Good Morning all

Well yesterday was not a good day for Nancy and me.
It all started when I had to go pick up our Grandson from work.
I ended up getting into a accident with my truck. Im fine and grandson is the truck will have to go to the body shop although I can still drive it.
The other person young lady involved was driving on a suspended license and was using her mothers car. On top of that she had two of her kids in the car on in car seats. Luckey enough nobody was hurt.
Then last night while Nancy and I were attending the Playhouse she tripped on a set of steps fall and sprained her ankle and twisted her knee. Im taking her to the doctors this morning.

Hello from Texas!!!

Dan- glad everything is ok. How did nancy's x-ray go??? Well I hope.

Had a very nice dinner at the riverwalk last night. Great mexican food and even better company!!

Driving on these highways is crazy!! Too fast and too many people. Patrick is off to class and I am spending the morning doing his laundry!!!! Do these kids ever grow up!!!!

It was nice to see him.

Three loads in, and a waffle in the shape of texas!!

Picture will have to wait until I get home to get off the camera.

I am only staying until Monday. WE are going tubing tomorrow, they need a DD

Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad everyone is ok . . .and hope Nancy's knee and ankle heals quickly. You've got to be ready for (another) vacation in 11 weeks!!!

Nancy didn't need Xrays. One knee wrapped in Ace Bandage and Ankle on other foot wrapped also. Dr says if on improvement in a few days might need Xray or MRI. So im playing Mr Mom.

Sorry to hear about the accident, and glad to hear that Nacy didnt need xrays.

Couple of things if I may.Keep a close on Nancy and the way she moves around.A lot of times, since a person has to favor 1 side of their body over the other,with this type of injury,it can lead to issues on the other leg and also the back, since your basically putting all of your weight on 1 side.Ive done it more than once,(Im was on a first name basis with my chiropractor when I lived in NY) and my fiance actually broke her leg in a similar way a few years ago.The other thing, is if the doctor hasnt told you already, is to alternate ice and heat on the affected joints.The ice will help keep any swelling down, and the heat will keep the muscle loose.This way when she is cleared to walk normally again, she wont be as stiff.

Did the police do anything about the woman with the suspended lic?

That I don't know. All I was told by the officer she was operating after suspension. After he was done with me he told me I could leave and went back to deal with the young lady.
I would imagine she is in trouble driving her Moms car under suspension and the kids in on type of car seat or boster.
Thanks for the info about Nancy . Our Daughter is a DO so I think with my wifes doc and and daughter inlaw she will be fine
