Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Good morning to all. The snow did hit yesterday. Think that we got about 3 inches but I heard on the news that parts of Denver got 10". The storm cut off electricity to about 40,000 and as of last night they still had 8,000 to go. Trees are in bad shape, etc. The moisture just keeps coming but I don't care. My goal is to be able to water 3 times a week.

Bonnie, I think that you are bad luck. Stacey tried to send you the St. Thomas pics via email and she had trouble with AOL. So I told her just to give them back to me and I would just have reprints made. Well, I took them in last Monday and Target's developer broke so now am going to result in asking Ted to scan them. Don't look for them anytime soon. Our computer will probably crash or something.

Laurie, glad that you enjoyed your pictures. We helped one year at the special olympics and that was rewarding. Glad that your sister did so well. They are always so proud of their accomplishments!

Susan, as long as you have a boy it will never end. You will be in sports all the way through high school and then probably college too.

Denine, one more week. I feel like counting down for you!!!!

Happy Mother Day!

We didn't get any snow and I covered some of my plants because they said a freeze and that didn't happen either....not that I am complaining....this time of year I want lots of warm weather.

I worked in the yard today and I still have sooooooo much to do..planted 7 more containers and a bush....

Tomorrow starts my Curves diet....I am so excited....yeah right!

Two hours of Survivor tonight.....now what do we watch!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!


I hope that everyone had a great day today! Today was my day of rest! Makenzie had her party and LIVED IT! She had so much fun! Every gift she opened she said "just what I wanted" or "I love this! It's beautiful!" She was so cute!! She even hhad to try everything on this morning and looked at herself in the mirror to see how they looked on her. She said everything was beautiful on her! She was in her element when she saw Jerry and Denine! Jerry is her official playmate! She loves playing with him. She even had him playing with her new barbie's she got for presents! I figure it is good practice for him for when Kaleigh gets older. AND.. speaking of Kaleigh........... SHE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! She thinks "aunt" Julie is funny! All she could do was laugh and smile at me! But then again, who wouldn't. (sorry Garry I beat you to it!) We dodged the rain thank heavens and had a nice day!

Sally, I watched Survivor and I wouldn't have voted for Jenna to win the money. I don't know who I would have like to see win it, but not her! Maybe Kristy. I didn't watch that show very much. I'm an American Idol fan, Big Brother, and the Mole fan. I use to watch survivor, but after the one with Colby and Tina, I seem to have lost interest in it.

Bonnie, I voted for your son's band and will have Garry vote for him too. Can you vote more than once? I'm gonna try. I figure the more votes he gets the better, right? Tell him I wish him the best of luck! Keep us posted on if his band wins!

Sandy, did I miss something about this picute business? Everyone seems to be getting them from you but your Lil Sis! I want some too!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna tell if you don't! LOL

Susan, I'm glad to see Turner is healthy and back on track with his hockey! Tell him that I will be looking for him to star in the NHL in let's say 5-10 years! I will then brag that I knew him way back when when we all took a disney cruise and he was caught sleepwalking on board! LOL We all expect to be invited to his first pro hockey game so start saving now for all of us to come visit!


Laurie, congrats to your sister! What events did she do? I know you were all proud of her! So are we! That is wonderful! If you get a picture of your sister with her ribbons/medals for 2nd you should email me. I would love to see her expression on her face! Tell her WAY TO GO!

I have been remiss and ignoring everyone lately, not that I haven't thought these thoughts, so here goes....

Laurie- COngrats to your sister!! So happy she did well although it is just the fun of participating that counts. I think the Special Olympics are great! I have always thought of volunteering for them but never see anything about them being held in this area.

Turner-back up to speed!!!! Just think Susan, at least the homework bit will be done soon!

Sandy- I will be looking for those pictures!!! I must be jinxed as far as they go. I must look really bad in them and someone up above does not want me to see them! LOL! Hope you had a terrific Mother's Day! Miss you bunches!!

Lori-Where are you? Did you go away again? I forget. Old age I think

Julie- I was wondering how Makenzie's party went. I wish I could have been there. Send pictures!

Denine-Just think, Kaleigh will be yours officially for good very soon!!!! How exciting. I wish I was going to WDW with you but at least I have a long weekend in Chicago!

I think I got it all.

Olivia is the best baby!!!! I told Ryan that I wished he was so good when he was a baby. I held her for hours! Of course she slept most of the time. When she finally woke and ate she stayed up a little longer...long enough for her to see me and fall back asleep in my arms...no fussing or anything. Jaundice is going away...no more lights needed and she is doing much better with the feeding. Gold coins for our Baby Blueprints staff for all their help! I will say it again...I work for a wonderful insurance company.

If Turner makes the NHL, he'll have to pay for all of us to go to the games!! (And, a reunion cruise!)

Good Morning!!

Happy Belated Mothers Day.

I basically did nothing on Mother's Day. Including going over to my own Mothers house. Bad Barb Bad!!! I was so exhasted from Saturday Prom day. We started the day early with getting her a manicure and pedicure. Then to Veda Salon for a facial, eyebrows, make-up and hair. TIffany got a haircut also. We didn't leave the salon until 4:00. Then we rushed to the flower shop and bought a rose and greens and I got to make the boutineer. Ryan came over we I took lots of pictures. Bob came home about that time from being gone a week. After the kids left Bob and I and Tiffany went to dinner and a movie then Tiffany wanted to go get coffee. I am usually in bed between 9 and 9:30 Saturday it was about 11:30.

Jaymee and Ryan had a really good time at Prom. I guess it was worth it.

Good morning!

Happy belated mother's day to you all!

Had a very nice time at Makenzie's party. We kept looking at her and seeing our future with Kaleigh. A sweet little Princess, although, I am told, that Makenzie will not see 5.
Julie did a very nice job with her kitchen, nothing to laugh about. Garry just sat in the highchair, eating and watching the wiggles and telling everyone to move. Oh, the Big Guy was there too!

Had a very nice first Mother's Day. Jerry made me breakfast, waffles, with sliced strawberries and coolwhip and maple syrup, yumm!!!! Then we went to the zoo. I received a free carnation, free admission, and a free 5 minute massage. We also entered to win something. It was a decent enough day as far as weather goes. It was very windy though. Kaleigh enjoyed the animals.

It is cold and rainy today. The warmest it is supposed to be this week is 63. I can't wait until Saturday.

Sue: We are leaving quite early in the morning and should be in Charlotte by early to mid afternoon, it depends on Kaleigh. Should I try to call you? We are spending the night in Columbia, SC.

I can't think of anything else right now.

Good morning everyone. Sounds like everyone had a terrific Mother's Day. Ted took me out for brunch and then we came home to yucky laundry. Stacey had us over for dinner.

Oh Julie, don't feel left out on the pics. I sent pics to people that I had doubles on. Susan, Barb, Sally & Patty didn't get any either. Not that I don't love you guys, just didn't have any to send. I have leftover scenery pics if anyone is interested. Dawns Beach and Magan's Bay. Pictures taken on top of Paradise Point looking down on the ships. Pics of the dudettes and us drinking bushwackers at the top. Just speak up and they are yours.

Survivor took me by surprise. Didn't want Jenna to win. Heidi and I wanted Matt or Christy. Oh, I couldn't stand the beauty queens, Jenna, Shanna, and Heidi. Anyone else and I mean anyone would have been better!!!!!!

Barb, what a terrific mother you are. My girls were never treated to the works. Sounds like you guys had fun though. Shoot, if I knew you were good with flowers, you could have done Stacey's. How are you with CAKE? Just kidding.

Good luck on the curves diet, Sally. Let me know what you think.

Well, Julie was just trying to occupy me so I wouldn't get mad over the way Denine kept grabbing Makenzie's new Barbies from her. Have you ever heard of sharing Denine?! Denine-A friend of my from HS used to live in Columbia SC. They now live in La Jolla CA. Sounds like you had a terrific first Mother's Day.

Mom-If I lived closer I would have stopped by to see you!!! Am I still the favorite? LOL!

Good Morning everyone!!

I know I was bad on Sunday not going to see my Mom, but I am planning a special day for her after graduation. I figured that by then I will have time to focus more on her.

I think it is finally going to warm up here. Yesterday was beautiful and today looks like it will be even better.

Jason called me today at 5:00 am!! It is so encouraging to hear he is happy. He is enjoying the inexpensive stuff. He bought 2 football jerserys for $15 each. The kind that cost $200 to $300 here.

Good morning! Barb, I have to come to your defense. I, too, did not spend the day with my mom. My plans are after this weeks graduation as well. She is a wonderful mom who understood completely. Got Jaymee's announcement. Beautiful picture!

75 degrees is expected today. A beautiful day in Denver. Good news for me, also. It is to rain the next couple of days and be nice for the girls open house. High school graduation we had to squeeze upteen thousand people in the house because it rained.

Thanks for coming to my defense. I felt bad for not going over to my Mom's house. I owe her for numerous other things too. How did the graduation party go in your house?? I decided not to have Jaymee's party at our house because I felt it was too small. We have about 3000 sq feet but 2000 is unfinished basement and upstairs. We have a teeny tiny back yard. We are having the party at Ryan's uncle's house. It looks small to me but Ryan's mother insists it is really big. I am thinking we will only have about 100 people. I would love to hear details on your party.

Yesterday I picked up proof's for pictures I had taken of Jaymee and Ryan together. I wanted to have one of the proof's scanned on their cake. I won't have time for any pictures I order to come in so I have to use a proof. Hope that won't be a problem. The photographer wrote a number on the proof. Guess I will have to deal with it.

Garry: LOL! I was deprived as a child. I just wanted to play Barbies and Makenzie had so many.

Going to AAA for the Trip Tik tonight, need to know where the construction is, and then to Jerry's parents to give his mom her mom's day gift. She had to work all weekend.

Joyce & I worked Mother's Day Weekend so it wasn't a very Happy Mother's Day for us. I also have had a doozy of a sinus infection since last week. I went to the Dr.'s for a regular appt. on Thursday & he put me a Amoxicillan but it doesn't seem to be helping. I am only surviving when I take the Tylenol Sinus but now I have this terrible cough! The headache is sooo bad it is preventing me from doing the hundreds of things I need to do.
I hate to say this but I am NEVER sick & when I get sick I can't stand it!

Sounds like you all had a nice mother day including our first time Mommy Denine & our first time Grandmommy Bonnie.

Just wanted to let you know Disney Dudette #2 & #3 are still alive & kicking. We do cheat & read the boards at work sometimes but it won't let us post at work.

Barb, the party will be this coming Saturday so I have just a few days to go. I think that it depends on which bakery you go to for the cake as to whether they will accept a copywrited picture. SuperTarget would not so I tried Sam's. Not a problem.

Jeanne, sorry to hear that you are sick. This time of year seems to be a horrible time for colds. Hope you get well soon.

Barb, I just had another thought. If they won't use your proof then scan it and make your own picture. That way it won't have anything on the back.
