Wow! Where is everyone?

I had my appointment this morning. The lymph node was smaller today. The doctor said that if it doesn't go down in 4 weeks or it gets bigger, then I need to have it biopsied. But, more than likely it was from a nasty insect bite that I had recently. I was really hoping she would say that!

Jerry is currently at the dentist.

I am attempting to make ciabatta bread to go with dinner.

We bought Kaleigh a new car seat last night. Not an easy decision!

Nothing else going on.

I look less like a chipmunk today. Abcessed tooth and I looked horrible!!!!! I am now on antibiotics.

I miss Glenn. That's an understatement!!!!

Denine is right. Very slow day today!!!

Sandy I imagine you are busy getting ready for the wedding of the century. I wish I could be there in lime green but I didn't see any e savers for Denver. US Air will be out with theirs tomorrow so we will see!!! If they have any $50 airfares to Denver I would be there in a heartbeat!!!

Ted: Think Disney!!! Not Truck! What do you need a new truck for? Isn't seeing me more important!!!

Not to forget the second most wonderful man on earth...did you miss me Garry???? I'm Back!!!!!!!!!

Wow, after 5 or 6 attempts throughout the day, I got on. Denine, I was thinking about you all day. Glad it was probably just a nasty bug bite.

Bonnie, $50.00 airfares. Whoa, what am I missing? That would be awesome if you could get one!

Susan, PTO. If I know you, you are probably an officer or something. I bet Erika is the next to go on BB. I will be sorry to see her go.

Hi everyone! Just stopping in to say hi! Nothing new over here.
Makenzie has school tomorrow (which she LOVES going to) and I have a doctor's appointment.

Glad to see that Denine's doctor appt. was a good one! I thought about you today. How did Jerry do at the dentist?

Bonnie, glad to see that you are FEELING better and you are back on the boards. I know you must really miss Glenn. When is the next trip scheduled?

Has anyone heard about Joyce's dad? I have been thinking about them too!

Where are the lurkers? Laurie, Lori, Krista, Barb, Sally, Patti? Did I forget anyone? I think the mounties need to be sent out!

Hi guys. I did lurk the other day then kept getting knocked off line. Humph! The usual frenzy here. Too many meetings that last too long and accomplish too little. Cub scout popcorn sales in full swing (guess who's in charge?) and a Back to School night and a Girl Scout Leader meeting. Finally I'm HOME. How about a wine party??? NOW!!! Naw, I'd better go to bed.

Watch that tooth Bonnie...that started all my problems but today I have felt good all day....started ripping up carpet and fall cleaned the kitchen. Dick made a doctor appointment for me and I can't get in until the l8th and I am planning on being well by then...just like a kid, make an appointment and their fever goes down....

Stacey just called. There was a bank robbery at the bank she used to work at yesterday AND one bag of money was found. Guess where----our street. Right across the street. What a feeling that I am having right now.

Sandy- Too bad you couldn't have found the money before they did!!! Then you could go to WDW AND get the truck!!!!! Maybe even treat us to dinner!! Or a cruise? Or ...I better stop now.

Work was a little crazy this morning but I got my much needed mid-day phone call from my sweetie and all went well this afternoon!!!! Then home to an email no less!!! WOW!!!

Mom-nothing gets you down!!!! My check is only slightly swollen now...looks much better!

Sorry guys. We had DSL cable modem problems and just got back up an running about 30 minutes ago. Now, I have to go walk the dog and get some bills paid and supervise the last little bit of homework and watch Big Brother and .......

I didn't do much today...paid bills, went to Curves....

I bet Erica gets sent packing tonight.....I don't like Jun or Ali so one of them will probably win....even if they don't get first prize, second prize isn't bad.....I am going to miss the last show as we leave next Tues....don't know why I get so caught up in these crazy shows....

I hate car seats!!!!!!!!! Followed all the instructions, put the seat into the car only to discover that Kaleigh is too big for the rear facing instructions. She was being strangled by the straps! It is supposed to fit up to 30 pounds rear facing and she is only 20! So, we took the thing back out, not easy with LATCH, and changed some stuff to a forward facing position, but still put the seat in rear facing. She now fits without being strangled. Did I mention that I hate car seats????????

Then this morning, Ollie did something to his left front leg and was limping terribly. You could see he was in a lot of pain. I had to tell Jerry to come home from work so we could take him to the vet. The poor little guys eyes were glazed over in pain. Luckily, it appears to just be a strain/sprain or pulled muscle. She upped his dose of prednisolone for a couple of days. She is going to call on Monday to see how he is doing. He is not supposed to jump down off of stuff. Try to tell him that! We are trying to keep Kaleigh away from him, but it isn't easy.
So Jerry worked ffom home ther rest of the day. We are so thankful he can do that!

Jerry had 2 fillings replaced and a wisdom tooth filled. The dentist still wants to replace more fillings, plus he still needs to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Ugghhh!!!!!!!! It will have to wait awhile.

I made my mammogram appointment. Luckily it is not until we get back from vacation next month. Do I really have to do this???????

Bonnie: Glad to hear you are felling better!

Julie: Kaleigh doesn't need the saucer anymore. Maybe we can get together before we go on vacation and we can return it. You will be needing it before long. How did you doctor appointment go?

Sandy: I am sure the excitement is really building now! Hopefully all the tropical storms will be gone for Stacy's cruise.

Lori: Are the cub scouts selling that chocolate covered popcorn? We were buying it from my nephew. I am not sure if he is still in scouts or not.

Sally: You just sit around? I can't believe that!

Thanks for all the pixie dust. Hopefully the lymph node will behave and go away and I on't have to think about it anymore.

You know Denine it makes me wonder how I raised 4 kids without car seats....then when they did get something to put them in it was that little plastic thing....now you almost have to take out a loan for them and if you have more than one child it is a fortune....and of course if you have 4 like I did you have to have a van....

Almost time to fix dinner....then Big Brother..oh no it is 8 tonight

Denine, I agree!!!! I hate car seats! I had to rearrange Noah's and Graci's in the Suburban because the school actually walks Noah to my car and puts him in and his was on the wrong side for that. Graci's was really nice and tight in the old spot but can't seem to get it tight in the new spot. Poor Ollie, if it isn't one thing it is another for him!

Lori, I forgot there is different kind of popcorn. What I want is the kind that is UNPOPPED and in the past comes in a plastic bag inside of a can.

Ted got his tux today. All I can say is OHHHHH LA LA!

Time for Big Brother. Hate to see Erika go but I know she is. Ali and Jun are so coniving. I guess if Erika goes I want Robert to win.

Hi all just a quick note to say hi. My doctor's appointment went well. The heart beat is strong and the ultrasound report was good, healthy thank heavens. I only gained 1 pound these past four weeks. That puts my grand total for weight gain for the first 5 months at a HUGE 1/2 pound! (cause I lost weight last month). The doctor said the baby is growning nicely so the weight issue wasn't a major concern. I told him that I had been doing the treadmill for the past few weeks and he said that that was good to get exercise and that could explain why I'm not gaining much weight. OK enough of me.

Sandy, I will be thinking of you the next few days. Just do me one favor, PLEASE take the time to enjoy it! Also to remember all the excitement too! Take LOTS of pictures.

Bonnie, sorry I missed your call. I was upstairs and didn't hear the phone ring.

Just a few minutes to post this morning.

Hated to see Erika get the eviction. Now I want Robert to win too. Survivor begins next week!!!!!!! Sally, I get caught up in these shows too. These are really the only 2 that I am addicted to. Big Brother takes a lot of time since it is on 3 nights a week. At least the TV time will be reduced with Survivor.

Pixie dust to Ollie and Jerry! And, I hate car seats too. There has go to be an easier way that the way they are designed today.

I like the chocolate caramel corn too!! Glad I am not in charge of popcorn. That is a huge undertaking.

Julie, good to hear your appointment went well and baby is strong.

Susan, choc. caramel corn? Wow, sounds different but good. I hate getting addicted to these shows too. You always have to be home at a certain time or at least remember to tape it.

Forgot to tell you guys. The high country is getting snow and lots of it. You know what that means is on the way and EARLY. The snow level might drop to around 6000 ft on Saturday and that would mean those of us around the foothills and the wedding chapel. Poor Stacey, she wanted outdoor pics. Cross your fingers!

Ollie is doing better this morning. He is still limping around and uncomfortable, but better than yesterday.
