Happy Monday...yeah right!

Went to the art museaum yesterday to see the fashoin exhibit...interesting. Actually despite being designed in the 30's thru 50's I would wear some of the stuff today...if I weighed all of 100# that is.

Lori- I think Darren was a figment of our imagination. And Diana too. We have all been bathing haven't we?

You can say that again! Off to work and still have this head cold. It's better but not better enough for me.

Autumn has finally arrived in the carolinas overnight. The lowest we had gotten at night had been abut 57 but we dropped into the 40s overnight. That made for a chilly walk with Stanley this morning. We have still been in the 80s mostly for daily highs and this week we will be in the 60s. I think my body is in shock! I need my cruise!!!

Sandy - it sounds ike you had a really nice date night. I also like Fiddler. Don't forget you need to get back to Curves this week for Sally! I'm hoping for another poind lost this week. I have really been good and getting lots of walks in with Stanley.

I had the same dream you all had about Darren. Isn't it funny how we all dreamed he dropped in and posted for a couple of days!

It's another Monday morning but each one brings me closer to my surprise Disney trip.

Sandy sounds like you had a wonderful time!! I also LOVE musicals. I have been to the dinner theater one time many many years ago. I will have to look into it again. I really enjoyed it when we went.

I am sososo ready to get out my Christmas decorations. I am thinking 3 more weeks and I will be starting. I am planning on making a lot of Disney stuff for my Disney tree. I want to make the entire back of the house Disney. I found a really cute Mickey
stockings I think I will invest in 6 new stocking and hide them until Christmas morning.

Hi everyone. Just checking in to see what everyone is up to. I spoke to Diana on Sat and she is doing fine but is extremely busy with hockey. She told me to tell everyone that after monday nights picks, she will have a little more free time to check the boards and posts.

Where is Denine? I want to hear all about the party! Did Kaleigh enjoy her cake? Kaleigh will be getting another present from us!

Another beautiful day here in Colorado. High should be around 68. Tomorrow in the 50's. It is sunny and the trees are all turning. Can't beat the sight!

Jeanne, tell Joyce that Ted and I are honored that we are pictured in her locker. Hope she is doing better. It will take some time however to be back to normal.

Yea, where is Denine?? We want to know all about the big first birthday party.

Darren has to be so busy trying to get back to life in England after being gone for several months. I sure hope he posts again, soon. (P.S. Bonnie, I have showered so it isn't me! )

I forgot to tell you guys that I talked to Stacey at WDW yesterday for over an hour. I have been real nervous to find out if they liked cruising because they love all inclusive resorts. They loved it. In fact, she has my blood. She cried at Disney Dreams, she cried when they got off. She also cried when they boarded. They snorkeled at St. John and loved it. I was nervous there too because they have always been impressed with snorkeling in Mexico so I prayed they had good luck this time. They missed the Animators Palate show as they were at Palo's.

BARB: You're a girl from my own heart! I am planning on having my Mickey Christmas tree & decorations up before I leave for Disney World on 11/29/03. It will really get me in the mood!!

I had another great day at work and I only have to work tomorrow & then have off three days. Can't wait!

Yikes Sandy, keep the necklace for yourself! Every mom loves pictures of thier kids! I thought Bonnie gave you the best idea ever. Your hygenist gave you a very nice gift because A. It was so much cheaper for her to give you the whitening then it would have been for you to buy on your own,and B. Because she knows she could never find a sweeter caregiver, and knows how lucky she is. It's a 'thank you'. Accept it. You don't have to try and match it's street value. You don't own a jewelry store. You love her kids! OK, that's my two cents. Either way, she will no doubt love the necklace as well (but really, kiddo pictures done when the Mom wasn't there and they look all happy and all, ugh, just gets me all emotional.) Ughh, sometimes you're just SO NICE!

OK, speaking of being emotional, (I've already vented this to Sandy, but I'm not drained yet, so I'm letting loose on all of you, hey, what are friends for?)
Ben is driving me nuts. He's in the hospital tonight for sore chest muscles! He referred to it as 'chest pain' to the doctor's office when calling to make an appointment and they told him to go to the ER who of course had to cover their butts by admitting him, even though the blood work and EKG show that he did not have a heart attack, and now he gets a full cardio work-up. Finally the nurse-practitioner in charge of him pokes him in the chest and says "is that where it hurts?" and he says yes, she notes that he was digging up a tree the day before and says, "well, you have sore muscles between your ribs which also explains why it hurts to breath. But, by the end of tomorrow and the battery of tests and scans, you will know very well what condition your heart is in"
Well, I guess we'll be getting our money's worth from this ER visit. He's at a good age for a full baseline work-up anyhow, I suppose. I just hate that he's admitted overnight, people get sick and die from things they didn't even walk in with, in hospitals. I think I'll wrap and deliver a little gift for him, and it will be Absorbine Jr!

Whew, OK, anything else I can get on my soapbox for tonight??? If we don't get that wine party planned, I'm starting without you!!!

Good for you Jeanne!! You are a kindred spirit. Never to early to start decorating for Christmas. Besides when you do a lot of decorating it takes a couple of weeks to get it all in place I want to REALLY enjoy it. I found the cutest Disney Christmas stockings I am going to go get tonight. I am planning on making little Mickey Santa hats to help decorate the tree. Last year I started making Mickey garland, I think I will work on it again.

It is foggy and cold here today. Wonder when we will get the first freeze.

Good morning everyone. It is a dark, cold and dreary day. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I didn't have two birthdays at my choice. I have received cards from around the world this year. Our friends somehow have arranged it all. Yesterdays came and I don't even know from where. I can't read it but it was sealed with a SWAK and signed John and then a heart. Gosh, what are they doing? Trying to get me divorced?

I am with you, Lori. It is definitely time for a wine party!! I was just wondering how women can get a sleepover at a place of their choice????

Poor Barb, some kids don't have any respect.

Here I am! Totally exhausted, plus Kaleigh and I had doctor appointments yesterday, so Jerry worked from home which meant no computer time for me.

Kaleigh's party went very well. She was excited and wouldn't take her morning nap, so she ended up taking a nap during her party. The food all turned out very well. I just put a bunch of stuff in the freezer and will try to cook up some brats for dinner with some of the other leftovers. It was actually sunny, but cool and it didn't rain until that night. Kaleigh ate some of the food I had made, but wasn't sure about the cake and ice cream. I gave her a small piece and a little ice cream, but she didn't seem to want to touch it, so I gave her some. She wasn't sure, so she didn't make a mess. She received some very nice gifts. I am glad we were able to give Kaleigh a nice party, but I am also glad it is over. Now I can concentrate on getting ready for WDW!

Kaleigh woke up with a slight cold yesterday. She has the sniffles and sneezes a lot. Her eyes are watering too. Poor kid. On top of that, she had to go to the doctor for her 1 year and received her MMR. Lets just say that I am glad it will be a few years before she gets that one again! She is 21 pounds and 29-3/4 inches, still right at the 50th percentile. She has to go get her H&H checked, but I wasn't about to do that yesterday. It will have to wait.

Kaleigh can now stand by herself for a good 30 seconds. She will be walking pretty soon.

I got a bunch of new prescriptions yesterday at the doctor. I was just about out of everything.

Just trying to catch up on everything.

Yes, hockey is keeping me busy! The start of the season brings LOTS of work - it should settle down now that our draft is over. I have 352 boys (age 11) playing on 22 teams. They all had to be called and I had to arrange an assessment skate (had two sheets of ice going at the same time for 6 hours). We made it through - all the boys showed up at their correct times -- yeah! Had the draft last night -- got home around 1am. Today the backlash started! Moms thinking their son should be on the "select" team and the coaches thinking otherwise. Fun, fun! Tell me why I agreed to do this!

At least Annika (the BABY) is in school 2 days/week now (ALL day!). That certainly helps. Now I'm trying to set up all my spreadsheets for the weekly stats -- and then our own website to post them on every week.

SOON I will be on the Magic and I will NOT think about hockey the whole week! I can't wait!

Happy belated birthday to Kaleigh and Sandy! Ben sounds like my Greg - he just got back from 9 days in China and is convinced he's picked up Hepatitis!!!!!!!!! MEN! They really are a funny bunch!

Ben is home tonight. Everything proved that he is much more healthy than he behaves. (Stunned shock, I know! )

Life is good, life is fine, and I'm nearly off my mind, ALL RIGHT. Uh huh. ALL RIGHT. OH, sorry, Katie is doing this cheer clinic and everything around here has to rhyme and be really enthusiastic. LOL
