Cody thinks it looks like BATMAN's suit, and that Mom rocks! When it comes to fashion, what more could a mom ever wish for LOL.
Cody looks more like the storm trooper in his chest protector and tall boots. Katies boots actually are 'stormtrooper' white I'm glad they wear it all, Cody went head-over, going into his first jump last summer.

We had a good time at the Olive Garden last night for my BIRTHDAY 35 ain't so bad now that we have Kaleigh.

We went to a different mall after dinner and I found a dress for Kaleigh for next month. It is absolutley adorable and now I have to have her pictures taken in it. It was originally $58 and we got it for $19 including tax. I bought little shiny white shoes to go with it.

I just made a report to the FDA. They have come out with these new Advance formulas. They have DHA and RHA added to them. They are fatty acids supposedly found in breast milk. Since they came out with this stuff that is $7 more a can, they stopped carrying the big size of the regular isomil. So, we bought it twice. She was extra, extra crabby the entire time, each time. We figured it was something with the formula. My parents saw a bit on the news last night how these Advance formulas are causing all kinds of problems from a rash to sever diarrhea. They were interviewing mothers. One baby actually ended up in the hospital on IV fuids because the diarrhea was so bad. We are lucky all it caused was GI upset, at least we are gussing that was the reason for the crabbiness. They said that since it is a food supplement, it didn't have to be approved by the FDA. But since there are so many complaints, the FDA is looking into it. They do regulate infant formual according to their web site. I just wanted another voice to be heard.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YESTERDAY, DENINE. My goodness, Katie shares her birthday last Friday with my mom and you share your birthday with my brother. Hope you had a terrific day. Can't wait to see pictures of the new dress. My, that was a find.

Well, Bonnie is off. Hope she has a terrific time and that the weather will cooperate.

Julie came out of the woodwork. Yahoo! And Garry, I can just picture him with some old drunken bar maid. Not a pretty picture.

Richard, my future SIL is here working. He is so terrific. Glad that he has those wonderful skills. He even corrects Ted's bloopers. Stacey has a class all day today so he decided to spend all day here helping. What a guy!

Bryan is panicking now. Heidi is very cold and told him not to bother calling. She is in control now NOT him. Quite humorous. She told us that she doesn't think that she can get back with him because he is the kind that would be married to his job not his family. She has come a long way in just a few days.

It is a beautiful day here in Denver. My windows are open and the birds are chirping. Spring is here for awhile. At least until Monday when the next rain storm comes in. That's ok too.

First of all Happy Birthday to Denine & Congratulations to Kaleigh for getting two terrific parents!

I have some good news! Disney Dudette #3 alias Joyce became a Grandmom for the second time. She had a second grandson named Benjamin who came in weighing over 9 lbs. on 4/25/03. We both have been working lots of overtime. The maternity unit is VERY short staffed. We both worked Easter weekend & I am going in tomorrow from 1 PM to 7 PM but next weekend we are going to Ocean City, NJ for the Spring Craft Fair & we can't wait! It's not as EXCITING as Bonnie's vacation but it will due.

Good for you Heidi! Stick to your guns.

A friend is leaving today on the DCL & I told her to look for Darren. I hope she remembers. Sounds like you all had a wonderful Easter. Happy Spring!!! Toodles JEANNE

Planted a flat of flowers, some tomatoes and cucumbers today. Also, moved a couple of bushes. Stopped because it got cloudy. It was a good thing since we had a thunderstorm roll in. The rest of the day was beautiful. Tomorrow is supposed to be even better.

Got some screen windows and the screen put in the door today. It is nice to be able to open them. Now, if the weather will continue to cooperate. We also ripped out some dead azelea bushes and it looks like my butterfly bushes bit the dust from the winter too. Jerry is working on edging the beds before we put mulch down.

Back to work tomorrow. That week off sure flew by. But this week will be somewhat short. I have to take Turner to the orthopedic doctor Thursday afternoon and then we leave for Myrtle Beach for a long weekend. Hopefully the weather will be nice.

Lori, I didn't hear back about a theme for the pack meeting. Did you get it taken care of?

Denine, I want to get a butterfly bush. I have alwasy wanted one. Maybe this year I'll do it. Wish I had thought of it earlier this week when I had more time.

I miss Bonnie. Hope she has a good trip meeting "Mom".

Hey Denine, you and Jerry want to come over and do yard work over here? I'll babysit! I have been removing wallpaper and boarder off my kitchen walls for the past two days! I have almost gotten it off completely. Next is to put the new stuff up and then we start on Makenzie's room before her birthday party in two weeks!

She wants us to paint her paint her room princess purple! She was with me when I went to Home Depot and she saw the Disney paint samples and pictures, so now she has the idea of the light purple with pale pink accents. (see Denine, this is what you have to look forward to! ) Cause those are her favorite colors, well that is what she tells us. SO..... I'll have more wall paper and boarder to remove before we can paint! All before her birthday party!

So Denine, IF you and Kaleigh get cabin fever when the weather isn't the greatest, come on over! Just give me a ring, I'll have snacks and a paint brush waiting for you! Kaleigh will be entertained by these two over here. You know, that could be fun! The two of use taking down wallpaper and painting a room........ what trouble would we get into? LOL

Julie: The two of us painting? That could be scary. And, there is a reason I don't have any wallpaper in my house. Just 1 small border under the counter in the eating part of the kitchen. Nad yes, I forgive you! By the way, pink and purple are my 2 favorite colors. We are going to try to make it to Makenzie's birthday party. That may be the only time we get to see you guys! Jerry said that if we don't get together before we leave, then we will have seen our friends in Florida more than you this winter!
Jerry also said, that if you want, we can also try to get together during the week.

We also have some painting that needs to be done. We painted the whole house on a marathon painting session the week before we moved in 5-1/12 years ago. The halls need to be touched up now.

I can't wait to hear about Bonnie's trip!

Sue: A butterfly bush will probably do better in your climate. We are in the coldest zone for it. They were here when we moved in. There were 3, now we have 2 and possibly none. Since they are summer bushes, I'll give them more time.

Lori: What about Garry's idea? That could be very interesting!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Ours was great. We went to Estes Park. Lots of little shops. The weather was great. We have been enjoying Jason being here. I will be sooooo sad tomorrow when he leaves for Korea.

Tiffany is in Vail this weekend at a FBLA State competition. She was crying and stressed when she left. She was running late. I hope she is having a good time. I am feeling like I let her down though. I only gave her $50 for food. She will be there for 3 days. 2 of the dinners are included. Do you think I gave her enough??? I kept thinking yesterday I should have given her extra "just in case" money. I feel like a bad Mom!!!
