Julie, sorry but I have to scold you (I am entitled to as a big sis). Pregnancy is not the time to worry about weight. A healthy weight gain is important for you and the baby. I think Jeanne and Joyce would love to chime in on this one!!

I'm not worried about my weight. I was just mentioning that I had lost a pound last time I had a visit. Don't worry my doctor will give me the what for if I lost more weight (trust me on this one, I didn't.:p ) Believe me, if you see pictures of me now and in a month, you won't have to worry! LOL! When I was 7 1/2 months prego with the Big Guy, I was a walking HOUSE at Disney! But most of it is baby. I really didn't gain that much weight. The books say 30 lbs is the "right" gain, but I have never gained that much. The most was I think 17 lbs.

Tell Ted YOU WILL be going and there is no IF's AND's or BUT's about it. Tell him if he doesn't, we will all be coming and staying with you!

We didn't need the "pillowsoft" mattress like some other people (I'm not mentioning any names Bonnie).
It wasn't so much the pillowsoft mattress as the free upgrade to a waterview room for the $10 extra dollars...plus they were charging the $129/ night but for fri and sat it was $214 so it all evened out in the long run...actually may have been a little cheaper.

Barb-we would never forget you...we did look for you at the wine party...hmmm...I think you forgot about us!!! LOL!

Julie-I can't wait to see a walking house in December.

OOPS!!! I was going to strike until Ted agreed to go in December!

Ok...gotta go...come on Ted, just think of being in WDW with all we beautiful women!!!! Of course you have to share me now! LOL!

Ted has to go!!! I am hoping to see as many of you as I can when we get back from the cruise we are planning to drive over to Disney for the day before we head home on Sunday the 7th. Looks like we will miss Jeanne and Joyce since we will still be on the Magic while they are there.

Today is our reorg at work. I am hoping for a great deal of change. We need it! We have an all day meeting to roll out the org structure and meet with our new teams. Guess I better go get ready!

Later!

We will be in WDW the 30th through the 9th. Come on Ted, you guys have to come too!

Not much going on here. At least it is supposed to be nice for a few days in a row!

Nothing gained, nothing lost.

I am in the process of planning Kaleigh's birthday party. I am planning an Oktoberfest. Now I just have to come up with a menu and look through my recipes. We already bought the Pooh decorations and such.

Sandy: We were supposed to have pew bows with red roses and alter flowers. My brother's MIL made our bouquets and such. Thank goodness for that because the flower shop (right across from the church) never delivered the flowers. We were also supposed to have roses for our mom's and Mary's altar. The priest called them and made them bring the roses for our mom's and Mary's altar. They forgot to make the others, it was Sweetest Day and they had a lot of orders. We got our money back and an ugly dried arrangement for our inconvenience.

Good Morning!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Sandy-I use to work in a flower shop and have done numerous weddings. I made pew bows all the time. Use pipe cleaners to tie the bows because they don't scratch pews. Does the church have chairs or regular pews?? Check with the church because many of them will not allow bows because they can scratch the wood. If you need any help I would be happy to help make them.

Missy was home sick yesterday so Bob and I took dinner to her and sat and talked to her for a while. We really enjoyed our visit with her. She is even keeping her apartment clean. Sure not the same girl that lived with me!!

Barb:smooth:

Sandy is happy, happy, happy!!!!!!!! Ordered two altar flowers. Bouquets of white roses, both large and small roses. Got the containers for 20% off. The ladies I am working with are soooooo nice and willing to please. They showed me how to make beautiful pew bows out of white tulle and add mini roses and greenery. Cheaper than the traditional bows and even prettier and actually easier. I am surprising Stacey. The bouquets will be done in time for the shower. Ted, Heidi and I will probably have the pew bows done by then too. When I was at Hobby Lobby I spotted an arch on clearance for $6.00. Can you believe it???? SIX DOLLARS! We had already purchased the vines for an arch in case we rented one for 54.00. Wow, I am soooo excited. I am on cloud 9.

Barb, what a sweetie to volunteer to help. I probably would have accepted but now everything is falling into place. Thanks! I asked Gregory last night at the chapel and he said to use pipe cleaners so I assume all is good with them. Any idea how to protect peoples clothing so the pipe cleaners don't snag their clothes?

Guess I will have to contact DU reservations the regular way now as no one has contacted me with a quote. Please, no strikes because of party pooper Ted! If we go, Heidi will come too. I want her to meet as many of you as she can. She almost feels like she already knows you all.

Big Brother tonight. Bye bye Nathan. Heidi watches Paradise Hotel and got me interested. Anyone watch it?

Gosh, it just doesn't seem possible to be thinking about Kaleigh's birthday. Wasn't she just born???

Just wanted to say a short "hello" and "goodnight". Another great day at work - two days in a row! Caught up quickly on the postings.

Have a great Thursday! Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Just a quick post - I need to get to bed.

The reorg went great today. I am very excited about the change. I have a new manager and she is great. I was hoping I would get to work for her. A lot of people are not very happy about the changes but I am.

My Dad's Procrit is still not solving all of his problems with his blood count. They are planning to do an iron infusion on Monday. I couldn't go with his to the doctor's visit today becasue of the reorg meeting. I hate I missed this appointment. His MCV is at 76 (I don't even know what that means). Nurses, can you give me a clue?

Got the lawn mower back from repairs today and helped Paul with the lawn this afternoon. Then I went to the pool for a little work out. Weighed in today and lost 6/10ths of a pound. Every little bit counts.

Sandy - Glad the wedding plans are falling in to place. Hope to meet Heidi in December.

Denine - It is hard to believe Kaleigh is going to have her 1st birthday. We need new pictures!

Jeanne - glad you checked in but get soem rest.

Bonnie - where are you?

Later!

More tomorrow when when I have more time.

Wow, 3 pages.
Sandy, be very careful about surprising BRIDES. That's all I'll say.
The kids start school Monday. Mixed feelings on that one. I still haven't recovered from the homework nightmare of last year.

Loved hearing from everyone. Oh and Bonnie, you looked lovely in the pictures. Was Glenn visible in any of them???

The kids and I have been working on a float for a big parade this Saturday, for the past 2 days. Tomorrow should finish it off. Katie will be a butterfly on board and I'll walk behind (picking up fallen butterflies and caterpillars I suppose) It's the entry for the hospital where I work. I'm having a blast seeing my ideas get used.
Tomorrow night is a "Welcome back" party for Katie's class. I'm doing it with the other 'Room Mom' from last year so at least I'm not alone in this. We are renting the Country Club where she belongs and I just hope enough kids show up with their $3 bucks and we break even. No damage allowed either, gotta get that deposit back. They'll have full use of the pool, tennis courts and a grass area where I'll set up badminton. 6:30-9pm. Please have me in your prayers during those hours! LOL

Better get to bed. Busy day again tomorrow with the float then the party. Ohh, Cody's first Orthodontist appt. tomorrow morning too! Yikes. Am I officially grown up when my baby gets braces? I think I'll move that mark back to when my baby has gray hair.:p

Hi All! Just a quick post and then off to bed. Doctor appt. went well today. Only gained 1/2 pound. I was very suprised with that! Baby's heart beat is stong he says. I have to call for an ultrasound appt. tomorrow.

I did some much needed yard work this afternoon and evening and I am tired.

Will check back in later today!!!!!! Have a good day everyone!

Woke up with a sinus headache and I was uncomfortably hot (and we have A/C and the ceiling fan is on high!). Thought I'd log in to see if there was anything new.

Julie - sounds like a good Dr. appt. Good!

Lori - do you ever rest? You make me tired just reading what all you do. Good luck with the parade and the party (and the orthodontist appt.) You are a gret Mom!

Big Brother report - Good bye, Nathan. Wonder who has flown the coop???lol

Later!

Well 2 more days of work and the weekend is here! Nothing planned but still I can sleep late!

Lori-Glenn was in the one table picture next to me feeding Olivia. And I agree with Sue...a great mom! You have more energy...well you and Sue than all of us put together.

My son was called back for Wheel of Fortune and made it to the finals. They will notify them in 2 weeks if he gets on the show.

Good job Sandy...I think the bows will be a nice surprise. Especially if she wanted them in the first place.

Ted...think WDW in DEC...think WDW in DEC...think WDW in DEC...think WDW in DEC...think WDW in DEC... Trying to brainwash you!

Good morning all.

Lori, I was thinking about the same thing---surprising a BRIDE but I kind of said a few things to get a feel. Her "adopted grandparents" just went to a wedding so I used that. Wow, that party sounds like so much fun. Sure wish Dennison did the same thing. Don't get overly tired with the parade, work and party. Man, I am tired just thinking about it.

Susan, hope you are feeling better! I am happy for you that you the reorg is going ok. Sorry about missing your dad's dr. appt.

Bonnie, that is pretty cool that Ryan got called back for Wheel of Fortune. Can't wait to see if he makes it. Make sure to let us all know.

Julie, good to hear that the baby has a stron heartbeat. Let us know about the ultrasound.

Julie and Susan, don't you just hate it when Big Brother has a HOH competition that doesn't end that night? But, they always have fun ones when they do!

Have a great day!

Good morning! It is supposed to be a beautiful day, warm and sunny.

Yesterday was a tough day. I was feeling very overwhelmed by everything that still needs to be done around here, plus the everyday stuff. Kaleigh was into the cat dishes I don't know how many times (she tasted the food the other day) and she was a MAJOR crab last night. After she finally finished her bottle, she was put to bed at 9 PM, I went to bed. By 9:30, she was awake and screaming. Jerry comes in a little while later to tell me she was just screaming her head off. I told him to get her up and give her a couple more ounces of formula. He got her up, but wouldn't drink so he brings her to me. I calm her down and get back up to feed her. Jerry put her back to bed soon after and got to bed around 10:45. Sometime after he came to bed, I heard Kaleigh crying again. Luckily it didn't last long and she fell back to sleep until I woke her up at 8 AM. Don't know what the problem was, but it put a cap on a not so good day.

We are going over to some friends on Saturday. They have a digital camera. I'll have him take some pictures of Kaleigh and I can e-mail them to everyone.

Sandy: Sounds like everything is coming together.

Jeanne: Glad the strike didn't happen and that work is good.

Bonnie: Let us know if Ryan gets on WOF.

Julie: Glad to hear the MD appt went fine.

Lori: I could never keep up with your schedule. I just don't have the energy.

Sue: Hope that sinus H/A went away. Sorry that your dad isn't doing as well as everyone would like.

We received our tickets in the mail for Mickey's halloween party.

Kaleigh will be 1 on Sept. 25th. It is hard to believe.

Good Morning!

Hey Denine what about me?? I feel left out!
Sorry about your evening. Hope today goes better.

Camping is only a little over a week away. I am not good with the unknow. I am just not a camper. But I am sooo determined to make this happen. I rented 2 tents yesterday. I need space! I am putting the 3 girls in one and Bob and I will have one. All the people we are going with are campers.

Last night was Mother/Daughter night. Missy, Jaymee and I went to dinner and a movie. Tiffany has her youth group. It was fun spending time with the girls.

Julie-Glad to hear the baby is doing well.

Sandy & Lori- Are we ever going to plan the get together??

Lori- I have done floats before for parades. One for my 2 girl scout troops and one for our church. I got to design both of them. It was loads of fun but lots of work. I had glitter from one end of my house to the other!!

Bonnie-Loved the pictures. Olivia is beautiful and the dress looked so pretty on her.

Susan-Hope you are feeling better. Bummer about the headache
Glad work is going good.

Jeanne-Glad to see you posting more! I have missed you.

Barb

:smooth:

Sorry about your day Denine. Hope everything is going much better today.

Barb, as overwhelmed as I am feeling right now, could we postpone any date making until AFTER the wedding? Maybe we all could meet for dinner at a restaurant somewhere after Sept 13th. I don't think Sally needs any more headaches. It would definitely be much easier. Glad you are going with experienced campers. That should take a load off of you. Just relax and have a good time. There really isn't anything to it.

My baby Grace is going around right now humming. How cute! She is almost 17 months.

Going camping tonight. Won't be as hot this weekend, supposedly, so that is good. Will check in when we get back or tomorrow before we go down for the final time. Have a good weekend all. Sandy

Wondering how many of my friends are impacted by the blackout:
Denine?
Julie?
Bonnie?
Joyce?
Diana?

We have thunderstorms again but at least we have the power on.

The headache is gone. I took some sinus meds, went back to bed and woke up fine this morning.

Not gonna stay online because of the storms.
Later!

OK Barb...I will start with you. Sounds like you'll have fun camping. I used to go when I was a preteen with mom and some family friends. Actually the first time we went all we had were sleeping bags...no tent. The guy at the state park asked us what we were camping in and mom said "sleeping bags" he said "no, I mean what are you camping in tent, trailer?" she told him "sleeping bags". I think he thought we were nuts...I guess we were.

Sandy-before you know it the wedding will be over, it will be a great success and then you'll wonder what all the stress was about. I was not at all involved in the planning of my son's wedding or anything...even the shower...not consulted who to invite, or what I would like to contribute...we were even told when we went to sit down that we weren't allowed to sit at a particular table...so count yourself lucky to be involved.

Sue...hope you are feeling better.

Denine...motherhood...sometimes it's great sometimes it's trying...never bad. Just one of those days. I can remember when Ryan had croup sleeping on the floor outside his room so I could hear him...the humidifier was on so I closed the door. There are days and there are days...enjoy each memory.
