Happy October 1st everyone! I can't believe it is October already. Last year at this time we were all so excited for the cruise! I can't believe that it has been a year already.

Today has been very cool so I made homemade french onion soup for dinner tonight. I can't get the smell of onions out of my head! It was good though!

I have not picked names yet. Still waiting for two families to confirm if they are going to join the exchange or not. If all goes well, I will pick within the next week and let everyone know who they have.

Bonnie, how are things at work? You have been real quiet lately on the boards.

Sandy when do the honeymooners come back? Tell them we want a full trip report on the cruise! Your special date night sounded wonderful! I too love the musical theater! As a matter of fact, I was active in our community theater for 15 years! I did several musicals! Including Cinderella! Maybe that is why we are so close, we have soooo much in common with each other on this thread!

Denine, do when are Garry and I coming over for leftovers? We still have to give the birthday girl her gift!

Lori, sounds like you should get your own set of pom poms! I've still got my set from high school if you would like them! LOL!! Oh the things I have to look forward too!

Diana, it was great talking to you! I wish I was going with you on the cruise in Nov. It would be so nice! But, I guess we will have to wait until I can fit into "normal" clothes again!

Susan, the weather up here isn't much better and as a matter of fact, it's worse! Tonight Garry had to work and he had his shift wear their LONGSLEEVE uniforms tonight because the low was to go down into the 30's and they are calling for frost!!! We actually have the "snow symbol" showing up in our week forcast! I like winter, but not this soon! How is Lord Stanley? Turner and school?

Hi Barb! I didn't want to forget you! Did you call member services to see what they had to say about your scheduling problems?

Well, gonna go Have a load of laundry in the dryer that I have to get out before hitting the pillows! Check in with you all late!

Glad to hear Ben is OK...knew he would be. Doctor's are extremely cautious when someone says chest pain...it just about guarentees a one night stay at hotel hospital.

Julie...in Cinderella you certainly played the lead...not one of the evil step-sisters!! Work is awful! Very busy. I have been tired lately. Also where my evenings were quiet before I generally get a phone call from one of the splitsvilles.

Diana good to hear from you.

Darren-Where are you!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still fighting the remnants of this head cold. Not as bad but not over yet! Lord Stanley is doing fine. We just came back from our morning walk. At weigh in today, if I have lost anything it will certainly be contributed to the walks and runs with Stanley! But he is such a good baby!!

Turner is doing great. He had hockey practice last night. As you can tell from Diana's post, I may be a hockey fanatic but I think she has lost her mind!!! Then again, she is in Canada and THAT is hockey country not the south!

The Fall Festival is this Saturday at Turner's school. I have been real busy with the decorations and signs for all the rides, games, crafts, food, etc. All the signs look like shields divided into 4 quadrants - 2 are white, 1 is green, and one is purple. The green one has a white cross on it and the purple has a green shamrock. In the white areas the event, etc. and ticket amount is printed in black. Today or tomorrow I have to go to the school and laminate them. They turned out really nice.

Anyway, gotta run. Need to get in the shower and get this day underway! Have a great hump day.

Later!

Good Morning!!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I am sitting here hoping today is better as far as calls go. Boy oh boy did I have some nasty people yesterday.

Jaymee called last night and the Nurse that is on campus thinks she has a staff(sp) infection she is suppose to go to a Dr today. I am waiting to hear.

Julie-I have not called DVC yet. I have been so busy this week. I did call Disney Dine today to make reservations for New Years Eve charater breakfast at Cinderella Table which I never get but I guess I call one day to soon. I will be up at 5:00 tomorrow so I can hold then be told there are no openings. :( I am going to try to get in the Princess one at Epcot then last resort Chef Mickey's.

I looking forward to hearing which family we have for our gift exchange.

Barb:smooth:

Good mornng, I think. Kaleigh is such a crab with this cold :( Yesterday, I swear, she sneezed 100 times. Today she is starting to cough. I have a humidifier in her room, but nothing else seems to comfort her. I am so tired because she spends a lot of her night wimpering. I hope she gets over this quickly.

Lori: Glad to hear Ben is fine.

Julie: How about Friday or Saturday? I know about the smell of onions in your head, I had that over the weekend, yuck!

Diana: When do you find time to sleep?

Sue: Hope your festival goes well this weekend.

Barb: Hope Jaymee doesn't have a staph infection.

Sandy: I also love musicals. I was in 4 of them in highschool. We have a dinner theater here, but we have never been.

Right now, WDW can't come soon enough!

Two days at work and I had ENOUGH! What a day yesterday and poor Joyce had to go back in today. We do so many C-sections we call them "******l bypasses".

The weather has changed. It is now officially sweats time. I can't believe it is October 1st but the weather is convincing me.

Just wanted to say a "Good Morning" to all and wish Sandy a Happy Belated Birthday and Kaleigh too! Have a great day. Keep warm. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Denine

Do you know anything thing about Staph infection??

I have very limited knowledge of it.

Hi guys, had a nice lunch with Lori today. She spared me. She was threatening an embarrassing birthday lunch and we all know Lori!! She was very good as I threatened that "Nervous Nellie" would reappear. Poor Lori, I had to impose family pictures on her. I showed her some of the wedding pictures. We both were ready for that wine party that we all keep talking about here so we started a little early. Oops, sorry.

Wow, mention musicals and I find out we have two stars among us, Julie and Denine.

Hope your day is better than yesterday, Barb. Here you go again with Jaymee. Hope she is ok.

Fall Festival sounds like fun, Susan. Our schools never did anything fun like that. The girls first elementary school held a secret Santa workshop/chili supper every year. I got roped into doing it the very first year. What a BIG mistake for someone who had never been to one. It did workout however.

Diana, you never learn. Work, work, work! At least you have a trip to look forward to.

I am so tired. Guess it is early bedtime tonight. That is, if Stacey doesn't want to come over and talk about the honeymoon.

MY BIG NEWS!!!!

I reached my weight loss goal. I have lost 18 pounds!! I would like to lose a few more but this was the goal I established for Weight Watchers. If I can maintain this for 6 weeks, I will become a lifetime member!! I am so excited and so proud of myself. I had to share with my friends!!

Glad Lori and Sandy had a nice lunch. As for the wine chat, how about this Saturday evening??? I will probably need a glass or two after the Fall Festival.

Gotta finish dinner and get my walk/run with Stanley in.

Later!

Congratulations Sue!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!!! I wish I reached goal...hit plateau and stopped...actually up a bit but headed back down again.

Barb...is it a staph infection on her skin? There are all types. Staph is short for staphlococcus and is actually a bacteria. Bacterial infections can be easily treated with antibiotics if given the proper one.

Hope Kaleigh feels better...not too bad if this is her first major cold. Let the fun begin!!!

Hockey, hockey Hockey...I think I will wait untily Turner grows up to see a professional game...of course I expect to get comped for good seats!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TED!!!!!!!!

Hope you have a great day!

Susan, way to go! I'm very proud of you! You and Denine should be our experts in losing weight! Garry is doing a really good job at losing weight too! I hope that once I have this baby, I too can join the weight lose gang! Doing the treadmill everynight, I have toned up, just can't see any weight loss do to this belly of mine! LOL!

Bonnie, hang in there with work. The week is almost over! Tell the "splitville couple" that you are going to be gone this weekend so maybe they will take the weekend off of "Bonnie Time".

Denine, this weekend is out unfortunately. Garry is working all weekend:mad: ! Maybe I can at least drop by and give the princess her present. Speaking of princesses, I know she is going to be one for Halloween. Which on is she going to be and are you just going trick or treating with her around your house or to one of your parents?

Well, gonna cut this short. Will check back in later today!

Happy Birthday Ted!!!!! Give yourself and Sandy a birthday present....a trip to WDW in December!!!!!

2 days to go....then the weekend!! I am taking my phone off the hook on Saturday!!!

Have a good day all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TED!!

I think you two should give each other WDW in December as a birthday present too!! You both deserve it!!

SO, anyone in for the wine chat Saturday???

TED: Happy Birthday to you.... Happy Birthday to you.... Happy Birthday to Ted no presents go the Disney World instead!

SUE: Way to go girlfriend! I have to start buckling down since my reunion is November 1st. Oh! No!

Where is Darren? Where is our e-mails? MIA???????

Hope you have a great day. Fall has arrived in New Jersey. Toodles:wave2: ::MickeyMo JEANNE

I can't stay on. I am running late. Just wanted to thank everyone for wishes for Ted. I have emailed them to him.

I can't pass up congratulating Susan. Way to go! I can't have the wine chat this Saturday. Heidi is taking us out for dinner. Feel free to have one without me.

I lose the kids early so perhaps I will write later.

Happy birthday to Ted. What a nice gift to yourself, a trip to WDW in December.

Bonnie: Kaleigh is starting to feel better. 1st cold? Have you forgotten the bronchitis she had and ended up in the hospital?

Julie: I guess maybe you had better stop over on your own, since this is the last weekend before we go to WDW. Kaleigh is going to be Princess Aurora. Jerry is just going to take her around the neighborhood while I hand out candy. I also got her a Minnie Mouse costume. We are going to Mickey's Halloween party.

Sue: Congratulations! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ::MinnieMo

Woke up to the white stuff all over the deck and roofs. It is only in the 30's. I am not ready for this. First a late spring and summer, now an early winter. UGGHHH!!!!:crazy2:

Good Morning!!

Sounds like everyone has good news today.

Congradulations Susan on the weight loss. You are doing great!

Denine-I hope to see pictures of Kaleigh in her costumes. I have not been able to see a picture of her because they won't open up at work:mad: It may at home though.

I still have not heard what is going on with Jaymee. I keep thinking I should not have left her so far away. Her immune system is so down because of the Mono she catching everything. Now she is down in Texas and I am up here:( She has big purple bumps on her feet. She thought they were bug bites until they turned purple and hurt really bad.

Hey Sandy-I wanna go to lunch too and look at pictures:p

I started making Mickey Santa hats for my tree. I bought really cute Disney stockings last night. I hid them away and the kids won't see them until Christmas Day. I am sososo excited I am having a hard time holding it in. At least I get to tell Bob Nov 1st. So I am only only 30 days away from that!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Barb:smooth:

Ok, no posts since 11 this morning? What's the deal? Someone needs to email our Darren and tell him we need our emails!

Hi fellow crusiers this is DisneyDude3. I have to go under JiminyCfan because Sandy has taken over the computer and now it won't let me get on under my name.

Thank you for all the Birthday wishes and all the encouragement to go on the WDW trip in December. I do have to be honest with everybody though. We, mostly me, have this itching to buy a new TRUCK, but if I don't spend all the money on all the neat options for the truck I will consider going on the WDW trip.;) Quite possibly we might have an answer by the end of this weekend. So all of you don't give up on me about the trip. :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Ted

Here's some cheering for Ted and Sandy to go to WDW
