Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Susan- I don't know how you do it. I remember my dad sitting in the driveway with the local priest drinking beer and eating pickled pigs feet! Yuk!

Walked ot the store today...needed the daily outing. Beautiful weather!!! I can't wait for the briskness of fall though...just a tad too warm yet. It is nice in the morning though.

Saw Pirates last night...I loved it!!! I could see it again but boy was it long. I just love Captain Jack Sparrow!!!! What a character!

I made my friend Pam sit through all those credits just to see the little surprise at the end. We were the only ones left needless to say.

We had a beautiful day in New Jersey. I love this weather! Joyce is doing well (I saw her at the bridal shower) and I told her she has to read the boards.

I don't think I would have taken Stanley to puppy classes. Dodger dog was a puppy school failure but now he is SOOOOOO good & listens. Some dogs just need to be over a year or two years old before they calm down enought to be trained. He loves the cat but she HATES him. My son has a cat & Dodger plays all day with him but Chloe the cat wants nothing to do with him.

Hi all, sorry about the delay on the e-mail, yes I will be sending it out soon. I seem to have been so busy what with one thing and another these last few days. If i'm not catching up with people I'm sorting out things and today I got talked into going on a 6 mile hike, wonderful!!!

Also yesterday I started deiting, I have never done this before but I'm determined to loose some weight. I put on quite a bit of weight on that ship (eating too many desserts!) and I'm determined to loose it. It's all going well so far but I'm only 2 days in!!!

Denine - I have to say I have LOADS of pins, around 350+. But I've decided to start selling off my collection. The only reason I only have 5 pins on eBay at the moment is that I'm just testing it out to see how well they go. Please tell me if there's any pins your looking for or the type of pins you like. I have pins from DCL, WDW, DLR, DLP & The Disney Store. I also have plenty of cast exclusive pins! Depending on how these 5 pins sell, I'll have loads on eBay next week!

Bonnie - You've inspired me with your picture on your posts, I might have to take a picture of myself and do it aswell! Also can I still call you my U.S. adopted Mum? Please!

Julie - sorry to hear about the little accident, I hope Makenzie and the Big Guy are O.K.

It's great to see everyone poping into the board. Hello to Sandy (congratulations to your DD!!! ), Lori, Jeanne & Krista. If fact hello to everyone (I haven't really said a big hello!)

Also please tell me all the details of this meet-up in December, if I'm not going to be on the ship I'm determined to be there! Has everyone booked hotels/flights yet? What dates will it be? This sounds great!

Darren, the crew going to Disney in Dec are staying anywhere from Nov. 30th to Dec.9th (I beleive). We are all planning on going to MVMCP on Dec. 4th. Denine, Jerry, and Kaleigh will be staying at Old Key West, Jeanne and Joyce at the Dolphin, Bonnie and Glenn at the Swan, and Garry and the Lauter clan will be at the Boardwalk Villas. When we get Sandy and Ted talked into going too they were thinking of staying at the All Star Music ( I think that was the all star resort they liked). The day that Susan, Paul and Truner get off the ship (I think it is the 6th) they are going to meet up with us then. We don't have specific times or meeting places yet, but we will once we have the official "who's going" we can start making plans on where to meet and such.

Injury report.... the Big Guy is fine and Makenzie is too even thought she has a NICE black eye!!! It doesn't bother her so I guess she is ok.

Thanks for the info Julie. You can definately count me in as long as situation doesn't change drastically. Being on a budget I would probably end up staying at All Star but I did notice some good availability and rates on the Wonder for the Dec 7th - 4 Night cruise mmm (you'd think I'd had enough of that wouldn't you!). The guest starting rate is showing as between $399 and $459.

Funnily enough I was going to do a 3 night cruise on the Wonder when I got off the Magic, but it didn't work out.

Well I can't wait to hopefully seeing you all in December, that will be excellent!!!

I sure hope we all do get to meet up on 12/6 when we get off the ship. We will drive straight there to see you all. I am so glad Darren will be going too!

We just got the phone call: TURNER MADE THE TEAM!!! He is now one of the goalies for the Charlotte Blast! He is so excited! Our first trip will be in November.

Glad Makenzie is only a little bruised and not seriously hurt. And, I'm glad the Big Guy didn't get hurt either.

Up early this morning, couldn't sleep. Already walked the dog, fed him, played with him, and practiced commands.

Our grandaughter is staying here with Abby (our dog) and she has a dog so Abby won't be lonesome.

I cough a little but not much and I feel pretty good....going to Curves for the last time for about 4 weeks so Sandy I hope you are feeling better so you can take over....I am planning on walking the first thing in the morning and going to the gym but you know what they say about plans....

Darren: OK! I am trying to finish collecting the Land series. I still need Tomorrowland and Liberty Square. I have the other four. I collect Cinderella ,holidays, Mickey & Minnie together, DVC pins, and LE pins that I like. I am a bit diverse, but, my collection is growing.

Dieting: We weigh in once a week (Wednesday) and report our gains/losses, not the actual weight. You are welcome to join us. I have 9 more pounds to lose.

Julie: Glad Makenzie is taking her black eye in stride.

Sandy: Stacey sure is a dedicated daughter. My mom and I are close, but my honeymoon was my honeymoon! Of course, we were also in a different country. Hope you get to feeling 100% soon.

Supposed to have a lot of rain today, they are talking up to 3". I don't know. It hasn't started yet, but it is cloudy and windy.
Bonnie: You can have this weather, give me back my 80's and 90's!

Less than 3 weeks till we are in WDW. We are staying in Savannah on the way down and Charlotte on the way back.

Kaleigh's party is on Sunday at 1 PM. You are all invited. I just hope I'll have enough food!

Great Job Turner !!! Now, by "one of the goalies" does that mean they did go ahead with a back up, or did he get the one and only position needing to be filled. How many goalies do they have. or I should phrase that, how many are allowed to be laid up at a time? Of course Turner has already paid his dues for a while, with his wrist. Oh, how exciting. This is a big deal! Whoa there Susan, a traveling team .... do you get to do the driving every time or is there a bus. Well, then again, you'll want to watch them and be there anyway. Humm, I'm getting too into this. Anything to avoid the sink of dishes waiting for me. LOL

OK, I'd better get off. I'm going nuts waiting for my Hawaii docs. They should have come last week so I called today (fearing that my dingbat mail carrier gave them to someone across town) and for some reason, they had to be reprinted last Thursday. So they should now be sent out tomorrow. Gathering up all of the snorkel gear. Not much else to pack. No formal nights, yeah! That was just too silly being all dressed up in Animators. It was like dressing up to go to Denny's. I see now why people wanted their rotation to land them in Lumiers for formal night.
Ugggh, I'm rambling again. The kitchen looks the same. OK, I'm really going now. Need to go to the Girl Scout council shop today and turn in our registration forms and do my first official badge buying for my new troop.

Denine, you only have nine pounds to go. What an accomplishment you have made.

Darren, if you start dieting maybe that will shame me into being a better dieter. If there is anyone who doesn't need to diet, it would be you. I am sure you did gain but enough to diet?????? Then again, thinking about all those yummy desserts. Well maybe. If we go and only if (no firm plans yet) we will stay at All Star Movies. We are big fans of All Stars. I know you have been there before too. I just love all the big characters outside the rooms. And walking around seeing them bigger than life. That is why we love Movies. It is a REAL Disney experience.

Lori, I keep thinking about Cody and BB guns. What an experience he had! I can't believe you agreed with me and lunch. You would think that you embarrass easily. Your Hawaii trip will be wonderful. Can't wait for you to tell me about it and share the pics.

Sally, your trip will be here before you know it. Have a stupendous time and think of all of us. I will try and start exercising soon. I cough just to walk across the room and don't think I should start yet. I know that you understand that predicament. I will exercise for you though before you get home ok?

We are going to Cinderella's breakfast on the December 1st at 8:55 AM. We are still waiting to hear who will be narrating the Candlelight Procession before making reservations at Canada.

DARREN: Same goes for you! We want to see Darren too!

Of course, we can't wait to see our other fellow cruisers too but will miss the cruisers because we leave on December 5th.

Getting very excited and Bonnie knows how I get. Can't wait - lots of exciting things coming up...... Ocean City Craft Fair, my friend Mary's wedding, 35th High School Reunion & then DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!

We are all going to be cheerleaders for Sandy and Ted until they say they ARE going to go in Dec. We would like to see everyone go, but we all know that it can not be possible this time.

Sally, Have a great trip! Try to say goodbye before leaving. We will all be with you in spirit! We want to hear all about it when you get home! Oh, by the way, you asked when you said you wanted to be in the Christmas exchange, well.... you mentioned that it sounded like so much fun last year and you didn't realize what the exchange was really going to be that you said count me in next year. If you don't I understand, but we would love to have you in it this year!

Speaking of the gift exchange this year I still need to hear from everyone if you still want to be in it this year or not. I have gotten 2 responses back so.........

Lori - they decided to have 2 goalies and they will both get equal time but we will only have to pay half the league fee. They had a very tough decision to make and this was the best solution they could come up with. Turner is happy just to be able to play and is fine sitting on the bench during his off times. He's still a member of the team. Yes, we will be driving each time but it is only about once a month and December is a home tournament so we don't have to travel right after getting back from the cruise. Maybe I get involved in all this stuff to get out of the dishes too!!!


I think Jeanne and Joyce need to extend their WDW trip by a couple of days so I can see them. Sandy and Ted need to be sure to come while I can see them too. And, of course, Darren needs to be there too if not working Guest Services on the MAGIC by then. It's all about me and wanting to see all of you!!

Julie - I think I responded YES to the exchange. If not, I am now!

Well I am all packed except for the last minute stuff....spent the day running around and now ready to settle down and watch the Bronco game.
