Oh you guys! 3 pages to catch up on and I'm sad, then happy, then sad again, then .... argggh! Every single one of you are in my prayers tonight!

Sandy, We didn't go to St. Johns... I don't think. We did take a catamaran from St. Marts to someplace or other. The snorkeling sucked though, because they had had a storm earlier so the water was all stirred up. I LOVED snorkeling on St. Thomas, however. We went at Coki Beach and saw all of the exotic fish attracted there by Coral World, but I heard there are even better locations on St. Thomas for snorkeling. Hard to imagine. People pay a bunch for doing "snuba" right there, and then people snorkel right by them for free. LOL

Oh shoot, I just read about the "Big Thunder" fatality, too. That's SO sad.

My new favorite quote from a child .... "Mom, why did you sign me up for school?" ROFLMAO Diana, your kids are too cute.

Yes, I missed Garry so much I made GLenn let me use the computer to tell him. I missed your terrific wit Garry...withdrawl in Chicago!!!

That was like the quote from my nephew when he was in first grade....he got in trouble for something and he told his mom he didn't want to join in the first place....

Sandy, St. John's is beautiful! Trunk Bay is great to snorkel. I would suggest that they go on their own and not take an "scheduled trip". We went there and it was real easy. Take a taxi to Red Hook Ferry and that will take you to St. John's. Take a Taxi to Trunk Bay and Snorkel! It costs about maybe $18 dollars perperson. You can take your time snorkeling and not be so hurried.

Have a great day everyone!

I haven't posted in sooooo long I am feeling guilty for posting now!

There have been several things happening all at once. My girlfriend from High School is moving in with me since she is in a bad way right now. I pick her up from the airport tonight but the funniest thing is I had to pick her cat "Chloe" up at the airport on Wednesday. A person called the "Puppy Nanny" carried the cat in the cabin in a soft carrier & transported her for $100.00. Air Tran will not fly animals. She is absolutely beautiful but hates Dodger dog. My theory is she will just have to get used to him. He has a cat at my son's house & they play all the time.

New Jersey weather is absolutely beautiful:sunny:. The windows are open the sun is out & it is just a beautiful day.

SANDY: I hope your daughter's back gets better. There is nothing worse then backpain.

Joyce's Dad is not doing real good. He went into the hospital & now he is on dialysis. They are going to transfer him to a rehab center that can do dialysis. He is in is 80's.

We can't wait until Disney in December. We are REALLY ready for a vacation. We made reservations for Cinderella's Breakfast on 12/01/03 & Disney's Very Merry Christmas Party on 12/04/03. We are waiting to see what narrators are doing the Candlelight Procession before making those reservations.

Hope you all have a terrific weekend. I started to ramble....... :earsgirl: Toodles JEANNE

Bonnie actually posted!!! We miss you!! Hope you are having a great time and that your birthday was a blast! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hockey season is now upon us. First practice is tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 7:15am. Turner also starts Puppy Training classes with Stanley on Sunday afternoons tomorrow. Turner is also going to be playing soccer this season with his school. As long as he keeps up the good work with the academics portion of school, he can keep these activities. Otherwise.....

We worked in the yard this morning. I am pooped!!

Good to see a post from you, Jeanne. We've missed you. Please tell Joyce that she and her father are in my prayers!

Allison must get evicted this week from the Big Brother house. She is so evil!

Enough from me for now. I'll check back in later!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BONNIE!!!!! We sure miss you here. Hope you are having a fantastic time. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Can't believe we heard from Jeanne. Happy days!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sorry to hear about Joyce's dad. Let her know that Ted and I are thinking of her and her father.

Puppy school already???? My they start them young. I think that will be a lot of fun and well worth it. How can you work all that into your busy schedule??

Ted and I got the trailer winterized and put back next to the house today. He literally parks it inches from the garage and maybe a foot or two next to the fence. He does it that way so we can get into it during the winter if we have to. He did a great job. Last year it took about 15 minutes to do it. This year maybe at the most 5 minutes. What a pro! It always turns out to be a neighborhood gathering when he does it. No one can believe that he can do it. It was a bet the first year.

He is ansy to go buy a truck now. I wish I could hold him off till after the wedding. Doubt it though. We still have pew bows to do.

I saw Christmas decorations on sale at Penneys already. A little early wouldn't you think??? Anybody interested in the secret Santa again this year?

I forgot to thank Lori and Julie for the response of the snorkeling questions. Thanks guys! I passed the info on to Stacey. Only one more week to go for the wedding and two for them to board ship. I wish it was me.

Stanley will be 4 months old on the 15th and tomorrow we only have orientation. The class is one hour and on Sunday afternoon. Shouldn't interfere with school or sports. mind you, I said shouldn't.

I forgot to mention to you, Sandy, that we did the 5 star snorkeling excursion to trunk bay. It was geat but too little time for snorkeling. I think we are going to go on our own this time since we have our own gear.

One week countdown for the wedding!! What will you do with your free time, Sandy?

We went to the county fair today and the weather was wonderful. I ate a little too much but I do not care!

I'll talk to you later!

Back from hockey practice and breakfast. Turner is going to have a good team his year and he has great coaches. I am excited about the season. His team this season will be the Oilers.

Turner is also going to try out for the Charlotte Blast team which is an all-star travel team. That means one travel game each month to either:
Charleston, SC
Florence, SC
Augusta, GA
Atlanta, GA
That should be fun. Try-outs are in 2 weeks. I'll let you guys know if he makes the team.

The weather here has cooled off to the mid-upper 70s for this weekend and it has been nice. The nice breeze blowing and the lower humidity have been a blessing. The mid 80s come back this week with the higher humidity.:(

Update on my cat: Abby seems to be perking up a little bit. She doesn't seem as lethargic. A couple of more days on the antibiotic. I'm hoping this will do the trick rather than going through more testing.

I'll chat again later!

Sue: Glad to hear Abby is doing better. Hope Turner makes the All Star team.

Jeanne: Glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear about Joyce's dad. Tell her we are thinking of them.

Bonnie: Happy Birthday!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Sandy: The real count down begins. Just wait till the day before. We ran around like crazy.

Too bad about the DL accident.

I worked this weekend. It was allright. Today is a pretty day.

Good morning everyone.

GOOD LUCK TURNER!!!!!! We will cross our fingers for you.

Glad that Abby is doing better. Maybe just a touch of something.

I think that Stacey should probably venture out and do the snorkeling on her own. I have heard that Trunk Bay is nice. Seems that is where everyone goes.

We are headed to the campground for Stacey's MIL's surprise 60th birthday party. Approx. 80 people will be there. Before we go I think that we will go to a movie. Don't even know what is playing.

GO TURNER !!!!!

Howdy All! We went to the Browns home opener today and it was a good game except that we should have won but didn't. Twice during the game we were on the three yard line (once we were one the one yard line) and couldn't score a touchdown. Poor play calling I think. The final score was 6 to 9.

GOOD LUCK TURNER!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure he will make it. Just tell the coaches that if he doesn't make it that they will have several people from several different states after them! Glad to hear that Abby is doing better. See our Pixie dust is working for her!

Jeanne, glad to hear from you! Please tell Joyce that she and her father are in our thoughts and prayers. Please keep us posted on to his condition. How are things going with Dodger Dog and his "new housemate". It took our cat few days (maybe it was a week or so) to accept that the dog was going to stay when we got our Reilly. Now the cat washes the dog's face everyday. They seem to get along pretty well. They do have their moments though! Hang in there and let us know how things are going!

Sally, just wanted to let you know that Garry checked out that site for tickets to Orlando and he got $216. Not too bad. That has been the lowest we have seen. (actually they were $188 but after taxes and airport fees it was 216) We have been checking the airline sites and they are still high. The lowest we found that way was $231.50.

Sandy, this week remember one thing....... BREATHE IN.... BREATHE OUT..... (repeat) Everything will be perfect for the wedding. Just don't worry (I know easier said then done). We will ALL be there for moral support for you and Stacy wearing our LIME GREEN ATTIRE!!!!!!!!!!! And don't worry, the Big Guy will be bring the wine!

Feeling a little under the weather so won't be posting for a bit but had to check in.

Congrats and good luck Turner.

Jeanne thank you for the Bday gift! You always remember!! Love ya! Tell Joyce I am praying for her and her dad.

Sandy and Julie and Ted and Garry...Love you all!!! What would I do without you!!!!!

TTFN

Welcome back, Bonnie. Hope you feel better soon!
Running late, so can't stay and chat. Everyone have a great day!

Later!

Hope you had a great time Bonnie and GET BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck Turner! Our rep tryouts are done now. Ian did not try out so I didn't have to worry about it. We are convening again this year, but are doing TWO divisions instead of one. Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with me? ;)

Prayers and pixie dust going out for Joyce's Dad.

Julie - the Browns haven't changed much I see! ;) ;) ( but at least you have football again!)

gotta get the kiddos up for school. good day all!

Bonnie: Welcome back and feel better. Maybe you are just heartsick at being away from Glenn! ;)

Not much to say. I have my doctors appointment tomorrow. Hopefully she will tell me the swollen gland is nothing to worry about. Jerry gets a couple of fillings replaced tomorrow afternoon.

I put all the photo albums on the new bookcase. They take up 1/3. Plenty of room left for blank shelves for awhile on the bottom. Miss Kaleigh wants everything she can reach.

Julie, your post was so sweet. I know that you all will be with me in spirit. Gosh, I sure could use ALL of your hugs about now!! A little mushy right now but this dis board famly DOES mean a lot to me. Oh my, I guess I will be a little emotional this week. I am a little teary right now. Hopefully, I will see lime green on Saturday and it will bring a smile to my face.

Denine, you sound like me. My photo albums take up a lot of space. I need to rearrange things. Make sure you check in after the doctor's visit. We will all be with you in spirt.

Diana, there is nothing wrong with you. You are just a GOOD mom.

Susan, hope to hear from you when you have more time!!

Bonnie, hope you get to feeling better soon! I know with being under the weather and swamped at work it is hard. Just post when you are up to it. No mounties for you!

Hi Lori, I see that you are on the internet. I want to go to lunch soon. AND...I would love to go to the Olive Garden thanks to Julie and Denine. Give me a call or email when you aren't working so hard.

I hope all the sick dad's are doing much better.

Now Ted is thinking about NOT buying the truck. He is sooo wishy washy about finances right now. And WDW. He has my support because I would love for him to retire sooner rather than later!

Better go. I am making Heidi's feel good supper. It was her first day of work at the Federal Center. I talked to her and she was very upbeat around 11:30.

Good morning.

Bonnie, I hope you are feeling better! We really did miss you while you were gone. When you are up to it, tell us more about your trip.

Sandy, I do hope you guys make it to WDW in December and I am prayng that we get to see you all on that Saturday (the 6th) after we get off the Magic.

Denine, you are in my prayers today. Let us know how the dr. appt. goes.

Everybody else, have a great Tuesday. I'll try to post this evening. We have PTO so it may be after the meeting before I get back online.

Later!
