suppose to be a sleepy face

Jeanne, glad to hear that you had a great time this weekend! You will have to bring pictures of you in your costume for us to see down at disney. I'm gonna call on Monday to see about the "magical gatherings". Garry was reading that if you have a party of 8 or more, you can get special meet and greet with Mickey. I think that as long as the "party" has ressies, you can still do this. I will look into it.

Our weather today was beautiful! It was 77 degrees out. Anna Marie and I started to put the Christmas decorations out. I KNOW..... I usually don;t put them out this early, but I figured that by the end of the month, I won't want to do much! LOL! We pu the outside lights up. We will not put them on until after Thanksgiving, but at least they are up.

I will try to down load our Halloween pictures of the kids for you guys to see. It was wonderful weather, but there was hardly any children out. Go figure!

Well, gonna go. Will check back in later!

Take care all!

P.S. Since I'm gonna be calling down to Florida, do you all want me to check with the different places for the Sat Dec. 6th lunch? Hey, has anyone ever been to Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge? It is a hoot and I think that they would have a ball with all of us. Just another suggestion. Where does everyone want me to check? Rainforrest Cafe, and where else?

Hi, everyone. Here's to the start of another grueling work week!! :headache:

Julie - thanks for offering to call Disney to check about our lunch get together. We are game for whatever you guys decide.

We had a great time at my mom's yesterday. She was sharing with me their upcoming cruise plans for when they return from Germany. The latter part of Jan. they are going on a 21 day cruise around southern South America and part ot Antarctica.
Check this out:
Holland America South America Antarctica cruise When they get to Rio it will be during carnival. How exciting is that???!!! Wish we could go too!!

Gotta run. Have a great day! Later!

They might want to do some shopping before heading home.
They won't have any money left after the cruise!!!

Rainforest may be too crowded...I think one of the resort restaurants may be the best bet since they tend to be less crowded during the day.

Busy weekend...Lancaster shopping on Saturday...Sunday clean and then got a call to help Pam put the "leaf bin" up...what a chore complete with sledge hammer. I will be aching today.

Another week with the new system...crashed it last week, it is taking people too long to put the info in so they went back to the old , 60 in the queue all day! What a mess!!! Non stop calls to me since I am a "superuser"...yuk!

Have a good day all.

The Wilderness Lodge idea sounds like fun, Julie. I am not so sure that we will qualify for Magical Gatherings but I am happy :D that you are going to check into it. From what I understand we would have had to make the ressies at one time. I will cross my fingers as there seems to be a lot of perks!::yes::

What a term "superuser".

Susan, do you think that your mom has room for me in her luggage? They will have a blast!

I talked to Laurie yesterday. They are super busy and she hopes to come back to the thread soon.

Julie, don't like to hear about your weather. ;) We have not seen the sun since Wed Afternoon. It has been cold and dreary. I guess winter is on its way for sure.

I hope to have my tree up, Christmas presents bought and cards ready to go before we leave. Am I asking for too much?

Sandy you need to move to the Springs....I don't think we have had a day that the sun hasn't shinned....maybe today as it isn't out yet and it is 7:30

We ate at Wilderness Lodge when I was there last Dec. It is pretty good and they had a beautiful tree....

Not a very exciting day planned....Curves and clean. Maybe I will work on my album later as that is always fun. I got a pattern to make lampshades for over wine glasses that has tea candles in them for Thanksgiving...and I need to start making my Christmas cards.

Mom-Email is still not working. I am unable to send you an email
Try sending one to me to see if I receive it.

Is the 17th going to work for you??

Hi all! Beautiful day today. It is supposed to 75 tomorrow and snow on Friday.

Jerry took Kaleigh out Friday night and she had so much fun! He carried her around the neighborhood. We didn't have as many kids as I expected.

I had to work this weekend. We went to the mall on Saturday and got 2 princess costumes for Kaleigh for next year. They were half off. We also did some Christmas shopping.

All the birdfeeders are up and filled.

Julie: Whispering Canyon is a fun place!

I have to go for further evaluation on my mammogram on Wednesday. Unfortunately, they don't do it here in town. We have to go down to the Main Campus to have it done. I half expected this. It is probably scar tissue from my reduction 3 years ago.

Very busy lately.

Bummer....I found out last Saturday they closed our last Disney store.....what are those people thinking and right before Christmas too!

ok, sent an email Barb......

so far no sun

Catching up on wash, food shopping, etc. today after being away for the weekend.:faint:

Sorry but I did not take one picture of me in the mouseketeer costume. It was a short sleeved tan sweater with my name on the front, a pleated skirt (from Goodwill), bobby socks &, of course, my ears! That's why it would be really easy to pack it for the cruise.
SANDY & TED: We could all be MOUSEKETEERS:earsgirl: :earsboy:

JULIE: Good luck with shopping for a restaurant. You are definately our organizer.:teacher:

The weather has been just too beautiful:sunny: :sunny: Back to work tomorrow for three 12 hour days in a row:crazy2: Have a great week. Toodles: JEANNE

Hello Lori!:wave2:

Sally, SHAME on you for telling me that you have had sun everyday. We still don't have it today. It is very drizzly, foggy and cold today. Tonight is Monday Night Football starring the Denver Broncos. You can all see our icky weather.

How is the 17th for Barb and Sally?????????????

Sorry they closed your Disney Store, Sally but I feel that the Disney Store has really gone downhill the last couple of years. I never seem to find anything.

Julie, what did you find out for lunch?

Sorry about your mammogram, Denine. I bet that you are 100% right that it is the scars! A couple of times now I have had to go for re-evaluations just to be told Cystic Fib. I would rather be safe than sorry!

I forgot to tell you guys Heidi's dream. The Dudettes were on their way to WDW and had to drive through Denver to get there. They were nice enough to pick us up and we all went together in their brand new motorhome. Disney World was opening a new attraction which was a futuristic castle. Isn't that a hoot?
