HI!
Foot pains, surgeries, yikes.
Loved the Christmas boost. I need to start thinking about that.
Krista, cheers girlfriend!
Julie, I just today got your pre-Hawaii PM. I didn't get a notice about it, but just got a notice for a DIS PM so I saw it there. Thanks for the nice send-off.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

The temperature in New Jersey went from the 70's to the 30's. I guess winter is really here!

SANDY: How freaky is this? I am going to get a new mattress today! Shopped & shopped & shopped - mattress salesmen are a little like car salesmen (sorry if we have any of the above) so I finally decided to get a Serta from Sam's Club for $339.00. It is a full size called the "Northstar Mystique". I can't wait!:jumping2:

JULIE: Joyce & I arrive Saturday, November 29th around 9:30 AM. You know we will be at "The Dolphin" & it is registered under Jeanne Wolf. My cell number is (609) 221-9358 but I'm not sure it will work in WDW.

I can't believe we will miss the lunch but both Joyce & I have to work that Sunday. Hope you all have a great day & weekend.

:wave2: ::MickeyMo Toodles, JEANNE

Slow chatting today.
Had my glass of wine for everyone. That is just one glass, not a glass for each of you.

Metformin is also known as glucophage. Last time out at the doctor, my blood sugar was a little bit elevated. I have insulin resistance, not diabetes. If left untreated it would have turned into diabetes quickly.

Sandy: My doctor said either of the surgeries could be done before and/or after the other. If it really continues to get too bad, check into the shock wave therapy. I will warn you, it has been o.k.'ed as a treatment, but still takes a lot of red tape to get through.
Yes, I wear orthodics and run around in clogs, year roung.

Tata friends, going to go whip up a dessert and pick out a wine for dinner at a friends.
Krista

Lunar eclipse, NOW. Too cool! I've been watching it slowwwly cover over, my hands are frozen, but oh my gosh, it's so unusual to see. The typical Colo. way to see a full, red moon, is during fire season.

Sandy, congrats on the new baby arriving today! :Pinkbounc
Got a name yet?

Hey, I got my Secret-Santa/Pollyanna gift purchased and packaged today. It's ready to mail when the time is right. Good effect those Christmas songs had on me!

 Back to that lunar coolness. Must attract me so much because I'm part wolf, part lunatic.

Hi from the frozen Ohioians! It is suppose to go down into the teen's tonight and Garry has to work out in it all night. We put up some more Christmas decorations today. Next comes the tree. (Maybe next weekend). I washed my carpet last night and boy did it sure need it!

Nothing much more going on here! Have a great sunday!

Just walked in the door!! Turner's team won all 3 of their games. Turner stopped all but one shot in his 2 games (one goal each). He almost had a shutout the last game. The other team scored with 1 minute, 50 seconds remaining. What an awesome weekend! We're going out to dinner to celebrate!! Missed you guys!

Way to go Turner!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Krista: Sorry about the plantar fasciatis. Hope you enjoyed the wine.

Lori: I've got some presents purchased, but not the secret Santa. I am looking though.

Sandy: Enjoy the new truck.

Julie: Can you come clean my carpets?

Sally: Poor Abby!

My mom had surgery last night. She had a detached retina. Saw the doctor yesterday morning and she had the procedure last night. She came home today. She never lost all vision in the eye, so there is hope for a good recovery. My mom had never had general anesthesia before. Luckily both my parents made it successfully through the night, even though my dad did fall after getting home. He was able to get himself back up. If you don't remember, my dad has MS. I was afraid he would fall after such a long day and not be able to get up and no one around.

We were busy all day yesterday. We did a bunch of stuff around the house and went to a friends house last night. We didn't get home until about 3 AM.

We bought a small fiber optic tree today. We just can't figure out how to put up the regular tree this year. So it will be this one and then next year we can have 2 trees.

I just typed a whole posting & then lost it! Where did it go?:magnify:

TURNER: Congratulations! Way to go! :jumping4: I just know we will be able to say "we knew you when ...".

SANDY: Good luck with your new addition to the family. Safe trucking :moped:. Wishing you 100,000 miles or more!

Christmas tree isn't up yet but the Mickey's are on the stairs, Snowmen are in their homes, wrapping station set up, but now I need my son to carry the tree, decorations & Christmas dishes upstairs. I am planning on having it all done by next weekend.

Working Monday & Tuesday & then Joyce & I are off to Rehobeth Beach, Delaware, for OUTLET SHOPPING :happy1: We are staying at our friend Mary Lou's house on the Indian River in Delaware on Wednesday & Thursday. Can't wait!!!! Hope you all have a great week. Toodles  ::MickeyMo JEANNE

Just stopping in to say hi! We finished decorating around the house today. Next weekend the tree!

Denine, my father has had several eye surgeries and the one your mom had, he has had and it has been fine. As a matter of fact, tomorrow is his first day back to work after being out for over a year with his eyes and his problem with his foot. (He has diabetes and has lost part of his foot). With all the infections and eye surgeries, he is a walking doctor's appointment. Wish him luck tomorrow. He is scared to death to go back to work. Hey Denine, how does this Friday look for getting together? We have to pick up Anna Marie up at 4:30pm but Garry has the night off! We were surprised!! It free..... what to do? It will be cold, so maybe dinner or jsut getting together? We could do a disney night? You ahve to show us the one cruise video still, I told Garry about it and he said he would like to see it too. Just let me know! I could bring my carpet cleaning machine over and we could do your carpets! LOL!

WAY TO GO TURNER!!!!!!!!! I hear NHL knocking at your door!

Jeanne, have a great outlet shopping trip with Joyce!

I know that I'm the "special day" announcer, so I hate to toot my own horn, but

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Will check in sometime later today. I will be taking Makenzie and joining her preschool class as they go to the Olive Garden to make pizzas tomorrow morning so I won't be back on until later!

Have a great monday everyone!

Happy Birthday Julie!!!!!!

We painted all weekend....walls and furniture. Right now my living room looks like a strong wind went through and mixed everything up. I am going to put the things back up on the wall this morning. Dick also got the new banister up and it looks so nice. You would never guess what color I put on the walls....very dramatic......but then I like to do things in the house you don't see in every house on the block.

We are going to see Elf this morning as it is the last day of a 3 day off from work for my grandaughter. She is such a help...there is no way I could have gotten 5 pieces of furniture and the two walls done in two days without her.

We watched 3 Christmas movies yesterday while we worked...trying to get in the mood. It is 47 this morning at 7:l5 so it is going to be another nice day.

Happy Birthday again Julie....Have a fun day!!!!

Julie: Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :wave2:  :jumping1: :cool1:

We are available on Friday. That works out great. We could get something to eat, come back here and watch the DCL video. I have to work this weekend, but it won't be a problem.

My mom also has diabetes. It is the same eye she had a cataract removed and laser surgery on. She should be fine.

Julie: Hope your dad has a good 1st day back to work.

Sally: So, what color is your living room?

Tomorrow is Veteran's Day. Jerry has off and we are going down to Amish for the day. Thanks to all who help and who have hepled to protect our country.

I wrote one post and it disappeared ...I hate when that happens...so will try again.

I painted two walls in the living room a dark red. We have paneling in there on the other two walls which I would like to paint but Dick put it up and is really fond of it. We painted the furniture white and I am getting a very light beige carpet.

I love to go to Amish country but it is kind of sad when we go. We witnessed the l0 Amish children get hit by a car and 5 died about 7 years ago. We met two of the families and they were so nice. They both lost two children.

My grandaughter just got here so have to get going...have a good day

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE!

Gosh, it seems like I have been away for a long time. Let me see.......

Denine, my mom has had cataracts too and is a diabetic. They would do one eye but not the other. The diabetes is causing her to go blind. Oh how that upsets me! I want to go to Amish country with you.

Way to go Turner. We knew him when......

Sally, do you want to come over and help paint the basement? You are such an expert. My computer room could use some clutter cleaning also.

Jeanne, don't you ever stay home???????????????

Krista, thanks for the tidbit! I will consider the shock wave. I wear birkenstocks if I don't have my orthotics on. What brand clogs do you wear? Don't forget to give me an update after your treatment.

Heidi just called. The dad of her ex boyfriend, Bryan, is taking her to lunch. She is so nervous. She loved his dad like he was her own. I hate to see her this nervous over him. I hope she finds out all the gossip about him! And maybe the REAL reason why they broke up.

Lori, the lunar eclipse was great! No name yet for the truck. Got an idea? I bought my secret santa gift also.

I had to go pick Turner up from school and bring him home. He's not feeling well so I have another chance to post today.

I thought as a proud Hockey Mom I'd post the link to Turner's stats. We are so proud of him and what a weekend! Hopefully this link will work. His league is the Squirts and the team is the Charlotte Blast. You'll have to select Goalie Stats in the drop down list instead of Player Stats.Turner's Hockey Stats

Wow! Turner's number ONE! Whoo hoo!!!:bounce: He must be winning games for the team pretty often, considering none of his players made it into the top ten for scores. I know a good many of Ave's games were won by Patrick Roy.

Poor Julie! Having to announce her own Birthday! We're so bad.
Happy Birthday Julie. Oh, and this is a bit early... but HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE! (I wanted to be the first to say it for NEXT year)

Sandy, so does the truck look more like a "Rufus " or a "Buck" or maybe "Big Al". Send us a link to a picture of that type of truck. Maybe on a web site for the maker (Chevy?) I already have forgotten what kind you were getting. Do you get to bring him /or her to lunch? We are on for the 17th, right?
BARB, SALLY, are you guys coming??? Since you already got a Bahama Breeze fix recently, should we go someplace else? There's a Panera on Santa Fe. (Actually I just saw another one by Mimi's in Park Meadows area, but I don't know if it's open yet.) Ummm, I'm getting hungry.

What would we do without you, it took you to remind us of you, jeesh!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JULIE!!!!!

Turner - Way to go!!! #1 and looks like your other goalie is #2, can you guys be beaten?????

I have part of my secret santa gift, and have too many ideas left.

I am trying to link a picture of Clare as a jellyfish for Halloween. Hope I get it soon or it will be Christmas.

Have a great evening, off to teach class.
Krista

Turner - Way to go!!! #1 and looks like your other goalie is #2, can you guys be beaten?????
Turner's answer to this is NO!

Thanks for all the comments about Turner. He loves the attention!

2 weeks from tomorrow we leave for Florida and 2 weeks from Saturday we set sail! So excited!!!:jumping1:

Hope you had a great day, Julie!!

Denine - look for a PM from me. Have fun with Jerry's day off tomorrow.

Sandy, Lori, Barb and Sally - I hope you all have a great lunch next week. Don't foget to take our group picture with you.

Jeanne - hope you and Joyce have a great shopping trip.

Bonnie - where are you??? I hope you are not working too hard still!!

So, Darren is still missing??? Wonder if he is back at sea??

Later!

Had a good day....saw Elf, had lunch at Fargo's, went to Lowes and got the molding I need for the ceiling, went home and Crissy put the second coat on my cabinet, went to mall and ate. We didn't want to eat at home since Dick can't eat today as his test is in the morning and he is starving....can only drink what he can see through....watched tv and now going to bed.

Crissy bought a Santa hat for her dog and a reindeer santa hat for Abby.....they looked so cute.....she loves to put hats on the dogs for the season and take their picture. Abby really looks thrillled.

Crissy bought the snowmen that sing at Hallmark that they have on tv....she showed Abby and when they started to sing she ran and hide under the table....and I depend on that dog to be our watch dog!!

The weather was beautiful today...didn't even need a jacket...it is still 46 and it is l0:30.....

Well goodnight all.....
