Garry I think that even though Bonnie has chosen to take a vacation she should still be posting!! What is she thinking just leaving you hanging with no praises!! I sure hope she gets her priorities straight is she decides to run off and visit Glen again!

Thank you Barb, I couldn't agree more! A voice of sanity among all these allegations of blackmail!

By the way Sally, thanks for the tip on Lastminutetravel.com. I checked it out yesterday and was able to find a $236 fare to Orlando. Still high, but better than the $287 I was finding. Plus we have some vouchers for money off with Continental, so that will make the price a little more palatable.

To everyone else (excluding the blackmail allegers :o), have a nice day!

Your welcome Gary only it wasn't Barb that gave you the tip....it was her mom. I am the one going on the cruise to Panama...you know Barb doesn't go anyplace but Disneyworld......lol.

Good Morning!!

Sandy-I love to go to Giuseppe's!! Once your life settles after the wedding we could meet there!! It would be easy for you to get there since it is not far from the highway! Then the next time we could meet in Denver somewhere then Colorado Springs etc...
Wooo Hooo long term friendship!!!

Tiffany cheer'd last night in the rain. She was thrilled with the see through poncho they gave her. I personally prefer the bright yellow one with Mickey on it!

Garry-Bonnie must be having "Garry praising" withdraws I feel really bad for her. She is probably counting down the days till she can get home and type type type her praises to you!
I have a question....How do Cops pull over more then one person at a time?? This has bothered me for so long. One of those nagging questions in life.

Well another day is upon us. Hopefully we well be full staffed today. Have a wonderful day everyone.......

Barb:smooth:

I knew that! Just look at my post again...I said Sally! :smooth:

Well, if you're only going to go to one place, it might as well be Disney World!

I agree! She must be so distraught! I guess she'll just have to double her efforts when she gets back until she feels better!:p

As for your question, I'm assuming you are asking how they get two cars to stop at the same time. I usually get in front of the first car if they are in front of the other and turn my lights on and stop. I then get out and wave them both over. It doesn't always work, but that's what a radio and backup is for!

Hello people. Had a busy day. I tell you, I can't wait for my life to calm down. It is exactly 1 1/2 weeks to go before the wedding and 1 week before Heidi starts at the Federal Center. We will work feverishly to winterize the trailer and then R&R. We are thinking about going to Vail for a weekend.

Big Brother tonight and I predict Gee will be gone. If I was a gambler I would bet that Allison will be in the final two. Yuck!

Where is Susan today?????? And Jeanne, you are starting to slack! Krista, you got our hopes up and then disappeared again. Diana, you are doing pretty good for abandoning us for a very long time!:D Lori, is too busy and Laurie is lurking.

Wanna hear something sad? Stacey is in severe pain. She threw her back out right before the wedding. Please send some pixie dust her way for the wedding. Poor girl is only 23 and has chronic back problems. She came over tonight before her DR. appt crying in pain, bless her heart.

Man, I tell you Garry. You sure have these girls buffaloed. What in the world are you holding over all of them??????;)

PIXIE DUST FOR HEIDI!!!!!!!!! I hope her doctor will be able to give her something for the pain. I will send lots of pixie dust and warm wishes for her!

I hope that Bonnie is having a good time! I'm sure she is thinking about us!;) ;)

Where is Denine today? Boy people must really busy lately! Where has Laurie the Lurker been? I have gotten some e mails from her, but she hasn't posted lately. I think it is time to send out the mounties!

I have been very busy the last few days and didn't have time to post. Sorry...

I had to help Paul with quite a bit of office work last evening. Surveillance reports and invoices. He has to go to court on one case this morning. Needless to say, he has been busy too!

Turner has hockey try-outs this evening and no more brace on the wrist!! He's really excited about hockey season starting back up. Practice will be on Tuesdays evenings and games on Saturday or Sunday mornings.

I don't think I ever told you guys I have ulcerative colitis. I haven't had a flare up in 2 years but it is back with a vengeance right now. Back on meds and have a doctor's appointment in a couple of weeks. I had almost forgotten how bad this was!

Good news is this weeks my Dad's blood work showed a tremendous improvement. They are going to reduce his procrit shots to every other week. He also had a new PSA test last week and it was 0.1 (still excellent for trying to keep the prostate cancer under "control").

Enough about us!!

LOT and LOTS of PIXIE DUST for Stacey. They have to get that under control before her wedding! That is horrible to have such back problems at her age!

This is for you, Sandy - slowly breathe in, hold, breathe out. Again, slowly breathe in, hold, breathe out. Repeat this several times a day. The wedding will be here before you know it and everythingnwill be beautiful. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Arent' we all supposed to show up at the reception wearing lime green ?lol

I'll try to post again soon.

Love to you all!
Later!

Susan, you crack me up. Yea, you are welcome to come but.......lime green??? Not too elegant. Wow, so much going on in your life. I am sorry about your return bout of ulcerative colitis. I am sure that it is certainly not fun to go through. Take care!!! Great news about your dad!

Julie and Susan, thanks for the pixie dust for Stacey. I just hate seeing her eyes well up because of the pain. It is very hard on MOM, too.

I now predict Erica will go this week on BB unless something drastic happens.

Hope everything is ok with Denine. She rarely takes time off from the board lately. Maybe she is just busy with buying all that new stuff.

I have NOT abandoned this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got back from Georgia Monday night. Tuesday was 1st day of school and Ian has an ear infection (inside and outside!). I make him go for the first half of the day and pick him up at lunch. He was home yesterday and went today. He still is feeling pretty bad but didn't want to miss anymore school as it just started. Lianna says she likes going every day but did ask "why did you sign me up for school?" this morning!

The wedding was fabulous! We rented a house with a pool about 4 blocks from my Dad's place (to keep the kids away from where the wedding was going to be) which was great! The kids spent every second they could in the water! It rained at our rental house twice but never rained at my Dad's -- weird! The men all changed out of their dress clothes/tuxes after the ceremony into shorts and hawaiian shirts, sounds strange but seeing my sister dance in her wedding dress with my Dad in his shorts and hawaiian shirt was really cute! We all were in tears when my Dad walked my sister in at the beginning of the ceremony as you all know we never expected to see this day! It was very special! The weather was HOT but I love hot so I was happy! My Dad is doing ok. The day of the wedding (Sat.) he felt good, the other days not so good but that's to be expected. I think he was just tired and that didn't help.

The phones ringing so gotta go -- hope it's not Ian needing to come home! And he never gets sick, it's awful!

I'm here. I had an OB/GYN appointment yesterday, so Jerry worked from home. That means no computer time for me.
My doc found an enlarged lymph node right above my collar bone, but no where else. I have not been ill lately, just allergies. I can't find any info that says allergies can cause this. I have to see a general surgeon on Tuesday morning. They were insistant that I make the appointment before I left the office. I also need to schedule my first mammogram. She likes to do a screening at 35 and then yearly starting at 40. Jerry is so worried that I have cancer or something horrible. I keep telling him the odds are on my side.

My bookshelves arrive tomorrow morning. Yeah!

Kaleigh is feeling better, but now that she pulls up on everything, she doesn't want to nap! She gets so crabby though.

Sue: Great news about your dad! Sorry to hear about the ulcerative colitis flare up.

Sandy: I feel for Stacey. If anyone knows about back pain, it is I. I had a spinal fusion at the age of 17 and have had chronic pain ever since. Sometimes, it doesn't bother me at all, but not lately. I am lifting Kaleigh too much. Now I have been getting painful back spasms as well. I will be happy when I don't have to lift her as much.

Julie: Let me know how the french toast comes out.

So who is going to take Bonnie's place in singing Garry's praises?

Barb: Hope your day goes well.

Hi guys, just got back from dinner with Stacey and Richard. She is zoned out on the drugs for her back. We went out to eat to give them the ins and outs of cruising. Neither one have been before. They are going on the Magic Eastern. They still don't have their docs yet. Not even excursion info so I gave it to them.

Diana, the wedding sounded just perfect. It was so wonderful that your dad was able to participate.

Denine, I really feel for you and your back. I have back problems but NOTHING compared to you. I can't even imagine what you go through. Let us all know the results of your lymph node tests. We all will be sending pixie dust your way. Yucky mammograms. I hate them! But I do get them yearly.

Going to go check the cruise board. I thought that I had read where the dinner arrangements had changed on the Eastern. (formal, semi formal and tropical nights) Haven't been on for months. Might be fun.

Just a quick post since we just got home from hockey try-outs and dinner. Then had to feed Stanley and take him for late night walk.

Denine - I hope all goes well with the lymph node!! You'll be in my prayer!

Sandy - Stacey is still in my thoughts and prayers, too! I predict Allison goes next. Her time is way overdue! I guess I want either Jun or Erika to win the whole thing! Lime green - the DIS reunion color for the wedding! Wouldn't you be surprised if we all showed up like that! Stacey would probably order all of the lime green thrown out!!

Diana - welcome back! Glad your dad was up to enjoying the wedding. I hope you all have a great cruise. Pixie dust to Ian! Hope Lianna settles in to school soon.

Had a full day. Took the day off and got Stanley (and Abby) to the vet. Stanley got his rabies shot and some other boosters. Abby is not doing so great. She has been drinking a LOT of water lately and they tested her for diabetes. That tested OK but they gave her an antibiotic in hopes that her white blood count is for a bladder infection. The vet was not optimistic but didn't want to put her through more today since she didn't do so well during the exam. When they drew blood she was very lethargic and didn't fight them at all. If her demeaner and drinking habits do not improve by Monday, we may have to have x-rays and an ultrasound. The vet thinks something more serious is going on. She is 14 and I know she is getting old. She also has lost a pound since her last visit and when she only weighed 6 pounds, 1 pound was a huge drop. She now weighs 5 pounds exactly. Please keep my little Abby in your prayers!

Enough from me for now. I'll try to post in the morning before I leave for work.

Later!

Ohhhhhhhh, poor Abby. She sure is in our prayers!

I have been posting on some other threads tonight for Stacey's questions and noticed that I was close to 1000 posts. I had to come over to this one to do it. Wow, I guess I have been quite chatty over the last couple of years.

Lori, I know I asked before but can't find your response. How and where did you go snorkeling at St John on your own? Did you snorkel at St Maarten? Stacey and Richard are major snorkeling fans and would love to hear all about your experiences. Good and bad. Anybody else? They still don't have their docs and I can't help. Thanks!

And Julie, what did you say about the new ride at Epcot? Good, bad? Could she do it if her back still hurts? Scary?

Here's to 1000 posts!

Sandy, the Mission Space at EPCOT has gotten great reviews. Garry will have to post to tell you how the ride is for someone with back problems. He and Anna Marie rode it 6 times when we were there. I was DYING to go on it, but..... after January!

I think that Jun or Erika will be going this time. I think that everyone wants to keep ALison around because they all KNOW that NO ONE will vote for her in the end. I can't stand Alison! She is totally a two faced, good for nothing, cheating, etc... B****! ( I know, tell you how I really feel!:p)

Denine, keep us posted on your doctor's reports. I'm sure that everything is fine. You are in our thoughts and prayers! Pixie Dust to you!!!!!!!!!!

Susan, ditto on the pixie dust for Abby. I know what it is like to have a sick pet and you don't know what is wrong and they can't tell you. That just rips my heart out. We had a cat, Radar, when we forist got together and we spent soooooooooo much money on him when he became ill. The result wasn't what we wanted (the vets had to put him to sleep:( ) but we know that he had a gerat life with us and we KNOW that we did what we could for him. Prayers to you and Abby! Keep us posted.

Makenzie starts preschool 4year old class tomorrow. She is sooooooooooo excited! Everyday this week she has asked, do I go to school today? I'm glad she likes it so much. She will be going every Mon. Wed., and Fri morning. The Big Guy really wants to go too, but he has to be potty trained and he isn't quite there yet. He knows all his numbers, colors, and shapes. He is working on the letter of the alphabet. He sings along with the Disney songs and the radio. Even music on tv. Both kids are taking after their father with unbelievable memories! You show or tell them something and they DON'T forget!

Oh well, gonna go. I will be back later! Have a great Friday!

:bounce: Hello Everyone!!! :bounce:

Sorry that I haven't checked in.....I just got done reading the last several pages!! ;) Kristen is back in school this week and we are back in the homework thing......some of you can relate to that frustration!!  Now that she is in 5th grade and she has to move from teacher to teacher it is a little more chaotic. Its not that they coordinate as to who is giving out how much homework on a particular day.......oh well we will get through it. Tomorrow is our first soccer game and we are looking forward to that!! Tonight we are going to a black tie fundraiser for our local zoo, so John is off to pick up his tux and and am rushing off to get my hair done right after work. It should be a blast!!! It is an outdoor event right on the zoo grounds, which is right on Lake Michigan. They have a huge tent set up, and set up a wooden dance floor. Our zoo is one of the only free zoos in the U.S. and it is actually quite impressive. Hopefully the weather will hold out :p !!

Have a great day everyone!!

Diana: Sounds like the wedding was beautiful!

Sandy: I love to plan vacations. They will have a blast on the cruise. I am still waiting to hear from my TA about 2005. We ended up calling her only to find out she was leaving for Florida and won't be back until Sunday. She did leave a message. She got hit really bad by that computer virus worm. That explains why I haven't heard from her.

Julie: I can just see Makenzie asking every day if she gets to go to school.

Laurie: The fundraiser sounds like fun!

Thanks for the pixie dust. Hopefully all will turn out well. Being a nurse, you always think the worst. And Jerry is the worlds biggest worry wort. When we first started trying to get pregnant, he was worrying about babysitters!

I got my bookshelves this morning. They look so nice in the living room. Now I have to work on filling them.

I have to work this weekend. I am not into it this week.

I forgot. I weighed myself and gained a pound. We did munch on fair food last week.

Just got home from Curves and today was weigh in day...lost 6 lbs and 2 inches....total to date l5 lbs. Just think if I had been going since I joined I would probably be at my goal weight

It is pretty nice out today....Dick has taken our banister out and putting in a half wall.....can't wait until I get my new carpet...

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hello to all. Sally, I can't believe how much you have lost. Congratulations! How are you feeling/

Denine, just think, more shopping to do to fill your bookshelves. Fun, Fun!!

Julie, don't worry. I feel the same way about Alison. But remember when it comes down to the vote (just like Survivor), a lot of them will vote because she "played" the game. Outwitted and outlasted. Thanks for the opinion on Mission Space.

And Laurie, what can I say?? H _ E_ _L _ L - O! :) The zoo event sounds absolutely wonderful. Take pictures and send one our way. I can't believe that Kristen changes teachers in 5th grade. Quite honestly, I was always pessimistic at the beginning of a new school year and things always worked out. Teachers never coordinate as their class is always most important.

Oh my goodness. I was just over on the attactions board and read that the Big Thunder Mountain ride derailed at Disneyland. Left 11 injured on of which is critical. How sad is that?? Guess it has hit CNN. I personally read a blurb on it on a ABC site so it isn't an internet rumor. Pray for all those affected.
