Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

Hi everyone. Brand new to this thread (need to be added to roll call & FE participants) but I'm always on the camping board. Hope that DH & I can get Palo for the 18th, even though it's the first sea day & goes fast. It is for our anniversary. This is our 4th Disney cruise and number 5 is on the Dream in September 2011, with the "Fort Fiends" (camping board group). Can't wait for this one though!! :woohoo:

Congratulations and welcome.

Heres something I learned last year. If the date your looking for in Palos isnt available, book what ever you can for now. When you get on the ship, run dont walk to where they do the Palos reservations changes. They usually have several options available.

Something just dawned on me. I was born and raised in NY.My fiance tells me I have an accent.Especially around other northerners. I wonder, how far Ill slip back to my roots this time around.

My brother and I grew up on LI (Levittown to be precise) and people tell me I have an accent as well. I've been living in NJ for quite awhile now, but I know I slip right back into it when i'm with other New Yorkers. Should be interesting :rotfl:

We have been in florida for 16 years, this old New Yorker will never say "fixin or y'all"

I have list most of my new york accent though.

I was born and raised in Queens just outside of JFK.(On the approach to 31/13).My accent is hard to place because of where I was I had multi accents to choose from, like Queens,Brooklyn(Les then 5 minutes away) and LI(Less then 10 minutes). Most people when they hear me think Boston.

Could very well be.I occasionally pop in there. I used to work for the Mouse and still go over to the Fort, from time to time.Usually Ill take my kids to the petting farm, to kill some time, and wander the Trading Post.

Are you booked thru DU and in a cat 6 by anychance?

If you are, theres a funny story behind how I found out.

Yes but a 5 GTY, what do you know?????

I got Dan & Nancy's brunch Sunday morning, the jeep in Cozmel and the 7 mile in grand Caymen.

yay. got palo's for 18th (anniversary), parasailing at cc, 7-mile at caymen & tulum in cozumel (our BEST caribbean shore excursion ever on any cruiseline!! so good we're doing it again)

Congratulations to all of you who could make their Palo and tour bookings today - I am a little envious of you!

For me, it's still waiting till August 2nd and keeping my fingers crossed that I will get what we want ... Arrrgh, this is truly hard for a compulsive overplanner like me ... :sad2:

Have a great weekend everybody!

Great, we will be on the Tulum excursion together (unless it will be booked out before we get a chance to book, but I hope not) - DH is so much looking forward to this excursion, good to hear you say it is the best!

The Palo high tea and brunch sittings are now all greyed out. If you want those sittings you should get to the port early. As for Palo dinner, there are plenty available. Only Thursday (day at sea) have only the first sitting 6pm and later sittings 8pm+ still available. Therefore you have a good chance of getting ressies at the 75 day mark. Good luck to you.

YEAH!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Who took this picture??? I know it was someone from this thread. I stole it for my wallpaper at work (hope that's OK )
