Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

Oh no, Palo brunch was all unavailable already :sad1: - did you still get it, Deb?

At the moment, the system seems rather fragile - I seem to have managed to get a couple of reservations through, but I'm not sure yet since I am getting all sorts of error messages. Now they are telling me my reservation is currently unavailable, and to try again in 20 minutes ... Oh, the suspense of it ... :sad2:

 :sad2:
Sorry.

Did you get what you want Annika? :wizard:

Well like I said, the system threw me out and now my booking is unavailable. I am not sure if anything is saved ...

Edit: Oh no, we seem to be caught in a loop of always answering one post behind :-)

WELL, I have a halfway successful booking for you grandchildren Deb. LOL... They still won't let me enter DD in the system so I hope they let her stay... BUT, DS is in ! YAY! :dance3:

Hmm, they do not seem to be all too serious about their "try again in 20 minutes" message: 20 minutes are up and I still get the same error, can't access my reservation at all.

Anybody else ever accidentally cancelled their cruise while trying to book Palo? :rotfl2:

:scared1:
Have you tried logging out and then logging back in? :confused3
Restart the computer and try again? :confused3

I never got kicked out . . .didn't get my palo ressie, but I didn't get kicked out :surfweb:

Okay, I am back in. I wasn't too worried because I did a Google search on that error message and it came up a few times so I could read up on it here on the boards, seems to be not entirely uncommon. They also said it took more like 40 minutes instead of 20. Turns out it took about 30 minutes, for me.

My reservations as far as I had made and confirmed them (one at a time) were still there. I think I shot the system by becoming too bold and trying to reserve two items at once, without submitting after the first.

But anyway - it's a success story for the most part: :dance3:

- I have secured Palo dinner (not for the night of my 1st choice but 3rd choice, apparently Pirate Night. Saves me from having to find a pirate costume :confused3).
- Didn't get Palo brunch, but I wasn't the only one and I had already heard they were all gone somewhere before.
- Got Tulum!
- Got the Seven Mile Beach Break (the one in the morning).
- Got the Exotic Rasul.
- Got the Stingray Adventure on Castaway Cay.

I guess that's it ... although I am so happy at the moment I might just go wild and find myself a nice little spa treatment just for myself ... Let's go shopping :rolleyes1

All of the best massage times are gone.:sad2: We are so looking forward to a nice massage. If you want a massage you must miss something else like dinner or the show. Oh well. I am sad but there is nothing that I could do. Maybe next time.:sad1:

:banana: you got your reservations. Don't give up on Palo brunch, you can always try once onboard. You may even be able to switch your dinner reservaton too....

I hope everyone got what they want. I have found that the spa runs great port day specials. You all may want to check them out. :woohoo:

We have decided to fly instad of driving so we can stay until Monday after the cruise at WDW. The only reservations we could get for two consecutive nights was at Saratoga Springs but that is OK because I will be at Disney! I can not wait!

Good Morning Everyone. Glad you all got most of the ressies you all wanted. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who said my little ones are adorable. I am crazy in love with them, but sometimes they just dont behave as cute as those pictures say.

Last year on our cruise it seemed like the spa has openings for just about anything you wanted. So I imagine that once you are on board you can get the things you want.

Have a happy Monday!

Don't give up on Palo - they hold back reservations to book on the ship. I think someone else mentioned that the spa has specials on port days.

Now you can relax and just get excited about the cruise! :yay:

Don't worry - the spa always holds back reservations for booking on the ship. When you board, go up to the spa and see what they have available. They usually offer a tour as well. The only thing they don't hold back on are the cabana massages on CC.

Then don't forget to tell them about the dungeon for naughty children down on deck 3 ;) :lmao:

I do not think there is a child yet that acts as cute as the look. :lmao: Come to think of it I know several adults that it fits too.:rotfl2:

We're so very sad to have to bow out of this cruise. We've rebooked for January 30 on the Eastern itinerary. :/ I lost my job so need the extra few months to regroup.

I am sorry to hear this, I do know how you feel. Good luck in the job search. The job market stinks here so I hope you have better luck than I am having.

Congrats to every one with their reservations. Now that every one has passed their booking dates we are that much closer to cruising!!!!!:banana:
