Supervisor Bonnie here! LOL!

Barb I agree with all the rest. Although the kids now seem to group date all the time anyway. Ryan always did. They were always with friends. Although none of the gilrs paid much attention to him until he was 16...when he got his contact lenses...then it was all over!! He had them drooling over him! LOL! He did get to go to all the cottilians (sp) though. Ususally with a friend rather than a girlfriend though. I guess being the mother of a boy my views are a little different. I imagine if I had a girl she would not be allowed to date until older although I imagine it does a lot for Jaymee's confidence to know she is with a junior! Oh Oh!!! Junior prom!!! How fun!!!! LOL! All that shopping for the perfect dress. Ugh!

Well, have to run...2 more blocks and 2 sets of elevators starting today.

Good morning everyone and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DAVE AND KRISTA AND GARRY AND JULIE !!! March was a busy month for anniversaries for all of us!

Veggie burger?? No, not me. Ted and I went out for Mexican. Heidi was gone and Ted had to work all night on the computer so we had a nice relaxing dinner before he started working again. The city is paying him as a contractor to get some extra work done. If any of you know what it is -- he is writing legals. He is having to do it off city hours because of it. Soooo.... Wednesday he is taking the day off (using vacation) and working on the computer. I will more than likely not post or check in.

Lori, we HAVE to have lunch soon. I am afraid that Ted would come looking for you if you ate his cookies. This Wednesday I am running down to Castle Rock to the Corning Revere outlet. They will close their doors in April. It will be 60 degrees. What a nice day to go outlet shopping! Tell Ben to hang in there. I remember several snow days that the City expected the employees to either make it in or count it as vacation days. THAT STINKS! Ted would always drive in. He never wanted to give in to the City. I understand though with this storm, Ben didn't even have a chance to drive.

Gotta go. My little one is coming. She turned 1 on Saturday and she started walking during the snowstorm. I missed it all. Poor me!!!! Between us, her son started walking here. I never told her. I didn't want her to know that she missed a milestone in his life.

Hey all!

Happy anniversary to Krista & Dave and Julie & Garry!

We received our Disney credit cards in the mail yesterday.

It was nice. We went for another 3 mile walk. If it is not raining when we get home from Kaleigh's doctor appointment, maybe we can go for another one. Hoping tomorrow's weigh-in is kind to all of us.

Lori: Have fun!

Bonnie: Too bad about the fridge, but at least you had a good weekend and San Francisco is only a month off. Just stay away from the demonstrators!

Julie: Shame on you for only lurking!

Sue: I wish we were in your weather. It is supposed to get cold and snow this weekend. When will it end??????

Nothing else going on here.

Good Morning!!

Thanks for all the support. It confirms to me that I am doing the
right thing. I always doubt myself if I am being to protective and not trusting enough. That is a great idea about having him over to play cards and eat snacks. I am going to stick with the group dating next summer and date dating at 16. :D

We had a dusting of snow last night. All our blizzard snow is gone. I don't mind the snow especially since it goes away the next day!!

Oh one last thought......

Missy, my oldest daughter's boyfriend Mike, received word
yesterday that he is being deployed to Kuwait. He is in infintry and will be on the front line. Please keep him in your prayers.

Barb, Mike will certainly be in our prayers. Our thoughts and prayers are also with Missy during this hard time.

Barb - I can't say it any better than Sandy did. Pass on our support!

What another beautiful day today. It is currently 77 and it is 6:10pm. We are supposed to be back in the mid 50s by Sunday. I'll take it while I've got it!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DAVE AND KRISTA AND GARRY AND JULIE!!!

I can't believe Julie has been a lurker!! Shame!!

Sandy, Ted will have to give you a little computer time just to check in. Tomorrow is weigh in day and I expect to have good news. I will be devestated if the trend downward has not begun!!

Later!

Happy Anniversary Krista and Dave!!

I survived my first day as supervisor...did very little...I don't like starting a new job I feel stupid!!!! Funny how you go from knowing everything and people coming to you to knowing nothing and feeling useless...hopeless...I figure it will take about 6 months before I start to feel comfortable.

That's all that is new here!

Bonnie, you'll be usefull very, very soon! Get plenty of sleep and keep your eyes and ears open. They'll think you know it all in much less than 6 monthes for sure!

Barb, more prayers for Missy's Mike.

Good luck on your weigh-in's everyone. I'm out of here for a few days now, SEE ya.

Hi All! Nothing new going on here, just wanted to check in. PLUS I had to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEN FLOYD!

party-smiley-049.gif

May you have a GREAT DAY!

Good Morning Everyone!!

We are having another sunny beautiful day. I had heard there may be more snow on the way.

Missy and Mike were over for dinner last night. It is strange to see him know next week he will be in the middle of war. He just turned 21 on Saturday and seems so young to me. He doesn't seem to have a clue what he is headed for.

Thank you for all the prayers for Mike.

Ryan (Jaymee's boyfriend) is leaving for Florida today for a 5 day vacation with his uncle. Lucky him!!

The girls are out on Spring break this week and next. I think I will take a day off and maybe go to Denver shopping.

Congradulations Bonnie on the first day of being a Supervisor.

How is everyone doing with the weight loss thing? I think I am staying around the same. Today I go to the Y to work out again.
Oh happy day. It always feels great when it is over.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Barb

Has anyone noticed that the DisneyWorld website is
is unable to be accessed right now?? It was like that yesterday too. I am wondering if they are FINALLY undating it. the 100 year celebration ended Feb 28th but they were still advertising it.
Hope it is up soon.

Happy Anniversary Julie and Garry &
Dave and Krista!!!!

Barb: Tell Mike, he is in our prayers!

I lost 2 more pounds!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc My jeans are getting looser!

Kaleigh is now 16-1/2 pounds and 25-1/2 inches long. She is pretty much right in the middle of the percentile graphs. We tried juice in a cup today and have the OK to start meats once she has tried all the fruits and veggies. She is still working on peas and has peaches to go.

Bonnie: I hate starting new jobs. More power to you!

Nothing else new here.

Before I turn the computer over to Heidi for an all day homework session, I wanted to check in. Ted lost out on the house computer so he is doing his side work at work. I forgot to weigh in and I am already dressed. I will have to do it tomorrow.

Denine, wow, 7 pounds already off. How are you doing it? How can I get motivated? Did you know that 10 pounds is considered a dress size sooooo you have already almost lost one dress size in three weeks. Help me get motivated like you. You are the greatest!

Susan, I know with your willpower that you will have a couple off this week too. For some reason, I am feeling a little motivated today again. Maybe if you lose and Denine already did, I can feel bad, bad, bad about not being as good as you guys.

Bonnie, hang in there. I bet it doesn't take the 6 months like you are expecting. You have brains and that is why they hired you!!!

Denine, the baby that I daycare for, Graci, just turned one and she is only in the 10th percentile. She only weighs 18 pounds. Just a little tyke with no hair. Kaleigh is doing great!

Hi Barb, more snow for tomorrow for us, too. Heard about 6-8 inches. Heard that you won't have it as bad again. My other daughter, Stacey, is in Glenwood Springs for Spring Break and is expected to drive down Friday morning. The mtns are suppose to get even more so I am really worried.

Speaking of Glenwood Springs, anybody still interested in a summer reunion around there? Like Aspen, Glenwood etc? How many of you are interested? Hoteling it? RVing it?

Gotta go. Time for Heidi to get to work. Time for me to go shovel the snow in the street. You pile it there and then you have to shave it off periodically or it never will melt. Still can't see around the mounds to back out of the driveway. Have a great day everyone. Love to all!

Hi Sandy! Count me in for the reunion. It sounds fun.

Yes Denine share your weight loss secrets!!!!

Barb

Sandy: You started this weight loss support group. How can you not be motivated? This is the most motivated I have been in a long time.

I got down to this weight before the cruise, but I gained it all back. I hate the way I look.
Here is my diet:
Breakfast: 1 bowl of cereal for breakfast with skim milk and a glass of OJ.
Late morning: 1, 8 oz glass of V-8 vegetable juice
Lunch: 1 can of slim fast
Late afternoon: 1, 8 oz glass of diet V-8 splash
Dinner: 1 can of slim fast
Evening: 1 bowl of cereal with skim milk. (Sometimes, I skip the cereal and have airpopped, popcorn sprayed with regular pam and coated with popcorn salt)
All day: All of the diet, caffeine free pop that I want.

This is the first diet that I don't feel especially hungry or deprived. I have been using the Kellogs fruit harvest berry cereal and Special K. Don't forget the multivitamin and calcium supplement.

I also walk when I can get outside.

This isn't a long term solution, but if I can get the weight off and shrink my stomach, I will be better able to handle portion control.

Oh Denine, I love you!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your secret. I honestly think that I will try that as soon as I go to a grocery store. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I CAN do it not I think I can. Also, I needed to feel guilty like I said when I first started this thing and now you helped me with that, too, when you said "you started this weight loss support group".

Question for the October 23, 2004 cruisers. Are any of you interested in buying t-shirts from the Disney catalog that can be personalized for free? Just got my catalog and got to thinking that it might be fun. It can be personalized in three lines with 36 characters per line. I thought something like: DIS Family Reunion Cruise, Disney Magic, October 2004. I believe the cost was 18.50 per t-shirt. Just a thought. Thought I would throw it out to see how many bites.

I lost 4.6 pounds!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I was hoping for 3 pounds. What a surprise!

You can do it, Sandy! Drinking a lot of water is a big key for me. I probably drink between 75-90 ounces a day. Sounds like a lot but the more I drink the more I want of it. Way to go, Denine. I do Bran Flakes and skim milk pretty often. I am also eating a lot of fruit and veggies. Not eating out helps me too!!

Stress is definitely a killer for me. When overly stressed, I eat. And I eat a lot!

Talk to you all later!

Sandy: Glad I could be of help!

Sue: Yeah!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Jerry lost 2 pounds. He is doing it too because I am not cooking!
